I have been to this facility twice this year. Both times, I went because my "usual place" couldn't take me in on short notice. Both times, I was able to get in to Lanna Thai Spa. I originally chose them because they had a high rating and good reviews. I was not disappointed. The shop is at the end of an older strip mall, but the facility itself is clean and welcoming. There is a central hallway that has private rooms on the left and right with curtained doorways. The table was comfortable, the linens looked and smelled fresh. They also had a space heater and fan in the room to handle any temperature extremes. If you read many reviews on massage establishments, the three biggest complaints about Thai massage businesses seem to be 1) big language barrier; 2) short-changing the massage time; and 3) demanding tips. I can tell you that, with both therapists, there were zero issues communicating, they delivered the appropriate massage time and there was no pressure to tip. Rates are a couple of bucks more than others ($75 for 90 minutes), but pretty much in line with similar places in Santa Clarita. You'll get your full time, plus, and the staff is very friendly, caring and accommodating. I have had "Pinky" and "Wan" in my two visits. Both gave excellent and relaxing massages, and I would recommend either. Both asked many times if I was doing OK, if they needed more or less pressure, etc. Hot towels are used several times to remove any excess lotion, and I didn't leave feeling like I had to run into a shower right away. Like most Asian massage establishments, you are not going to be under a warm and toasty blanket. They are comfortable working on bodies, so you had better be comfortable as well. By the way, on tips...personally, I do $20-$25 on a 90 minute massage, I do notice sometimes people are posting that they tip 10%...really? $7 bucks for an hour and a half of work on you? I had been in bad pain for days to the point of tears. Came in here in the evening. Jenny took her time and really cared that I did not feel well. She said "I want to help you" and she sure did. This past week I went to the gym 5 days & spent the 6th day at a music festival on my feet, all day. So when I say I was sore, tight, & in need of a massage... I needed a good one. I'm so happy I visited Lanna Thai Spa. Unfortunately I didn't get the name of the masseuse that massaged me but she was amazing. She got into the nooks and crannies and massaged my sore muscles that I didn't even know existed. She asked if the pressure was okay and emphasized certain areas without me asking. When you visit, make sure you bring cash. If not, there is an ATM machine in the lobby. If that doesn't work (which didn't with me), there's a liquor store in the same shopping center that works. Another note, it doesn't seem like there is air conditioning in the building. The lobby was warm but once you're in your massage room, it's cooler plus there's a tower fan. It's clean, comfortable, quiet, anything & everything you could ask for. The staff was pleasant, welcoming, and nice plus the prices were fair & affordable. I used the be a loyal customer at another massage spa but once I moved to SCV, I didn't want to drive an hour away for a massage, especially with these gas prices. I'll be coming back! Just finished a massage with Pinky. It was supposedly a 1.5 hours massage but because her strokes were very soft and she was not listening to my requests, I just had to finish it even though it has not been an hour yet to no longer waste my time. Let me tell you. I am used to Thai massages since Ive been going to Rafole Thai massage in the Valley for years. So a few minutes into my massage, a customer comes in then Pinky goes out of the room to entertain the guest. When she came back into the room a few minutes later, I had to politely tell her that its not very relaxing to get interrupted in a middle of a massage. Also, she never did concentrate on the areas I told her to that I was getting more frustrated than relaxed. She also does not have strong hands. It felt like my back was just being scratched. Lastly, I asked on the phone before going in if they accept credit cards, only to be told by Pinky that they only accept cash. There's no sign outside that its cash only. My girl was Pinky and she was awesome she knew what she was doing she let me know that it's going to hurt a little bit because I was very tense my muscles were very very tense. When you walk in the lady greets you and has you sign paperwork that discloses that you may bruise and you may cause injuries due to the fact that they are doing a deep tissue. So first off very professional. Honestly this is the best massage place I've ever gone to I haven't had any other massage place to compare it to but hands-down the best first experience I've ever had. Great New Massage Place! I was looking for a place to get a massage and found this place in the Santa Clarita Magazine... they have a special from 10-1 M-F for 1 hour of Thai massage for $35. The price was right and I've enjoyed Thai massage in the past so I figured I'd give it a try. Overall, I was really pleased with my massage. The place isn't particularly fancy, but definitely clean and nicely outfitted. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and seemed genuinely glad to have my business. I chose a combination of Thai and Swedish massage and really enjoyed the treatment. If you go in for the "Early Bird Special" (mentioned above), you basically get $10 off any treatment, so my 1 hour combination massage was $40. You have a choice between having your treatment on a traditional massage table or on a platform of sorts with a mattress and pillows and bars above for the therapist to hold onto while they do the Thai style portion of the therapy. My therapist's name was Jenny and she did a great job. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be going back myself! NOTE: Cash Only with ATM available in lobby (for a fee). read more

They don't listen to the customers request, I asked for a Swedish Thai massage needed to relax and relief stress, instead this lady Juan, uses her elbow and presses hard on your entire body. I told her 7 times to reduce the pressure and I want more of a relax massage not curing nots, she kept saying lots of nots we need to release, I kept saying I'm okay with nots focus on a Swedish massage, I was in a torture for 90mins instead of a relaxed laid back massage. These guys deserve 5 stars. They took me and my mom close to closing time and stayed late for us. We usually get Chinese style massages and found their Thai approach counter-intuitive, where they work on extremities (back of legs, arms, elbows, etc) painfully hard and problem areas (back and neck) not so much, but the result was both my mom and I felt loosened up in our back and necks. Badly needed a professional massage but this was not the place. The ladies here mean well, but they tend to think digging elbows into you with utmost pressure is a massage. Additionally, I asked to focus on my back, but she spent all her time on my legs. Last 15 minutes when I insisted, she started to work on my back.
