Delicious sandwiches and pastries. I got the fried chicken sandwich and the caprese panini and I liked both.

Super kind staff and my favorite iced oat milk latte! Perfect place to come after class to study and listen to jazz music!

Their daily lunch specials are super unique and amazing quality. Yes, they have sandwiches and salad, but this is not why I go there. Every day they have amazing ethnic dishes like one day they'll have tunisian lamb stew and the next they'll have morrocan chicken tagine. Wow! And it is terrific too! But their goat cheese salad is a must. Just trust me on this...

The sandwich was AMAZING, loved how they packed it with fresh ingredients and one sandwich was more than enough for my husband and I to split. For just a little under $14 through online making it very convenient. Highly recommend spending your lunch money here if you're on a budget. Pastrami sandwich 4/5 It's a nice clean sandwich, nothing too heavy, and I love the pineapple. Pineapple was just ripe and sweet. I think that's a pretty unique complimentary side they're doing. No sandwich spot ever gave me a pineapple! haha The sandwiches are also very big so you can definitely save the other half for lunch or share it with a friend. I do wish that the bread was toasted and that there was some kind of tasty sauce to go with it. They also charge an extra .75 cents for takeout packaging. But nonetheless I enjoyed it. Ambience 4/5 Inside is cool and lively. A nice dining area to quickly grub with a friend. Staff were friendly but I didn't really have much of an interaction since I ordered online. Quick tip, order online ahead of time before heading there since the lines can get very long especially during lunch hours.

You can adjust spice levels and add toppings which cost extra, but the simple chicken, rice, garlic sauce and hot sauce is absolutely delicious! The new south side location has bigger tables which makes it more accommodating if you want to bring a group of friends. Would definitely recommend trying!

While the…read morefood is great, what has kept me coming back has actually been the staff and their quality of service that has kept me coming back for more. Raul, their store manager has always been extremely friendly while also setting a high standard of generosity with the food portions. As a local resident who has come to this location about a dozen times, I've seen this standard of service be upheld by all staff members reliably across different times and days of the week, which is what has largely created such a consistently welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. This is more of a thank you post than a review. You're in for a treat if you visit this location.

The bread. Each of the three sandwiches had different breads, but all were incredible. This place understands a great sandwich, and every single ingredient was fresh, high quality, and absolutely delicious; bacon and turkey were thick, tuna was fresh, bread was hearty, peppers were freshly roasted. Friendly, prompt service, cute atmosphere. I absolutely will be back, more than once.

I think I just discovered my favorite restaraunt of all time in Berkeley. Though the exterior of…read morethe restaraunt is unassuming, and the building itself is quite small with limited seating, the interior is still very clean and neat, and the workers are very nice. I placed an online order for the C Chicken Momos and the Garlic Cheese Naan, which were both phenomenal. The naan was some of the best I've ever had. It was so fluffy, thick, and pillowy soft, and was not overly charred/thin or too crispy like other naan. Just pure doughy goodness. There was also a perfect amount of cheese filling--enough that you got the subtle kick of milky acidity, but not too overpowering. The naan itself was also not too greasy, and the garlic flavor was very aromatic. You could also taste a hint of the slight tartness from (I'm assuming) the yogurt used to make the naan. The "C" Chicken Momos came with eight large pieces, which is definitely enough to fill you up. The sauce tasted like a classic sweet-and-sour sauce with a very mild and pleasant spice. Also, because the dumplings were fried, they were crispy despite being covered in sauce, but still had a bit of the nice chew you would get from a steamed momo skin. The fillings themselves were also super flavorful: you get a herbal and fresh taste from the ginger, which balanced the tanginess of the sauce so the meal did not feel too heavy, and the subtle nuttiness and pepperiness of cumin in each bite. The dumplings also had some warm broth in them, which is perfect for a cold day. The prices are fair too. You can often find small discounts on Snackpass or delivery apps like GrubHub. Needless to say, I will definitely be coming back. Totally recommend!
