My car was totaled in a t-bone car accident in September and I have been in Dr. Tran's care since. After the accident, I was in so much pain and aching all over, barely able to be upright and walking, but with my weekly visits, am hopeful that my stiffness, aches, and pains will improve with his treatment. Dr. Tran takes the time to get to explain everything to his patients, which is something I truly appreciate. Sometimes doctors assume patients don't understand, so they don't take the time giving explanations. He is also flexible and works with your schedule so that you can make it to his office. I really appreciate their flexibility because after the stress of being in an accident, stressing about missing work to rush to your weekly appointments is just not something you want to add to your already full plate of things to do. I first started treatment with Dr.Tran in 2016 after my motorcycle accident. I was referred by my attorney and I couldn't be more grateful. Within a few weeks Dr.Tran had my back spasms under control and the pain was manageable. After receiving treatment 3-4 times a week for 4 months Dr.Tran released me and I was feeling great. Fast forward to 2023 I started experiencing sciatic nerve pain that would shoot down both legs as a residual side effect from the motorcycle accident. My back pain was unbearable. I was unable to think anything else but to get better. I thought I found the perfect, honest, and good doctor. But no, the experience was more terrible than bones breaking and bone cancer. Professionalism goes a long way. The staff such as the receptionist and the intern are good. They are not part of this review. Both men are professional and they did not give me the "creeps". On the other hand, the "doctor" was the first ever doctor I have seen and met who speaks unprofessionally like he is speaking to a patient who is uneducated. Make sure you know what your insurance covers if ever you choose to be seen here. If you are told to remove your mask, don't. Why would a "doctor" say that if he's well aware that the space is open with other patients around. If you feel there's something not right or odd, believe your gut and just be seen by someone else. Check other chiropractors in your network. If this doctor starts asking you questions not related at all to your treatment such as if you or your boyfriend are living together, how long have you been dating, and/or if you're asked if your significant other is Vietnamese? Those are red flags. It's double red flags if you're told that, "Good you're not dating those Chinese or Filipinos". That is not professional at all plus someone in the right mind would not even initiate that kind of conversation. Anyways, just be aware. Back in Oct last year my wife suddenly had an onset of inflammatory shoulder pain and, even more dangerously, a tingling, numbing, biting sensation in the arms. Our PCP ordered MRI, Xray... the works, and sent her to a neurosurgeon. After reviewing the MRI/Xray, the surgeon found degenerative disks between her C5, C6, C7 and recommended immediate surgery. She would need to do more blood test the following day and go on the operating table in 3 days... We were given a brief explanation: That the vertebrates are collapsing on the disks, that the neck leans too much forward, which pinched nerve and caused constant pain, that if not operated on immediately would be life-threatening and paralysis-inducing at best. We were not allowed to postpone the op to seek a second opinion. It's that set date or never come back to him... So, we had a few hrs to decide on an event that could change our lives forever. We came to Dr. Thuy Tran... who saw us the next day and immediately looked at the MCI (he's also an expert in MRI evaluating) and other reports. Dr. Thuy not just explained my wife's condition in details, he showed us the opinion and video of the whole diagnostic from the web communities. He pointed out the steps of the would-be operation, the normal neck angle of people vs my wife's. With confidence and in firm voice, Dr. Thuy said my wife's operation at this point is unnecessary, he'd seen worst MRIs that passed through his desk, that he had the knowledge and tools which could help her correcting the neck angle and proposed a therapy program. We took the program he offered, 3 mths later, the situation has improved 90%... when the treatments were completed he offered a stretching tool which we use on a daily basis for maintenance. I'm not saying Dr. Thuy is better than a neurosurgeon, but he treated us with compassion, respected us with everything laid out on the table for such an important decision. Prior going to see Dr. Tran, I been having severe pain on my right arm for over half a year. Since I weight trained, I assumed that it was due to minor torn on my elbow. But I started to worry when my pain kept getting worse by the days. I could barely hold anything with my right arm without it being super painful. I decided to go see dr. Tran when the pain start to bother me in my sleep. I'm so glad that I went to see him before it got out of hand. Dr. Tran took and x-ray for me and informed me that I had tennis elbow. The tendon on my right elbow were torn. He came up with a treatment plan for me and the aftercare. He didn't rush me or made me felt pressure to get treatments with him. He told me to go home to think about it which made me felt comfortable that he is sincere in what he does. Viola, a month and 8 treaments later, I was pain free. I was able to sleep through the night after the first treatment and carry light items.
