A workplace injury to my rotator cuff is what brought me here and 3 days a week are required. According to when I started that means I had to come on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Driving there Friday, I felt pretty fried. There was stiffness and pain from working to strengthen this area that I had been going out of my way to not use for fear of making bad matters worse. I didn't think I would be able to do anything that day at physical therapy, as I slowly got out of my car and drug myself inside. Explaining the place where I was physically to the new face that greeted me when I walked in and introduced himself soon after, things quickly got underway. What followed was the best thing I have felt in forever, it seems. My arm felt amazing almost like I could have drifted off to sleep if I wasn't moving. By the end of my session I was literally amazed. I felt like I was leaving a massage parlor instead of physical therapy. He got really it. He understood where I was and met me there, he still worked to strengthen the muscle all while somehow soothing me in the process. I floated out to my car in utter amazement. I believe his name was Jamal, I will update this if I am remembering that incorrectly. Honestly, they all are so kind and sure of themselves and their ability to get the job done. From the beautiful young lady at the front desk to all the encouraging professionals that I have met thus far. I appreciate you all. I had taken PT in 2021 and my therapist then was amazing. She was very informative, concerned, and overall a welcoming therapist. I had to fill with Paul one morning because she was not available. After that visit I never went back. I felt violated as a patient. I just took what she taught me, and finished at home. Fast forward to 2025 when I walked in and saw he was my therapist, I cringed a little, but I decided to give it a second try, because I do believe people can change. I was SO WRONG. Never felt so belittled in my life. He was rude, demeaning, and made inappropriate derogatory comments. If you have therapy scheduled with Paul, especially, if you are a woman of color, PLEASE PLEASE see someone else, or go to another location.

I was a new patient and they got me in same day. The Dr was very friendly and asked me how I prefer to be adjusted and what I don't like which was nice. Why am I giving 2 stars? The Dr was very nice but seemed rushed. We didn't really talk about my issues and I got a VERY basic adjustment. It took about 5 minutes then he put electrodes on my back and left the room to see the next patient. After a while he came back in, took them off then said I was good to go. Then off to see next patient. As a 'new patient' they charged me $75 when regular patients only pay $45. Because of that, as a new patient, I expected something more. There wasn't anything more than anyone else that came in. In my total of about 20 minutes being there (sitting in waiting room, adjustment and electrodes), he probably saw 5-7 patients. My regular chiro (and the one before him where I used to live), puts the electrodes on or does other treatments first to relax my muscles before adjusting, which makes more sense. And then he actually sits with me for a few minutes to discuss what is going on. He really listens. His adjustment is a lot more thorough. Then he asks me to get up and walk around to see how I feel. He measures my legs to make sure I'm even. He takes the time to make sure I'm good before I leave. When I'm done, I feel great. Bottom line, I came into the office in a lot of pain with a lot going on. I paid $75 and the day after I'm still in pain and don't feel much different. Really disappointed

However, he spent time making sure my problems areas my neck, basically my entire spinal cord and hips were adjusted to his satisfaction. Then, Dr. Butch used a bit of electric stimulation. When I left, it was the first time I had walked and felt no pain in my hips in years. My neck and shoulders felt like the world had been lifted off of them. That takes a lot. The right side of my neck started to pop for the first time in years as well. I'm going to need an adjustment twice a week instead of once a week, if this keeps up.
