I started to write this in 2022, and I am finishing it now. We love the free swim time here. The staff is super nice and helpful and you have the pool for your own pups. Wanted to keep this the best kept secret. One of our pups learned swimming here and he even did dive. He sadly passed due to the very aggressive cancer. This place is amazing. My dog tore her ACL a few years ago and was laboring to even hold herself up after surgery. They were very patient with us, and my dog's anxiety around people. My dog didn't let anyone touch her and still doesn't till this day lol. However they were able to give me clear and specific instructions to help her get back to her normal self. She's back on the mountain going multiple mile hikes and kicking butt!! We still go till this day for the water treadmill, and I tell all my friends and family about them! read more

Folks be very, very, very careful with this place your dog will be injured here! incompetent & uncaring staff their pool does not have a ramp, so it's not really a therapeutic pool I took my 3 dogs there, one of them being a tripod because he is a cancer survivor and they left completely terrified and traumatized. when I asked the attendant, if they had a pool ramp she brings me a ramp for a car and just drops it in front of me does not offer assistance so then I proceeded to do it on my own and try to put the ramp into the pool when she notifies me that its a ramp for a car! folks why would she be bringing me a ramp for a car if she sees me in waders and in the pool ! ‍ very bizarre behavior i left this place reeling ! the staff here is just uncaring & unattentive they don't greet you by your name when you walk in they don't ask if you are first time customer. when I walked in the door for the first time being my first day, they just basically told me it's do it yourself here, and offer no assistance. then when I asked for a refund, the owner tells me that she cannot refund my credit card. She has to send a check to my home which is pretty sketchy because I don't want anyone in this organization to know my address. I honestly think that this owners license needs to be investigated and may be revoked because their practices are very harmful and very disregarding of the customer. If my dogs did not get injured here, somebody else as will. You basically walk in and everybody's just sitting around drinking coffee and gossiping. The front desk person never even looked at me or asked if I needed anything nor greeted my dogs. This is a place for canines right? Does not feel like it at all. It was a complete shit show, and hell hole here. beware!!!! read more

We absolutely LOVE this place and especially Chelsea! She goes above and beyond to help our little Inu girl out with her bad back. We were told 2 years ago Inu would need surgery ... she was shaking because she was in so much pain and would drag her back feet. We consistently bring Inu here and she is back to running around like a wild woman that she is. We are so happy we found them! On top of that, Chelsea does such a great job making K9 a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Inu gets so excited to go! Whenever I tell her we are going to see Chelsea she gives me a head tilt and waits by the door....And then when we get there she pulls to go inside and wags her tail like crazy. The therapist who did my dog's assessment was great and very knowledgeable which is why I gave three stars. However, they weren't really practicing correct distancing for COVID and the worst part was that she didn't wait to warm up the water and when she went to put my dog in the 'cold' water, all this black dog hair started floating to the surface- my dog's fur is white. They don't even clean between each client!! I think it's disgusting, especially at the prices they are charging. YUCK!! I gave my dog a bath the moment I got home. read more

Tammy is without a doubt the absolute best thing that has happened to our fuzzy family. She's done PT for at least five of our dogs. She's taken them to a better quality of life that we didn't know was possible after difficult surgeries and injuries common to the Pomeranian breed. This place is amazing. The work that they do here changes lives. In December of 2017, my dog (Chelsee) was diagnosed with a partially torn ACL in her right knee and a completely torn left ACL. My vet knew that I couldn't afford the surgery right then, so she referred me to the K9 Body Shop. When I brought Chelsee there in January she couldn't even stand on her own and was in a lot of pain. Now, 6 months later, Chelsee is back to her old self again! She has no trouble getting around, her personality is back and she no longer needs surgery on her right knee. We have been going to the K9 body shop for a few years upon recommendation from our vet. Our senior dog enjoys swimming the most but everything they offer is done professionally with compassion and genuine concern for the welfare of your pet. Boston likes to greet everyone and give them a lick before he dives in and swims in circles for the entire 30 minutes. Physical therapy made a world of difference for my dog after two knee surgeries. The surgeries were a year apart on the same knee and after the second one I could see she had lost a lot of strength in that leg and needed a little something extra to fully heal. After a few months of the water treadmill I saw a huge improvement. My dog is feeling like her old self and so much happier! All of the staff at K9 Body Shop are fantastic, they understand all dog types and temperaments and make the experience for your dog very comfortable. She's improved so much that we're close to ending therapy but I would go back to them in a heartbeat if she needs more help. read more

My Lhasa Apso was born with severe hip dysplasia and arthritis, and has been on pain meds for the last five years, but he was getting worse. I take all my dogs to Tammy for one simple reason, they obviously feel better after they see her. And I recommend her to all my friends who have dogs. As a dog ages -- or if they are regular athletes -- they need physical therapy every bit as much as we do. But it's hard to find someone who can help a dog feel better in a noticeable way. Thankfully, some people just have that gift of healing and it's clear that Tammy does. She uses a few different hands-on methods to help my dogs' aches and pains go away. I can tell they love the way she makes them feel -- they race to greet her, happy and excited and settle right into their treatment, clearly feeling better as she works on them. Their movements are obviously more fluid and comfortable after a visit, so we make sure to visit on a regular schedule. Tammy also has a swimming pool and an underwater treadmill that I make use of whenever I feel that my dogs will benefit from some water therapy. We have brought our shepherd to see Tammy and her crew for the past 2+ years starting when I was frustrated with her lack of recovery after a chronic low back (and/or psoas) injury issue. Following extensive work with the water treadmill and hands-on work to release the tension in her low back our happy girl returned to being the playful dog she was before the injury. She's now 11 1/2 years old and we receive compliments from her veterinarian and her ophthalmologist about what great physical shape she's in and how good her back mobility looks compared to other old shepherds. And it's not just the household humans who think this treatment has been a miracle cure...after the initial two visits it was clear to me that Tammy's efforts were providing tangible benefit from the dog's perspective because our girl who doesn't like cuddling or touching became very excited and enthusiastic every time we went to see the K9 Body Shop crew. It's still true today that I can tell our girl we have an appointment with Tammy and I get a happy smile and enthusiastic wags. We go regularly for "tune-ups" and it's well worth the effort seeing how healthy it keeps our girl's spine. read more
