Both Doctors are friendly, listen to your needs and go out of their way to help you heal. I've gone in for neck pain, lower back and shoulder injuries, and always walked out feeling better than when I walked in. The treatment usually includes 10-15 min of getting hooked up to a tens machine. If you're coming in for an injury, they'll work on you with an ultrasound machine, then the adjustment, and finally, you end the session with one of two massage machines. This review is incredibly long over-due as I first began seeing Dr. Lam & Dr. Tran almost two years ago now and truly, I would not be where I am without them! I had been experiencing really terrible neck, back, head pains for years after a car accident back in 2022 and finally decided to seek a chiropractor. Dr. Lam and Dr. Tran are the real deal!! Not only are they very skilled in their practice but they're also extremely friendly and caring, which is hard to find these days in local businesses. They treat everyone like family. I have been going here for many years and it's always a very good nostalgic feeling when I step foot in their cozy office. My friends and I originally came here when we first started attending college. To think that now Dr Lam's children are now attending college speaks of the relationship and trust I have with both doctors. We were originally in a significant rear end accident and Dr Lam and Tran nursed us back to full recovery. They did everything in their power to make sure we were comfortable and healed. Many years later, I injured my shoulder while "ego lifting" in the gym. You guys can probably guess who nursed me back to health.... Yep!! Dr. Lam did! Not only did I regain full mobility in my shoulder, I was able to set a new personal record at the gym!! I could sit here all day and praise them but you have to check them out to believe it! Dr. Lam is a miracle worker! After one visit my back and feet feel so much better. Everything I came in for was addressed, he educated me very well on how to take care of my ongoing heel pain, and he genuinely cares about his patients. I've been coming here for years and every time I go he treats me with the same tentative care. His rates are very affordable and worth every penny! They do accept with or without health insurance btw! So today I randomly called to see if I can just walk in. The receptionist was very nice and let me know I can come in after 4pm. Great! Idk any other doctors office that accepts walk ins other than urgent care. ‍ Experience: As soon as I walk in, Dr. Lam greets me right away with no wait time! He starts by asking about where I have pain and you can tell he genuinely CARES! First we did muscle and heat therapy which felt amazing. He explained in detail why my feet hurt. Gave me the best advice I've heard of which shoes to buy, insol recommendations AND he plays tennis so he was kind enough to give me two of his tennis balls to roll on for my feet. Then he adjusted my shoulders/upper back and neck. The session ends in a really good massage chair which is not like your typical massage chair. You can tell it's good quality, it massages you head to toe. Also FYI, his office is clean!!! His kindness & work ethic are unmatched. Every time I come here he takes great care of me and fixes the problem I came in for. Back story: I had a lot of tension in my shoulders and I injured my left heel. I have been going to a different place for physical therapy for "plantar fasciitis" for TWO MONTHS. Very little progress. I started coming here with my boyfriend Zi since May June? My biggest complaint for a very long time was that my left shoulder would feel very strained whenever I would do upperbody workouts and there would be a clicking that would occur followed by pain especially with lateral, rear and front raises. I had a left weak arm and a right weak leg which prevented me from going up in weight during my workout programs. I had been seeing a chiropractor for over 2+years that would tell me it was "not fixable" that I had accumulated scar tissue in my left shoulder and that I just had to live with it. He could never really figure out why my right leg was weaker other than tell me it was just muscle imbalance and to just do unilateral exercises to remedy it. Fast forward to today after many treatments from Dr.Lam my shoulder is slowly recovering. Dr.Lam is very thorough in his assesment and he explains what the problem is and how he will treat it as well as how often he feels you should come in .i thought i would never recover because of how old my injuries were but he let me know that it is possible to recover mobility in my shoulder with no pain. He has been using ultrasound therapy on the scar tissue on my shoulder and my shoulder has come quite a long way from once I 1st came in! It's honestly such a blessing! We still have work to do but I am pretty confident that with continued treatments as well as slow increased strength training my shoulder will make a full recovery! As for my weak right leg, turns out I had a sprained ankle that I never really knew about until he touched it gently and it was a 15/10 pain! With weekly or bi-weekly treatments and strengthening of the lateral stabilizing muscles I should also be able to recover aswell. This has been a much slower process but again, I have seen improvements since I 1st came in so although this may take a bit longer, I have faith that I will also recover from this. It sucks that my body has been out of alignment for so long and I felt like there was no way it would ever feel balanced again, but better late than never. I was referred to Lam & Tran Chiropractic by a friend of mine. I was experiencing lower and upper back pain after giving birth, so I wanted to seek chiropractic care to help relieve that pain. It was my first time going to a chiropractor so I was nervous because I didn't know what to expect. Dr. Lam throughly explained everything before he began so there were no surprises. I don't know why but I was nervous about the adjustments being painful, but they were not at all. He was so gentle and quick, I felt nothing but relief after every visit. He also does muscle stimulation therapy and ultrasound therapy which helped tremendously with my back pain. When you think chiropractor you assume it's just adjustments, but there's so much more to it and it's very beneficial. I absolutely enjoyed all my visits with Dr. Lam and Dr. Tran. They are both so nice and pleasant, and extremely caring. You can tell they truly enjoy what they do. They are also very flexible with scheduling and accommodating.
