This review is for Dr. Pedram at The Joint, Brokaw clinic. I had been struggling with chronic upper back/shoulder and neck pain for 2+ months. I tried acupuncture, chiropractic, massage and pain medications but my condition did not improve. Thankfully, I tried The Joint and Dr. Pedram happened to be working on that day. He listened how I was injured and took note of previous injuries to my neck and back. And because of my mid-60's age and mileage, it was important to avoid being too heavy on the adjustments as I can suffer more pain as a result. (And that happened twice before) Dr. Pedram understood the severity of my condition and worked out the knots prior to making an adjustment. He had the perfect touch and was not too forceful. And for once, I left feeling better than when I had arrived. Keep in mind I had seen six other chiropractors at other chiropractic clinics previously, only to leave feeling worse. I also appreciate his advice on doing preventative trigger point massages on my own time. I am very grateful to be under his expert care and would definitely recommend him to family and friends. Not sure what star to rate this place. The services have always been good when I went, but wanted to cancel just because I couldnt find the time to come in anymore. I cancelled my membership dec 2024 and I had to physically come in to fill out paperwork in order to do so. Since its been awhile, I dont remember the name of the lady who assisted me, but she was dark skin. She said I was good to go. 5 months later I find out Im still getting charged 20$ a month for something I had already cancelled. Called and they said they had no record of me cancelling. How is that possible when I physically went in? She probably lost my paperwork and didnt even make the change on the computer. I hope this girl does not work here anymore. Annoyed I had to drive 20 mins to go in again to cancel. The white lady who helped me was very nice and even showed me on the screen its been cancelled and gave me a copy of the cancellation. read more

I was hoping for a smooth visit as this was my first experience at a chiropractor, but unfortunately it was not. I arrived on time for my SCHEDULED appointment, filled out the intake forms in about 5 minutes and was told the chiropractor would be right with me. Still, I waited (30 minutes) while several people who came in after me were seen first. When I asked about the delay, I was told there were still clients ahead of me. I explained I had another appointment and would've appreciated better communication upfront or during. I asked why my appointment was so delayed and she didn't give an answer ended up leaving without being seen. I understand things get busy but clearer communication and a little courtesy would have gone a long way. read more

This place has great chiropractic doctors, my preference is Dr. Bryan Kao for his precise and effective adjustments. Doctors also provide advice on how to stretch, and what to do/not to do so you can start feeling better. You can buy a monthly subscription or a set number of sessions. I really enjoy coming here. Dr. Scott & Dr. Bryan is super nice. I love how I can just walk in and not need an appointment. I think it's a great deal if you do the $79/month for 4 adjustments. They accept HSA but no insurance. No biggie for me! The only thing I think they can probably improve on its not BLASTING the AC. It's always FREEZING in the lobby. This place has quite a few good doctors. Some are really careful. One is very strong, which I like because my muscles tend to be tight.

I recommend getting adjusted by Dr. Bryan Kao! The adjustment was quick and effective. I have mid-back and neck tension plus a pinched nerve in my lower L hip because of my stature and healthcare work. Officially became a member of The Joint Chiropractic on August 6, 2020: I was a client of another private practice for a while but my insurance no longer extended coverage for out-of-network providers so I was on the market for affordable (and effective) chiropractic care. My friend introduced me to these guys and I was impressed with their membership model. I "tested" out the care and quality of the team here and became a member the same day. Dr. Scott and Dr. Bryan are knowledgeable, easy to work with, and offer fantastic adjustments. Like many people out there, I'm working from home full time so have been cooped up in the corner of my spare bedroom. Naturally -- my set up calls for increased neck and shoulder soreness, muscle aches, and back pains. I've received four adjustments to date, and already feel the difference and improvement. These guys rock. Both docs have different hours so find their schedule attached to my review. Finally -- can't wrap up this review without giving a shoutout to my girl, Christine, who holds down the front of the house. Although she has to multitask by juggling phones, greeting clients, and working through membership packets -- she does it all with a smile while maintaining a positive attitude. Dr. Brian is top 2 the only other chiropractor on his level costs $100 per adjustment. You cannot go wrong as long as you come to him! I started to go to the Joint since my friend recommended me here for Dr. Bryan last month. He always made me feel welcome whenever I see him & always leave me feeling better! For first-timers, the session was 29$, but after It would be around 49$ for each visit. They recommended me to come here twice a week since my neck & back were really stiff. I chose the 89$ a month plan, which comes with 4 session + 3 extra visit for first timers. They also have a plan for 20$ a month. This plan will be great for people that don't have time to go every week & just pay an addition 20$ for each visit along with the 20$ month plan. read more

Came over yesterday. This review is reviewing their system in overbooking. I had an appointment for a first time client and when I got there they told me that they were overbooked. Even with a reservation. Im quite disappointed. They did apologized however they did not make it better. They did not make a new reservation nor did they offer anytime to justify my time driving to this location. They fail to make me feel like a customer instead of another number to generate as much money as quickly as possible. The doctors here may be the best or not. Their plan may be the best or not but when it comes to customer service they have failed. read more

Dr Bryan is amazing! This was my first time having chiropractic work and I have gone back regularly to see him. He walked me through my first appointment and made su[er comfortable and that I was good hands. I was pretty nervous about being cracked the first time, but it is not painful at all. I really appreciate how Dr Bryan talks to me every time I visit because it helps calm my nerves. Even though I know it does not hurt or anything, I am naturally an anxious person so its nice to have a doctor that is super friendly to make you feel so comfortable when you are going in for an appointment. I will say you cant make an appointment in advance, it is a walk-in based clinic. But you can always call ahead to see if the doctor you want to see if working that day. read more

Absolutely terrible customer service. They advertise on their website walk ins welcome. I go in and the guy at the counter, I didn't get his name but a younger Indian guy tells me walk ins are not their policy. I pull on the website where it says walk ins welcome and he said, I don't know what to tell you but that's not our policy and I don't write what our website says. I go to another location of the same company and the girl at the counter there was very polite and said walk ins are welcome any time. I will be giving that location a good review because they were amazing and polite there but this location doesn't even follow the policy's they have on their website and basically just says, oh well. I wish I could leave this place 0 stars but well, since it's not possible, and also because I actually liked Dr. Scott, I am leaving 1 star. Dr. Scott is great and amazing (super friendly as well); however, the last 4 times I visited, I was unable to see him because 1. I got his schedule wrong the first 2 times since it's walk-in only and I wasn't aware that he doesn't work Mondays and Tuesday afternoons and 2. the last 2 times, he was out sick. During one of the appointments, I was adjusted by this female chiropractor who wasn't bad -- but she just did the basics and didn't adjust my right foot (even though that was a huge pain spot I pointed out). This was something Dr. Scott made sure to do each visit. The last visit, however, was the absolute worst and I regret making the decision to go into the clinic that day. I was seen by this other male doctor (since Dr. Scott was out sick) who did adjust my right foot, but in the process of doing so, he either pulled a ligament or twisted/sprained my ankle. I was left unable to walk for 3 days and had to use crutches since applying even the slightest pressure onto my foot made me want to cry. My mother took me to acupuncture for 2 weeks to get my ankle treated. Even to this day, I cannot apply firm pressure on my ankle without feeling pain and if I accidentally step on an unleveled field, the pain comes back. I had called Joint Chiropractic the day after my treatment to inform them of this issue, and the doctor said that he was actually worried this would happen since there was a huge release. I called back a few times and spoke with one of the receptionists to cancel my membership because I was so frustrated, and never got a follow up concerned message from any of the doctors until I posted this review. It was actually Dr. Scott who reached out and told me that he feels bad and wants to make things right (even though it wasn't his fault, it was the other doctor's fault). Interestingly, he also asked me in the voicemail if I could please update my Yelp review and mention that someone did try to reach out to make things right - but when I messaged him back, I never got a response. Sigh, oh well, definitely would not recommend coming here. read more

I've also been adjusted by the doctors there and they're fantastic in their own way. They do take extra precautions for COVID. I like that I have a selection of doctors there. I've wanted to sleep there from how well I get adjusted. The receptionist there is so sweet! I love this location so much, I told my family there and they signed up. Really friendly and professional staff, high quality chiropractic services, and very affordable flexible plans. Dr. Bryan is the guy to go to. Very professional and precise with his technique. This is my second time seeing him and every time I feel great, decompressed, focused, and relief. I also highly recommend Dr. Greene. His technique is great, I felt taller and like an uncompressed accordion right after I visited him. Shoutout to Dr. Le as well, I was worried that I wouldn't get a good adjustment from her since I am a bigger guy. But I was wrong, she cracked the heck out of me. These 3 doctors are amazing. I've never been to a chiropractor ever in my life and all I can say is I've been missing out big time. I've always had back problems ever since I played sports throughout school.
