Shakey I agree Dr Simpson is amazing, and he does listen to what you have to say,and yes it Is busy at times ,But they have the best hours you could ever find, The staff is not Rude and Dr Simpson Does listen to what you have to say, Most Chiropractors work 4 day's a week, The Joint is open 7 days a week what more could you ask for. This place is down right Amazing! Every time I have a sore muscle or my Lower back hurts I go in here and they help me out every time I never leave unsatisfied! Highly recommend, Dr. Simpson is exceptional, no wonder the waiting room is so packed. I've seen chiropractors on a regular basis for the past thirteen years. I have had regular (weekly) chiropractor care for 20+ years, after having a major car accident that damaged my neck permanently. I find that regular maintenance keeps me feeling great, and irregular maintenance eventually results in major pain. Until recently, I have not lived near a The Joint location, so have visited The Joint locations only when traveling for work or pleasure, which had been 20-30 visits. I went to this location in Alliance after recently moving to the area. When my 11 year old son and I saw Dr. Ellis, we were impressed by his "gentler than the average The Joint Chiropractic adjustment", so I signed up for a membership for both of us, and called my husband to tell him he HAS to go here and see Dr. Ellis. Three days later, hubby and I go to Dr. Ellis. I reminded him that I prefer "finesse not force" as an adjustment, the same phrase I used when meeting him a few days prior, and then he proceeded to give me the most forceful, painful adjustment I have ever had in my life. After one move, I told him he needed to lighten up because that hurt, and the next manipulation was even more severe. He told me I was really tight and he needed to use a bit more force to get me to move. Now, I have gone to some really great chiropractors on a weekly basis for the past 20 years. I have never in my life had a chiropractor force an adjustment. If I was too tight, they always, always do what they can do gently, then wait for the muscles to relax over a few days and get a better adjustment with each following visit, so I was stunned when he explained that using force would be beneficial. Next up, hubby. He's a muscular guy. Dr. Ellis commented on that fact, and told him, "you gave me a workout! It can be hard to adjust someone with such a muscular back." Long story short, that poor man was in tears within an hour, thanks to his forceful adjustment. His muscles began spasming within minutes, and he refused to go back to see a different doctor for help. I, on the other hand, went back the next day to see Dr. Tankersley. I told him about our experience, and how my neck was now spasming and I had lost a great deal of movement, and he commented that Dr. Ellis could be a little rough. Understatement of the year. That visit, Dr. Tankersley was very gentle and the adjustment provided some relief. Two days later I returned to Dr. Tankersley and reminded him of my situation (it seems that they see so many patients that they are not familiar with you when you return), and then he gave me a not gentle at all adjustment that had me in more pain as I left. That's it. I was done. Never returning again. I found a much better chiropractor the next day, and he was not shocked when I told him our experience. He said he has quite a few patients who have had a similar experience at this location. I honestly can not recommend these doctors, and I was so certain that I had found the perfect chiropractor near our new home after my first visit with my son. read more

All over their website are the words no appointments necessary walk-in whenever! So imagine arrive as a new patient and was turned away for arriving 45 minuets prior to closing stating that they do not accept new patients with less than an hour until close. I wish that information has been available on the website as I would not of made the trip. Honestly won't be back. read more

Miracle workers! I slipped a disc in the lower lumbar region and was crippled by the intense pain, after two visits in six days the pain is gone! I can now start my running regiment again, I will make regular visits from now on. They gave me my life back. read more

Dr Simpson is amazing. He listens to what you have to say, and even in a busy clinic, he makes sure not to rush through your treatment. I've suffered with headaches and jaw pain for as long as I can remember. After seeing him for just a few visits I rarely have headaches and my jaw pain is way better. I will continue to go see him and his staff. Yes, the clinic can be busy. But I've never had to wait a long time to be seen. I won't between 5 and 6 pm, when it seems the busiest. I go during the day and am usually in and out quickly. read more

Great place. I suggest going more than one time. If your out, getting corrected one time will not get it done and Docs. Can't get everything in one try. I will keep going every week as my job keeps my back screwed up and migraines, usually sore after but migraines gone and feel better. read more

I started going to the joint in September 2014 for an ongoing problem with my shoulder, neck, and clavicle. All the doctors seemed very knowledgeable and the price was certainly a factor in my decision to go there. I had multiple adjustments over the next couple of months with no results. Finally, I started a new job where I was required to carry a tool bag that seemed to strengthen those muscles affected and the pain just went away, (except for the clavicle area). I continued to go when I would get headaches which the adjustments did seem to help. In March 2015, the shoulder and neck thing came back along with a numbing in my thumb all the way up my forearm but the adjustments again did not help. One of the doctors suggested trigger point massage. I did that with amazing results only to find the pain relief went away within an hour. I tried again and went strait to the chiropractor to try and get an adjustment to possibly hold the relief from the massage but, if anything, it got worse after being thrashed around on the table. Out of desperation, I asked one of the doctors about using kt tape, as it worked a few years ago for the same problem. He said bring the tape in and he would do it. I came in that following Saturday to a huge crowd in the waiting room. I waited my turn, got adjusted and the female doctor (don't know her name) said she knew how to use the tape. She took me into the back room to tape me up. I told her, the time before, the doctor had to really put a lot of support in the taping to hold most of the weight of my shoulder up. She claimed she knew what she was doing and if I didn't like it, she would do it my way. Her tape job felt like there was absolutely no support. I left for a couple hours and came back to have her redo the tape. I was not surprised to see another huge crowd waiting. I told the front desk girl what the doctor had said and she said she could probably sneak me in since I had already had to wait the first time. That female doctor said I had to wait in line. This was the final straw. I have been coming here for months with no progress except for the occasional headaches. I have listened to their suggestions and given them more details to help them diagnose and treat than I ever had to give any doctor. I told her specifically that I needed more support from the tape but she had to do it her way and then when I came back, forget customer service or professional integrity, make him wait?? I've lost count of how much money I have spent here for next to nothing in return. What a scam. This is just the "fast food" version of the chiropractic world. They have lower prices but make up for it in volume from people who just can't afford regular chiropractors. Even the female doctor who taped me said corporate didn't want them to use the tape. They just want as many customers in and out as possible. I will be seeking some other treatment and never go back there. read more
