I'm a three year veteran at the Joint and I've followed Dr. Cooper to the Eastern location (need I say more?!). I've had to pleasure of getting to know him in my weekly visits and you'll love him!! Not to mention he keeps my neck spasms at bay and I can actually move my head with no pain! They just updated their hours, opening at 9am which I LOVE, it works way better with my school drop off schedule!! I arrived at 1:25pm, I was asked for my phone number and told that I am not currently on a plan and that my paperwork had to be updated. I said that's fine. Then she said they were closing in 15 minutes for lunch and would not be able to see me and asked if I could come back. I live 30 minutes from here and was just trying to stop by for a quick adjustment on my way to work from another appointment. So I didn't want to drive all the way back. After having a few aches and pains from regular Mom life, I decided to do something for me and have an adjustment. They have a $29 first time special which is what lured me in. That first adjustment felt great and I decided to purchase one of their plans. Fast forward a few visits. I've seen a certain doctor twice now and I'm just not fond of him. I'm terrible with names, but if you've had him, you probably know who he is. He's not personable at all. He doesn't ask if there's anything bothering. He just kind of does his thing, and says "ok that's it for now." Like uh, ok, but you didn't even ask me if anything was aching nor were my hips cracked, which is my favorite part. After seeing him this last visit, I totally felt gypped out of a visit/money. I was actually really upset after I left because I rarely have free time to myself and that time was wasted on this poor excuse of a visit. I've seen another doctor, again terrible with names, and he was awesome. He was very thorough and was constantly asking if I was feeling better after each adjustment. There's another location not too far from me. So I think I'll try that location next time. I'm not going to chance my visit on that one doctor again and have my visit wasted. read more

Bring back the former receptionist Nyla if she still works for the company because this person gave me the nastiest look. No greeting, I asked if a certain chiropractor was working and with a very flat unfriendly tone, she responds "Dr. Chin." Also she was not following protocol. She let me scan in without taking my temperature, unlike every other The Joint Chiropractor from Rampart, Warm Springs and Blue Diamond. If you aren't smart enough to check your attitude, this is an open place to where I can hear the receptionist being more friendly and attentive when two women came in when Dr. Chin was doing my adjustment. I won't say the race of the two but please, I really have to ask are you that daft when I can hear you being more bubbly and laughing wth the two women who were signing up for a monthly subscription. I work in hospitality and yes the business was closing in 40 minutes, but I'd rather hear your fake "hospitality voice" than looking at me with your fist resting on your chin with a very nasty negative vibe. I found her on Google and chose her because of her reviews and their rates were just as much as my copay, if not less!! She is very thorough and explained to us as to why he's getting all this pain. Unfortunately, I am someone that has severe back pain from an old car accident 30 years ago. Since then I've needed chiropractic health in my life regularly. Six months ago my regular chiropractor, retired and I was on the mad search for someone that could really help my body. I've seen many chiropractors in the Las Vegas area, hoping to find the right person that can adjust my complicated body. Waste of time and money. Came in for the initial visit ($29 promo) with very low expectations and still got disappointed. First of all, the receptionist, Ken, was very friendly and courteous. The only positive experience from this joint. Checkin with driver license and was asked to fill out ~7 forms which takes the majority of time. Got called in and asked a couple of standard questions. When was the last time you had treatment? What brings you in today? Literally less than a min of so call consultation session. Then she started the examination session by tapping here and there and asking how does that feel. Literally another min went by. Lastly comes the treatment. Got my neck cracked to the left and right. Got both side of my body cracked while laying down. Was told to sit up in a commanding voice, then got my back cracked. Then asked me if I feel any better. That's the end of the session. Literally another 3 mins so the entire session lasted about 5 mins. They keep saying that this is a long term thing. As time goes by and with more sessions, you will feel more improvement. Of course it takes time when each session only consists of a couple of taps under 5 mins. I'm going to go see a real chiropractor who will work on me in details for about 30-60 mins. read more

I visited this location after injuring myself from exercise. I was in a lot of pain. The adjustment brought minimal temporary improvement, but the way I was treated has stayed with me. I was shocked at the way this provider talked to me and put me down. She gave me no instructions for home care and took no interest in any care planning, but forced me to buy a package claiming her concerns about her liability of treating me without any follow ups with another chiro at home. In hindsight, I can see how cold and manipulative this was, but I was in pain, and overwhelmed at the time. She said things about my body, critically and loudly in front of others to the tune of "look at you, you're a mess". She yelled "I mean, you have a hump!" She told me that she wasn't sure that I could even repair the damage to my back. Her tone and word choice were so bizarrely critical and lacking in compassion, as if my self care neglect had been delivered to her as a punishment of some kind. I visited another joint location at home reluctantly, convinced this is how I'd be treated. I was so appreciative for the kind and compassionate care I received. I had home exercises in my email before I even got home, and they helped. He gave me encouragement that it was possible to improve my back. While in pain, imagining it wasn't fixable had been excruciating. I never take the time to do a review, but this woman treated me so badly, and didn't take the time to help me in the ways I needed and she could have. read more

Dr. Garlick, Dr. Brim, Dr. Chen, and Dr. Easton are all amazing at what they do. Every time I come in, there's a wait that can last from 15-45 minutes and seeing that people love these doctors they're willing to wait! Every time I leave the Joint, I leave happy and feeling better than when I walked in. I usually have mid-low back problems because of the stress I put on my body from work and working out. But getting a membership here has been such a positive addition to my lifestyle. Front desk ladies are always friendly and have welcoming smiles. This was my first visit to The Joint and my first traditional chiropractic visit as well. Overall, the experience was pleasant and expedited, but they still took the time to explain everything and make me feel comfortable. The treatment plan is much more affordable than other options and they even gave me a complimentary visit to ensure I am able to start off the treatment plan on the right foot. The office was open a very relaxing place to be in. So far I would definitely recommend visiting The Joint and especially this location on Eastern and Richmar. My visits with Dr. Garlick were 5 star - the best. Then he left to run his own practice. Now, the chiropractors there are hit or miss with my adjustment. The Asian chiropractor never gives me a good adjustment. I always ask him if he can do particular techniques, since I'm familiar with what my body needs, and he refuses because "he's not comfortable doing so." Fair enough, but I have reason to believe he does as little as possible in an attempt to get patients to come back. Ask for the other chiropractor or go to another location. read more

I highly recommend this business however, I do not recommend Dr. Cook. This Dr. does not care about what you verbally say is wrong with you. All he cares about is what he can find wrong with you so he doesn't care about your verbal symptoms. I highly do not recommend this this particular doctor because of his bedside manner is terrible. Choose one of the other chiropractors in this business as the joint is actually very good and I highly recommend the business it's all just not this doctor. The joint was gladly willing to give me a credit back for my visit. It boils down to please have compassion for those you adjust and never assume that they feel listen to how they feel and adjust accordingly. read more

I love going to the Joint. I feel like the doctors listen to me, help me pinpoint my problem areas, and find the best ways to help release the tension and align my spine better. Dr. Julie is phenomenal, I always feel so much better when I leave and I feel like my results last, especially when I add in stretches at home. I worked with dr M I told her I have a lower back issue on my right side. It didn't really crack. Her table kept rising in the middle (while I'm on my stomach for a back crack) and the table kept rising as she pushed. It wasn't helpful. The table was the issue as an experienced adjusted person for many years in LA. She was so sweet, but I didn't feel any different when leaving. They use "tapping and scraping tools" which don't do shit but tell them the problem you already know you have it's just fancy and not needed. I just felt "on your in for 5 minutes". It wasn't as good as I've had. I'll cancel my next month one visit for $79. Not worth it. This place isn't a real chiropractics office more like a check in check out goodbye. Not coming back. Dr Garlic is the only chiropracter out of 8 chiropracter's in Las Vegas area, that worked on my hip, which I had bursitis in. I now can walk without limping, it doesn't hurt now. I can't believe it because I had been having problem for years. No other chiropracter has helped me like Dr Garlic has.
