The kids had a hard time with the menu because it shows the names in Italian, but the description is in English and easy to understand. The food is still good, the ambiance nice for a date night where you might want privacy, and the staff was pleasant and attentive. A smell that didn't just build up in an hour so I can only assume that both the restaurant and bathrooms are not being properly cleaned and maintained. 2) The 2 cooks in the kitchen male and female need to be retrained on basic hygiene standards. I observed the woman on her phone for the entirety of our stay (little over an hour). Texting/watching videos and laughing and then putting it away and touching all of the food without gloves. Then, right back on her phone. I watched her also playing with her hair that was fortunately tied back and then continuing to touch the food with no gloves on. I observed the man on the other side of the kitchen sweating so profusely you would think it was the middle of a 110 degree summer. He was wiping sweat off his forehead, his neck, his nose and then continuing to touch all of the food without gloves. Laughing and talking so much I could see the saliva shooting out from his mouth. So unsanitary. You don't teach your staff basic sanitation??? I spoke to our server about it and she just said "yeah I know". Then I spoke to a manager on our way out and let her know what I had witnessed and she said "oh really?" And then let us know that she has mentioned it to the General Manager, but he refuses to hold anyone accountable. I asked to speak to the gm directly, but he wasn't available.
