Dr. Rob has been taking care of both my dog and cat for probably about 4 or 5 years now. I moved down to Northwest Denver in 2022 but I still make the drive up to CCAPM when my pets need care because I trust Dr. Rob wholeheartedly! I have a special needs cat and a highly anxious dog, and I've found the services to be very affordable compared to other veterinary care that they've had in the past, whether it's regular maintenance or emergency appointments. Dr. Rob is very straightforward and does not sugarcoat things which I appreciate. I've always been able to get appointments either same-day or within a day or two when I've needed it, and the office has always been running on time when I've been. Please read the entire message. AVOID THIS PLACE! I'll never come back here again! All I wanted to do was leave a One Star review on Google without saying anything about my experience... since CCAPM keeps responding in their comments with my personal info and FALSE statements. Also, criticizing the lack of training, knowledge, and socialization I've done for my dog. When I read that then it starts to feel personal, especially with all the time and effort I've put into training her. I did take her to a trainer when she was younger as well. I've raised dogs, horses and cows my entire life! I know how to handle animals. Outside of this clinic she is very lovable and playful around people/animals. (Please see photos attach) You can see my dog playing with Kids and Horses! Now... I'll let the world decide... does she look poorly trained? I didn't fail at training my dog! I took all the appropriate measures. My dog is scared of this vet and I'm not surprised. They scare me as well. I agree 100% with all the other 1 star reviewers. If your animal looks terrified, then don't let them take your pet in the backroom. Please read the other review from Diana M. below on 5/14/24. Diana is right on the money about this place and the doctor! My dog is very terrified of this vet! That's because of the way they mishandled him. If you see a Young Puppy (a few months old) that's terrified of an unknown person then the solution is not to immediately put a muzzle on and drag them into the backroom! I didn't even get a choice in the matter they just went ahead and did it. They don't take the time or effort to make animals feel safe. Also, CCAPM really needs to ask for permission first before putting on a muzzle and dragging your animal away. My dog was traumatized for a long time! I had to find and PAY a trainer to help my dog conquer his fear aggression. Luckily after months of proper training and socializing he has come out of that fear stage. However, anytime we went back to CCAPM my dog was still terrified! CCAPM will keep blaming you for the animal's behavior and say, "you need to do a better job at socializing and training your animal". Excuse me... he's only afraid because of you people! He plays very well with my kids, neighbors, PetSmart staff, strangers and other animals! I got so sick of the doctor here. NEVER COMING BACK! Over the last year... I've moved downtown and go to "The Center for Animal Wellness". Friendly and very professional! Best of all they took the time and energy to make my dog feel safe. He doesn't show signs of fear and likes them. If you truly care about your animal, then take them to a different vet before they get traumatized! CCAPM doesn't know how to handle dogs with fear aggression. I love Dr. Landry at Veterinary Care Center (720) 502-5823. He really cares about animals & is great with them. He is also very affordably priced. Unfortunately my little fur baby had to have bilateral knee surgery. He did a great job & knew how worried I was so sent me videos showing her progress after surgery & physical therapy that brought much relief. My little Pomeranian went from dragging her lower body to joyfully running around with her sisters. I'm so thankful to Dr. Landry for giving her the ability to be the happy little girl that she is who loves to play & run. I was worried about how much it would cost & he was on the low end of average cost. Others were thousands more. My fur babies are my children & I will do what it takes for them but if I can get great care & not break the bank I am very appreciative. Even the annual check ups are less than other vets I used in the past. I know everyone has their own experiences & you have to weigh out reviews. My fur babies are my world & I have had nothing but good experiences & great customer service from Dr.Landry. I appreciate his expertise, communication & how well he has taken care of all my little babies including my senior fur baby who is in great shape for a 13 year old. Dr. Landry saved my kids life. Plain and simple. My dog (my child) jumped out of my truck window while we were going about 40mph bc she saw horses in the field, and her front leg basically ripped off. The first thing I did was call his office (screaming in terror) telling them I was on my way. Thank God Dr Landry is my family vet and has known my dog since she was a puppy. I took her into his office often as a pup to just hang out and train so she wasn't scared to go through the doors when actual check up time comes. Dr. Landry and Rosie immediately took her to the back and started working. She no longer has a front leg, but she is here with us. They gave her the life saving support that was needed immediately and I firmly believe that is why she is still with us. I ended up transferring her down to a large ER Animal hospital in Englewood as they had blood on standby if she needed it during her leg amputation surgery. Dr. Landry was honest and stated he could and would do the surgery but if she needed blood, he didn't have it on hand. Thankful for his honesty. Once she was transferred to the ER hospital, Dr. Landry called and texted often to help guide me through the process and coach me on how to get the best care out of the other animal hospital my dog was at. He even had his vet tech, Rosie, ride with us to ensure my dog was stable for the ride over. THAT was a huge blessing- Thank you Rosie! I have spoken to him everyday since the accident (8 days so far) through text/calls/sending videos of her so he can monitor her and help me. He is an expert Dr in his line of work and knows his craft of animals so well, I wouldn't second guess him. He is straight to the point, no BS, and is a busy, busy man! He has worked on 3 of my cats as well (we had to put down our black cat due to cancer) and he has done a spay on our new rescue kitty Copper and helped get my little fat kitty Mali, down in weight so she can live a longer, healthier life. He also removed some of Mali's teeth- get regular dentals done on your pets folks! Don't wait until they're older and the teeth are infected! Dr. Landry read all of the record transfer from the ER Hospital where her leg was removed quickly so he was updated to continue helping me. Literally everyday he has helped. Sometimes just having him say "she looks good! This is normal. Yes-feed her that so she will take her meds!" is so helpful so I can quickly move forward and do what I need to for her care. Anyway, I will continue to take all of my pets to Dr. Landry. His staff has always been so amazing to me, and my fur-kids. I'm beyond grateful for the honesty, care, kindness, hugs, understanding, and communication from Dr. Landry and his staff. Rosie- thank you for letting me cry on your shoulder during one of the worst days of my life, I'm so thankful you were willing to ride with us to watch over Aspen. Veterinarians and the staff don't get the kind of recognition they deserve. As a side note, a local rescue group who saves older animals also uses Dr. Landry as their primary vet and I think that is pretty darn cool. Dr Landry is one of the rudest, most abrasive veterinarians I have ever worked with. My senior dog was terrified of being in his office and growled at him. He insisted on muzzling my dog immediately even though I tried to explain that he just needed some time to get used to the strange environment. He refused to let me stay with my dog while he examined him and dragged him back into the examining room. He was also extremely condescending while explaining my dog's condition. I was shaking by the time I left his office and my dog was not much better. It does not matter to me how knowledgeable or experienced a doctor is; there is absolutely no reason to treat patients like that. The arrogant Dr Landry needs to take a class in compassion and bedside manners. read more

We love dr. Rob! He's always thorough and helpful with alll of my babies. He always makes sure they are taken well care of and calls to check in on them after our sick visits. The staff is always very sweet and again calls to check in after sick visits. You can tell they really care not only about our pets but also about us too. I was having trouble clipping my new pups nails as his are black and my others are clear, so it's harder to see the quicks and one of the staff members sat with me and showed me how to clip his nails. Very Much recommended! The staff and Dr Landry are amazing! I bought pet previously to another vet and they just gave her 2 vaccines in one shot which she was traumatized for 3 days and in pain. I brought my newly adopted pet and my previous pet to them and they just do an amazing job! They dont let me overpay for vaccines. While I do understand there are always 2 sides to every story, I felt compelled to say a little more to clarify. I was trying to be conservative with my words as I have only written one Yelp review in the past, for a similar situation that was abusive and unprofessional......so here goes. I decided to go back to my old Vet, even though it is a commute for me, and she validated all of my concerns from my dog being unable to walk after surgery due to the positioning during surgery, which she said made perfect sense considering my dogs age and her pre surgery state of being able to run up and down stairs (!) to the cruelty of not sending her home with pain medicine after having 6 teeth pulled (Dr Landry actually thought an anti inflammatory was enough and explained to me that it WAS her pain medication......Dr Landry doesn't know the difference between an anti inflammatory and an analgesic apparently. My new Vet said what he gave me was the equivalent of a tylenol and not sufficient). When I asked Dr Landry if giving Atropine and Narcan were standard during his surgeries he answered yes My new Vet said these are medications only used for specific issues and rarely given. 5 days after her surgery, my dog was still laying down to eat and unable to poop so I called the office and was belittled for even suggesting it might be because she was constipated, a situation she has experienced in the past. Turns out this was a huge part of her incapacity as she threw her back out trying to poop! Dr Landry did not allow me to ask questions without having quick, sarcastic and belittling remarks while my new Vet understood that I have been with this dog for 18 amazing years and respected my input Dr Landry spent 5 minutes with me and my dog and did 99 percent of the talking My new Vet spent an hour with me and my pet and together we came up with an amazing and effective plan for her care Within 24 hours she has made a complete turn around, thankfully! She also got on the floor and pet my dog, talked to her and made her feel comfortable (as she was afraid to be at the Vet after her traumatizing experience at CCAMP office There is so so much more from the receptionists hanging up on me to the nurse telling me that the Versed and Diprivan my dog received could be why she was, 5 days later, still unable to walk I am a surgical nurse so I understand that both of these drugs last for minutes, not days! When I told Dr Landry that I was a nurse he responded that i wasn't a doctor! I tried to be nice but since you've pushed me with lies and more unkindness, I felt compelled I do hope you learn from this and that your future clients never experience what both me and my dog did Best of luck to you, and I mean it read more

We were introduced to Dr. Landry and his assistant Megan in 2018 when our ten year old German Shepherd had significant hip arthritis problems. We took her to Dr. Rob for an evaluation and she qualified for a stunningly effective experimental gene therapy program. I can only describe the outcome as life changing. Since then we have been back to them for other challenges that our dog has been facing, all of which have been dealt with promptly, efficiently and with a high level of expertise. We have never had veterinary care that matched both the skill and the sensitivity of Dr. Rob's practice. Though we live 25 miles away from the practice and have multiple other, closer options, we wouldn't consider going anywhere else. I have been taking my older Siberian Husky, Miles,(13) to Dr. Landry for nearly two years. I came to check out the experimental arthritis program he had but Miles did not qualify. I walked out with not only a better understanding of what Miles was going through as an older dog but also that he was living in daily pain that I had not recognized. In fact, Dr. Landry noticed a multitude of things about Miles that my regular vet had either not noticed or didn't know about. From that day on Miles started Acupuncture, Hydrotherapy, pain medication, supplements, laser therapy and later on CBD oil when that became necessary. It wasn't all started overnight but all of these treatments kept Miles much more comfortable than he was. A year later he had an FCE which almost crippled him but with patience and time Miles overcame that as well. Through it all we couldn't have done it without Dr. Landry. His insight and pure humanity both towards our animals and also to US as the doggie parents is over the top. We now take all of our animals to Dr. Landry. I can say with absolute certainty that Miles would not be here today if it weren't for Dr. Landry. I would highly encourage anyone to come here but if you have a dog or cat that may be in pain...and definitely ALL older dogs regardless if you know they are in pain....you must see Dr. Landry. read more
