Jalapeño tree- Palestine 1:22- sat at bar- no wait. NoLa Saints on the TV. After a couple minutes I was acknowledged but had to wait several more before I was able to order. 1:33- placed food drink order- and chips delivered. Chips : light and flakey. Salsa mild- but good flavor. 1:43- lunch arrived.: shrimp (8) well seasoned but overcooked. Taco (1) also well seasoned but heavy on the cumin. I looked like there was 3 bartenders but I still had to wait and ask a couple times for a couple things. Idk- maybe if it's everyone's job. It's nobody's job. 2:07- ready for ticket. Waiting 2:11 asked for ticket. waiting waiting 2:16- still waiting for ticket. 2:20. Wrapped it up and left. The bar has limited seating and the dining area is wide open. Resembling a high school cafeteria. It looks like the ice cream machine is working. They just opened last month and may need to work out the kinks.

Great food at a pretty good price. Very helpful staff and the margarita was outstanding.

They have really good food and the best chips and hot sauce around. A little pricey, but everybody is too.

Skip the margaritas - they suck - but eat the fajita meat and/or grilled vegetable fajitas or quesadillas because they are fabulous!

You walk in, and the air grabs your lungs like a jealous ex. Whiskey, cold beer, and regulars who've been sitting on the same barstool since Bush was president--the first one. The floor's sticky, the music's loud, and the stories get better with each round. It's the kinda place where the walls have seen more sin than Sunday morning, and the barstools are worn smoother than your meemaw's church shoes.

It's sooo cute on the outside and they definitely have stuff to do as far as a bar goes on the inside. However, you can't breath in there!! It seemed like every single person in there smoked. I feel like they would get so much more business if they did not allow smoking in their establishment. Surely there are more people that don't smoke vs do. They are only catering to one crowd. I can tell you, I will never be back. My health is way more important than a night out there. It's a shame though! This place really could have a lot of potential. The other thing, when my sister asked them, "what kind of craft beers do y'all have?" The bartender replied, "I've never in my 3 years here been asked that, I don't know" then she passed us off to another bartender who started naming off beers like corona, michelob ulta and bud. Clearly she had no clue. I tried to tell her what that was and she seemed very puzzled. Clearly these are not trained bartenders, I should know, I've bartender for many years in well known establishments when I was younger. I guess the only people they really attract are domestic beer drinkers and smokers. Like I said, a shame.

We sit down and it takes you to get up to ask for service before you get served. Once you order a beer or some sweet tea be ready to get up again to ask for food. The food took an hour or so for 2 pizzas and a quesadilla. I noticed no other tables had food either. I ordered the pepperoni overload and boy is that false advertisement. The first experience I verbally asked "this is the pepperoni overload?" just to make sure. She said yes. I chuckled a little bit as this looked like is could be called the Wheres Pepperoni. The second time I ordered it I said can you double the normal pepperoni knowing what I was about to embark on..... it was the same. Also a dollar per small ranch. WILD They have a lot to work on. Hopefully they take this as constructive critism. Could be a really cool spot. Raise the prices. do what the menu says. don't charge for ranch. Hire another waitress if they can't keep up. Easy fixes. and the people will flood in.

We hosted approximately 200 guests in Palestine, TX, and the experience was elevated significantly by your outstanding staff. We specifically want to recognize Hunter, Haley, Yari, and Rolando for their professionalism and dedication. They arrived on time, took the initiative to introduce themselves, and actively participated in our logistics meeting. Throughout the evening, they displayed remarkable teamwork and a genuine commitment to service, greeting our guests with warmth and hospitality. Please also extend our thanks to Maria and the kitchen staff. The food was superb, arriving fresh and hot, and the Tres Leches cake was a particular highlight for our guests. You have an "A+++" team at El Toro. We look forward to recommending your catering services to the community and working with Brittany, Maria and their Teams again for future events.
