Today is my birthday but I had to take the time to write this about Juicy Crab in Conyers. After 20 minutes of eating at Juicy Crab, I threw all of it up that meant that the seafood was bad. I asked if I could have a discount from the manager but was denied. He was very dismissive and rude when he said it. I will never eat at this place again! I was then told that they don't give anyone a discount but they will offer to make my food again. This is not how you treat your customer! Plus, no one would give me the manager's full name. They just said he goes by the name JJ. Then I called the corporate office which is supposed to be in Alpharetta but coincidently I heard the phone ringing in the back office. So just to make sure, I called again and the same thing happened. That meant they linked the corporate number to the Conyers location to avoid any consequences. read more

Being from New Orleans, it is tough to order and rate seafood in other states. I arrived at the Juicy Crab and sat at the bar. The service was excellent! I ordered a Combo 5. It comes with half a pound of crawfish, half a pound of shrimp without the heads, half a pound of sausage, one corn, and one potato. I ordered the combo with the Juicy Special seasoning, mild. The seasoning was delicious! I enjoyed the shrimp, corn, and potato. They were flavorful and tasty! I could have done without the crawfish and sausage. Overall, I had a good experience at Juicy Crab and I will be back to try their fried foods and cocktails. read more

My husband and I took our little niece here on Saturday, 4-6-2024, b/c she wanted some crab legs! First, I was quite shocked that it wasn't packed (like it usually is, especially on a Sat.) and we were seated as soon as we walked in! YAAY! We all ordered the seafood boil in a bag. I sent my son to do a takeout order yesterday, February 22, 2025. Everything in the order was subpar at best. The calamari had zero flavoring. The fried green beans were partially burnt. One order of breaded wings only had two flats instead of five and five. An additional order of wings which we ordered extra crispy, were not extra crispy and lacking flavor. Coming from Florida , Juicy crab was one of my favorite restaurants In Georgia. However, after yesterday's experience, I don't think I'll be going back. DISAPPOINTING!! I tried to call a little while ago to speak with the manager regarding my experience. The person who answered clearly didn't want to transfer me to the manager and asked if there's any way that he could help. I told him about how all the food in the order was not cooked to order. He put me on hold as if he was going to transfer me to the Manager, then came back after less than one minute saying that the Manager, Mr. JJ wasn't there and would not be in until 3 PM (well it's 12:30 PM). One of the best places in the area to get a bag full of the sea's best crustaceans. The Juicy Special seasoning and the lemon pepper extra hot are my favorites. This place seems to have a spicier, saltier seasoning then say the one in Snellville. They have affordable lunch specials you can get to try most things. I have enjoyed the clams, black. Mussels, green mussels, crab leg clusters, shrimp with or without the head on and the lobster tail. I enjoy sitting at the bar here so I can talk to some of the other patrons. The music is nice, the people are friendly, and the professional staff can make a nice cocktail. The bar tender is especially nice and keeps the bar clean. read more

I am writing to you to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at Juicy Crab-Conyers last night. My experience was far from satisfactory, and I feel it necessary to bring it to everyone's attention that they have intentions on patronizing this establishment. I'm very disappointed in the Juicy Crab-Conyers to say the least. I placed an order online and headed out for the 20 minute drive. Prior to departing the online confirmation showed the item being ready for pickup 7:40 PM - 7:50 PM (ample time there). I arrived at 7:45pm with a text showing "your order is ready for pickup". I entered the pick-up area, gave my name, and requested my order and was told it's not ready and it will be 5-10 additional minutes. As I patiently waited I witnessed sub-par transactions and lack of decent customer interactions; while several doordash orders were picked-up. After about 15 minutes, I asked for the status and was told it would be about another 20 minutes. I expressed that I had already waited 15 minutes and the staff member appeared as if he had no idea that I've been standing in front of him this entire time. At this point, I was quite frustrated after hearing the manager arrive to tell the employees to place a hold on all orders for 40 minutes. Once I heard that, I shared with him what had transpired and questioned him about the status and that I received notification that my order was ready. He candidly said "Oh that goes out automatically, but that's never worked". He proceeded to tell me that the dining room area was full and there were a lot of orders. I told him the amount of time that I have waited and waiting an additional 45 minutes was unacceptable. In addition, the employee kept telling each person that came in that there was a wait of "5-10 minutes". Extremely false! He was curt and left the area stating he was going to check on the order, but never returned. The customer service was poor, the "manager/cook" wasn't apologetic nor empathized with me, he didn't present any type of resolution or accommodations for the inconvenience. What happened to the training on handling situations of this magnitude, certainly was not a pleasant experience from either staff member, especially when a paying customer is inconvenienced. It's essential that Juicy Crab create practical guidelines on how to handle customer complaints and that they train employees to implement them effectively. They continued to bring out bags, when I asked again if any of the orders belonged to me - a different staff member asked for my name for the 4th time. I gave her my full name and then all of a sudden I heard the young lady say "here it is" (towards the other employees). I was totally appalled, that it appears that my order was sitting there the entire time. The other employee attempted to claim differently. No apology or closing - just handed me the bag. Ridiculous that simple effort and service could have rectified this issue within minutes. To add insult to injury, once I got home the order was completely WRONG! Unbelievable. From what I already witnessed and experienced, no need in contacting them regarding the order mix-up. I knew who was manning the phones. I understand mistakes can happen, but this restaurant did not meet my expectations at all. I found the behavior of the staff to be quite unprofessional, with some of them being downright rude and unhelpful. Overall, my experience at Juicy Crab-Conyers restaurant was quite unpleasant, and I was very disappointed with the level of service I received. I hope that Juicy Crab-Conyers take this feedback constructively and make the necessary changes to ensure that other diners do not have to go through a similar and subpar experience in the future. TL;DR We'll be back! After a long day at the zoo, we needed a place for six adults and two kids (5, 1 years old) to eat on our way home. We walked in around 4:30pm and were immediately sat. The wait staff was kind, helpful, and friendly. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We split an order of hush puppies, which were extremely fresh and had whole pieces of corn in them. Should have gotten two orders! Our main courses included a variety of fried combos and boiled combos. Everyone had great things to say about their dishes. The bathroom was clean yet the faucets needed some fixing. The music was too loud for us, and we asked if it could be turned down. They said they would, but it was still pretty loud. read more

Did the cooks change, recipe, quality of products?!? We were extremely disappointed with our food. The sauce was very thin, almost watery, no flavor (it's normally red with an ample amount of garlic in bag.) The sausage...RAW! Note: The manager stated sausage is boiled; however, see pictures for yourself and make your own judgement. Our appetizer were the green beans; which were delicious and oysters that taste like they came straight out the sea, no prep or seasoning, just straight fishy, musty taste. We sent those back and the manager removed from our ticket. We actually spoke with the manager who offered to make it right by adding more sauce and apologizing. Thank you for that! Our server (I forget her name) was a sweet, professional and extremely accommodating young lady. On our way out we spotted the cook and asked what happened to our beloved Juicy Crab but he only pointed towards the kitchen - not sure about that response. Not bad but not the best. I ordered crab and shrimp. They make you pay for the crab cracker and they don't have little forks or anything to get all the meat out. You pay high dollar for this seafood but can't even get all of it out because you don't have the utensils. Our server was nice but at the end we were waiting around for our receipt and to-go bags etc. I had to have several workers go and get our server because she wasn't checking up on on us very much. Waited a while for refill drinks once our food was there. The girl has super long pink hair and long nails, she belongs at a salon of some sort- not a server job. I ordered the fried shrimp basket and a Sea Spice bag they came with crab shrimp legs, sausage, eggs corn and potatoes and it was delicious and fresh. The shrimp came out hot and fresh and they were a nice size shrimp not too much breading. The sea food bag was season just right and again fresh seafood. Went to the Juicy Crab on Sunday May 5th. We had a family of 5. I thought that the service was going to be great with the first interaction but unfortunately it wasn't the case. 4 out of 5 of our party ordered crab legs. Didn't receive any crab leg crackers. Requested them as a server or food runner was walking by. Server brought 1 pair out for 4 people to share. I asked for more but he said we were only allowed 1 pair per table. I would think that if you are spending upwards of $200 on a meal that you would all be able to get the necessary utensils to eat. We had dinner here last night--me, my sister, and my mother. I see what the hype is about. The catfish basket will make you slap somebody. The batter is rich and they fry it perfectly until it is golden-brown. Drip it in the tartar sauce, fam, and taste what heaven on earth is like. The popcorn shrimp are juicy as well, fried to perfection, and full of so much flavor. They do seafood right, and I've been told for a long time I needed to see why that crab is so juicy. This is our 2nd time eating here. Today is my hubby birthday so he chose this location. There are 3 or 4 in Atlanta. We both ordered the 3/4 lb shrimp/potatoes/sausage in the bag.
