We wanted vets who were trained and skilled at providing canine acupuncture and canine chiropractic. We had assumed we'd need to find two different vets; but when I went searching for local names on the national databases, for those two different certifying organizations, I was pleased to find Dr. Alice Baker Meuten was listed as certified on both databases! We immediately made an appointment. Now here we are, in 9 days from this writing, our little guy will turn 20!! We don't believe that he would be enjoying life now as he does and spending hours walking and exploring workd with the interest and activity he does if it wasn't for the excellent care we have found with Dr. Alice Baker Meuten. She clearly cares about the animals she treats. She is an excellent communicator. And we can definitely say her expertise and commitment have made a profound difference in the health, happiness and longevity of our dog!!

Several of the animals have come from homes where they've had unfortunate encounters with other pets or that didn't realize mini pigs can reach 100+ pounds. The facility holds events like trick or treating, open house and story time for kids. They also are active in events in the surrounding communities, such as town festivals and parades. (He also had an ingrown left dewclaw that required swift action; and they discovered while putting him under that a minor yeast infection had developed in his right ear.) Friendship was able to get us on the books for surgery the following week. Dr. Holmes kept me updated every step of the way, and was super succinct and thorough in her explanations of his status as well as post-op treatment. Five days later, my guy is doing great -- dewclaw's back to normal, yeast infection mostly cleared up, and incision is looking great and nearly healed. After enrolling in their annual care plan, I only ended up paying around $220 for everything, including an E-collar and meds. Dr. Rob is very straightforward and does not sugarcoat things which I appreciate. I've always been able to get appointments either same-day or within a day or two when I've needed it, and the office has always been running on time when I've been.
