The back room is amazing, a big rambling garage of real antiques, books, tin wear, furniture, glassware, kitch, and a DOLLAR SECTION. I have found so many amazing things in this section. I've often picked up an item and said "we can EBay this for like $40" and mom will reply, "yes but I have 47 cases of glassware to sell so ummm, give someone a thrill" and indeed, people will get super excited and find a gem. Local goat soaps, local raw honey, and local folk art are great additions to the antiques. New items inspired by antiques: Whimsical signs, vintage inspired decor for every holiday (especially Christmas!) metal chickens, hooks, candles, country, wreaths, rugs, tablecloths, pillows, curtains, lamps, small furniture, notepads, kitchen lighting, soap dispensers, dishcloths... In addition to the wide assortment of furniture, you'll also find some small locally made goods, like candles and hair accessories. This is a very small store, the items are placed so intentionally, so there is plenty of walking room, without the fear that you'll walk into anything. I really loved Cindarella's Attic, if you're looking for a special accent chair, or a dresser in a unique color this is the place to go.

She uses great colors, her prices are fair, and she gets some pretty quality pieces. So far we've bought a Thomasville french provincial dresser and a 1930's Art Deco vanity. She does have pretty nice costume jewelry (not really my thing I am a dude), paint for furniture, handmade soap and other assorted items (we got some pretty sweet porcelain door knobs too). We haven't attended one of her classes, but on Saturdays you can learn how to paint furniture (shabby chic style), and you leave with the piece you worked on. If you appreciate things like dovetailed drawers and actual wooden furniture check this place out.

I saw racks and racks of men's and women's clothing, shoes, accessories, footwear, household goods, dishes, and kitchen equipment in the front of the store. In the back of the store were CD's, record albums, thousands of books, collectibles and pretty much everything. I even saw three Pez dispensers with likenesses of former presidents. Much of the inventory is what I'd call vintage, which is a code word for "old". Those items may not be for everyone, but if you're into old dishes, bric a brac, dolls, China, wall hangings, glassware, jewelry, furniture, and lamps, well Favarh might just be what you're looking for. Today was 50% off day, and I scooped up two ties marked at $2 each for a grand total of $2.13. You might find a thrift store out there with better quality merchandise, but I'm not sure you'll find one with as much stuff as I saw here. And since their proceeds go to charity, it's well worth your time to check out their stock and see what bargains appeal to you.

The employees there are volunteers. Once I walked in, it looked like a boutique. Clothes, shoes, and cutlery/china were in the front area. Everything was organized by size and color. I immediately found a Vineyard Vines sweater that I loved for $12. They have sales based on color of the day/week; I would ask the employee for that information. In the back section, they had household items, books, and miscellaneous items. You can also sign up for their free rewards card; you gain points from every purchase and that adds up for future discounts. Overall, a great thrift store and I look forward to shopping there.
