I used to go to Blue Med Spa in Sherman Oaks, and every visit there would take 1-2 hours. The whole experience always felt like constant upselling from start to finish, from the front desk to the injector. It just wasn't enjoyable. My visit today was the complete opposite. The office is beautiful and very welcoming. When you walk in there's chilled champagne, orange juice for mimosas, and a lot of skincare products displayed. I'll admit I was a little nervous at first because I thought it might be another high-pressure environment. Instead, everyone was incredibly kind and relaxed. I told Kelly upfront that I had about $450-$500 to spend, and she didn't bat an eye or make me feel uncomfortable about having a budget. She treated my 11 lines and forehead wrinkles for $300, after the receptionist helped me apply a $65 coupon that she informed me about at check out. I was honestly expecting to only be able to afford my 11s like I used to at Blue, where just the forehead area would run around $550-$600 and crows feet were always extra. The difference here was huge. Kelly was thorough, knowledgeable, and efficient. She explained what she was doing, listened to what I wanted, and never once pressured me to add anything or buy extra services or products. I was in and out in about 30 minutes. I'm beyond impressed with the whole experience and so happy to be done with Blue Med Spa. I'll absolutely be back to have my crow's feet done, and I'm even considering signing up for their monthly pass. Highly recommend Kelly. Thank you so much!

She was not friendly and not what would I would expect going in for a massage. I've been stressed due to the loss of my father, so I decided to treat myself to a massage. She was delightful, very experienced and melted the stress right out of my neck and shoulders. Annie gets ten stars. No joke. The massage bed was also very comfortable and heated. Her phone continuously vibrated during the session, and I could physically feel her stopping and shifting as if she were checking it and replying. While I heard my husband getting a massage done with oil, she spent the first half just rubbing her elbows over the sheet because she was texting and didn't want to get her hands oily. She would stop and I could feel her wrist move or she'd massage with one hand. At times, she paused entirely. While I was on my stomach, she only worked on my left side and barely touched the right side of my back. She spent an excessive amount of time lightly rubbing my left leg with no pressure or technique. I never received a full, balanced massage -- my right side was largely ignored, and parts of my arms were never addressed. The unprofessionalism began even before the appointment. When I called to book, I was told via text to schedule that way instead. The responses I received appeared careless, including what looked like a child's message and a sticker of children a few hours a had made the appointment. The day before the appointment, I received a call stressing that I needed to be on time because another client was booked after me -- as if my appointment was somehow less important. This experience left me profoundly dissatisfied and extremely disappointed. A massage should feel attentive and professional. Instead, I felt disregarded and undervalued. I will not be returning.

I made some last minute add-ons to the initial order and Lotus home was incredibly accomodating. Jana and her team work tirelessly to ensure a most zen and pampering experience. Couples massage: Jen and Jade were beyond professional and relatable. They first sat us down and asked if we'd had massages before, if there were any spots they should avoid or focus on. We had an actual conversation prior to the treatment and their delivery was spot on. I so appreciate how Jen and Jade allowed us to enjoy our massage in silence. And every so often, when I had a comment, they chimed in and laughed with my honey and I! Then back to silent enjoyment. Through the entire massage, I felt they were very present, engaging, professional, and kind. Couples facial: Amanda and Tamara were so knowledgeable and skilled in their craft! First, Jana knew that my sweetheart and I don't drink alcohol, so Jana prepared non-alcoholic champagne! This was a special treat for us, as normally, we simply deny the alcohol and swallow the cost (that's already included in the deal). It was incredibly thoughtful of Jana to have something else prepared for us to enjoy. Along with the non-alcoholic champagne, she prepared clarifying mint tea, coffee, and sparkling mineral water. So refreshing as we floated in bliss. Then came the food tray. Oh. My. Droooooool. Tiramisu birthday cake, the biggest raspberry macaron, a quarter pineapple artfully displayed in the shell, crisp green grapes, literally the best turkey/bacon sandwich, and a delectable grilled chicken salad. Y'all, literally every single bite was top-tier. To top off the surprise, turns out Jana is the masterchef behind this amazing spread! Everything she does is done with intention and the client's experience in mind. I was simultaneously blown away and deep in serenity. 10 out of 10 would recommend!
