Let me begin with the bottom line. I would highly recommend Artin Gholian of Jordan Law Group to anyone (fighting their HOA) without reservation. In fact, I have already. While HOAs in California have a lot of authority, unfortunately it often results in abuses of that power and the use of the HOA to settle personal scores. My husband and I had been fighting with our HOA over 2 years. I finally sought the counsel of Mr. Gholian this fall. He gave me the most in depth consult I've ever had. I consulted with Art regarding a non-disclosure case related to a home purchase I made. Art was very knowledgeable and assisted me with writing a demand letter to the people who sold me the property. Art was honest with me regarding costs that would be involved with hiring a lawyer for my case and the possibility of recovering my losses. (My damages were in the $16,000 range).
