There were design challenges given to the kids to create. They were then given tokens to swap for small toys. Downstairs there's a glitter tile bench where kids can create their own tiles to take home. There is also a sitting area for the parents downstairs, with snacks such as pizza, fries, coffee and wine. Definitely worth checking out. Kids under 2 are free.

There are multiple levels to complete, and throughout the experience you're asked questions that determine what type of agent you are, which was a really cool touch. My kids spent hours here. The ball pool kindof smelled like poop. Not gonna lie, it was definitely a stinky spot. There was a sign nearby that explained the balls were disinfected by some type of filtration system. Okay! Regardless of the poop smell, we all had a great time! And used lots of hand sanitizer afterwards.

Lots of interactive exhibits, play areas and the obligatory climbing structure. Will inevitably be busy like most things on Long Island. Staff is friendly enough however mostly in the background. Good balance of different types of things to do, including a few animals upstairs. The town play set area is very cool, and I love that they have a rotating exhibit space. It was trains when we were there, themed to Thomas the train with both a ton of tracks to play with, as well as life sized Thomas train characters. Had to drag my son out of there, however luckily their gift shop is decent with legitimate toys versus just cheap crap. Would definitely come back here.

I look around at the small selection of dolls and ask "There's more to it than this room, right?" "No" she answers "this is it." I left. But my impression was they're asking you to pay $20 to go in a room and see about as many dolls as you'd expect to see at a yard sale... Maybe there's something I don't understand. The handicapped entrance is just for wheelchairs and not strollers so my husband and I really struggled with our 2.5 year old, 5 month old, and double stroller. The museum itself though is very nice and it's fun for the kids to run around the old subway cars, sit in them, sit in the buses, and do the free arts and crafts activity. It was just really annoying how difficult it was to get in and out of the museum with all the stairs. There were even stairs to the women's bathroom! Nice activity for kids but please be more clear how non-stroller friendly it is so families can plan.

We came here to see " Sue" the Tyrannosaurus Rex. The last day she was going to be in the exhibit was on Memorial Day. It was sweet to see families and all different kids go through this exhibit with awe and amazement. Our lil guy is in his dinosaur phase and was in love all around. Liberty Science Center was a good space to explore. We didn't have enough time to spend here, however we will return. The space was clean, employees were respectful and kind, and there are plenty of opportunities for anyone to check out different floors of interests. The only con is paying some parts to check out rather than an overall included ticket. Plenty of space to park; Will return soon!

We came at 3:30 (5pm close) on a Saturday and expected it to be less busy. It was PACKED. A sea of strollers and kids and parents. Going up and down in the elevators was a nightmare. Besides the number of people, the exhibits themselves were pretty cool. Mostly for kids aged 4+ but they did have a toddler area named the Wobbly Room which was pretty fun. $64 for two adults, kids under 2 free. A season pass for 2 adults and up to 4 kids was $250 and seems worthwhile if you come at least a few times a year. We definitely need to come back (not on a Saturday?) and do more exploring. We totally missed the planetarium!
