Finding Michelle was a HUGE relief to me. Our dog Brownie is older (14 years) and we are newer to the area. I was not happy with the boarding options I was finding, many of which didn't even offer an outdoor area and I was concerned for the mental well-being of my pup. Having Michelle is amazing! It is obvious how much she loves animals and how seriously she takes her job in ensuring their happiness. Brownie gets (nearly) one-on-one attention, his own bed, a clean home, constant outdoor time, walks in the park and new doggy friends to play with. My dog has been going to The K9 Club for a month now and she is in love with it. I cannot mention it or she gets so excited and waits at the door until we go! It's never crowded, you don't leave your dog in a warehouse with 30 other dogs. they are not crated! It is so wonderful. Simply Michelle is the best!! She has helped me extremely with my baby bubb (pit bull pup)!! When she says that she is FLEXIBLE she really is! Last minute needed help she is there, doctors appt. I can't make she is there, and when i feel that my pup needs some more time socializing with all different types of dogs she is there! Bubb get so excited when we arrive and I know if he could talk he would tell me how much he loves her and his home away from home. With my hectic schedule with kids, school, work and everything in between i thought it would be impossible to care for another kid (Bubb) but she made it possible. My husband and I left our pit bull with Michelle, and she was so fantastic with him.! She would send me pictures of him throughout his visit. He always looked he was having the best time! She knows how to handle big dogs and I felt 100% safe when I left my dog with her. She goes above and beyond her clients' needs, she raced us to the airport no problem. My dog came back tired from playing and all the activities he did while he was with her also. She was also very professional and will accommodate your schedule or whatever you have going on! I have been dragging my feet on this review, not because The K9 Club didn't do a good job taking care of my dog, but because they are TOO AWESOME for words and I am actually scared to write a review that understates how much YOU NEED TO TAKE YOUR DOGS HERE. I consider myself a pretty literate person, but I don't think any amount of words or stars, as a matter of fact, can describe how amazing this business and its owner Michelle Bet is. My brother moved back to Taiwan for work, but his dog could not go back for 3 months because of some international pet export procedure. During these 3 months The K9 Club took care of my VERY BIG and VERY FURRY pet - a Golden Retriever and Great Pyrenees mix. He is a lot of work to maintain, but he was so pampered and loved there that I think he was very sad to leave when time came... Let me start by saying how clean and well-maintained Michelle's home is - every. single. time. that I am there. They keep only a few dogs at a time so each one gets a lot of love, attention, walks, rubs, play time, you name it! That being said... it is amazing how clean the place is. Michelle works very hard to keep it that way, and I look up to her for that. Like I stated earlier, our dog was very big and furry and sheds all the time. Oftentimes when I visit my brother I see lumps of hair on his floor even though my sister-in-law vacuums everyday. At Michelle's place I never saw any lumps of hair... Amazing isn't it? Michelle has this aura that tells you how much she cares about your furry friend and she is always willing to go the extra mile to help us out. I work a full-time job and my brother's family has already left the country for Taiwan. There were numerous procedure that had to be completed and a lot of times I am tied down by work and just cannot do it. I offered Michelle some money to take care of the tasks for me but she completed all the tasks in record time and did not take my money! I did insist on giving her a little extra at the end but you really can tell that she is not in this for just the money - she truly loves animals and is truly kind. When time came to send our beloved Fefe off to Taiwan Michelle even came with us to the airport... She printed out pictures of Fefe and taped them onto his shipping cage along with captions like "Hi my name is Fefe and I am very friendly". None of us were thoughtful enough to do anything like it but she did! I am sure that won Fefe a few hearts and some special treatments along the way. Michelle is awesome! She will work with you and your needs whatever the case may be! She has been walking my dogs ever since I started working too far for me to come home during the day to walk them. She is super flexible and the dogs LOVE her! Everyone involved with this company keeps the standards high and I always feel good when my babies are in their care. Yelpers! Michelle has been watching my overly spoiled Buster since he was puppy, 2.5 years ago. Buster's got a pretty good life, doggy day care every day, me at home every night, home cooked meals etc... Im envious. Michelle not only offers Buster the food I require but enables him to be amongst his buddies without the usual, stale environment that most facilities boast, but really lack in. Additionally, she is not the corporate giant that calls your dog or his 'stall' a number. She has a true personal interest in your dog and can relate to each and every one of them and cater to their specific needs. I think a very important feature is that she is flexible. I came home from a business trip at 1am a couple weeks ago (and yes I should have come straight home, but I missed Buster). She came to the door and had no issue with it. She's great! I call her frequently (and try not to make a habit of it) last minute and she always accommodates for weekend retreats. I would and do recommend her all the time. I took our dog to K9 club several times. We really liked taking him there because Michelle cared so much about each dog that she took care of. We also liked the idea of him being cared for in a house with just a few dogs to play with but not enough action that he couldn't rest. Things were going fine each time that Sour dog stayed with Michelle until our last visit. When my husband and I returned from our honeymoon to pick up our dog Michelle told us that he had accidentally slipped out the front door when someone else was coming into the house. She laughed as she told us the story about how she chased him all over Campbell until she finally found him and caught up with him. She did not apologize to me for this event, offer me any kind of discount, or explain exactly how he got out. My heart dropped when I heard this news as I realized that he could have easily been lost and never found or hit by a car. It also bothered us that Michelle seemed to take it lightly and laugh it off, even though we do think she cared about our dog. I loved the care that our dog got there previously, but I will never be able to let the incident go as I believe that there is no excuse for a pet boarding facility to allow a pet to walk out their front door alone, no matter the circumstances. Our dog has never run away from home in our care and our dog's safety is the most important factor. I just wouldn't be able to feel comfortable leaving him again and have sought out a commercial facility to try. read more

They take excellent call care of my pupsand give lots of love which is my first priority. They are always flexible with me which has worked out wonderfully. We normally never board our black lab as he stays with a family member when we need someone to watch him, but we ran into a last minute issue where our family member couldn't help the afternoon we were supposed to leave town for 4 days. I found Michelle on Yelp, and even though she normally didn't take dogs same day, she found the time to meet me 45 minutes after we first spoke on the phone. I met Michelle, watched her assess Jasper and feel very, very lucky that I stumbled upon K-9 Club on Yelp. That same afternoon I visited 4 different kennels--all very clean/nice, but the dogs were kept in caged runs and get 15-20 min per day of people interaction. At k-9 club, Jasper met 2 dpggy friends, and had the best 4 days while he got personal attention and training from Michelle---as evidenced by the pictures/updates Michelle would send me daily. Last Friday, I spoke with Michelle by phone for about 20-30 minutes about her taking care of my wonderful dog Gracie last Saturday. After reading all of the great reviews, I was really excited about having Michelle take care of Gracie . I made arrangements with Michelle to deliver Gracie at 7:45 am and Michelle asked me to send her a text with my email address so I could receive a fom to complete Friday night prior to arriving at 7:45am on Saturday. I sent a text to Michelle 30 minutes later at around 5pm. Michelle never responded to my text, so I sent her another text at 11pm Friday night. Michelle never responded to my text, so I tried texting and calling her several times beginning about 6:30 am on Saturday morning. Still no response. After having her completely flake on me, I cannot recommend her services to anyone. Unreliable, uncaring and non-communicative is how I can best describe her. After making arrangements for her to take care of my dog on Saturday - No return phone call, no text, no nothing. Flakey! read more

My family and I have been using Michelle for about 2 years now for our 2 1/2 year old Rottweiler , Max. Finding someone to care for your pet , your child basically, is not an easy task . So when we came across Michelle it was an isn't feeling of relief . We did a kind of interview to see if we would work well together and more importantly the dogs met to see if they were able to get along . The ones that were in her care at the time we needed Max to be cared for. I thought that was a great move on her part , just dropping a dog off could be so traumatic already , then to throw it to the wolves just adds stress to the dog . On top of that we had to provide proof of vaccination , if all shots were current . I tell you I was very impressed by the attention to detail and to top all this off while we were away Michelle would and still does send photos of the dogs playing or at the beach . It really helps with the guilty feeling we all have had once in our lives when leaving our pets , to know they are in good care and are with other dogs they can play with makes it a lot easier as a pet owner . Since meeting Michelle, we have become good friends , she's like the sister I never had . She's very professional , returns phone calls and text messages and she is always reachable . I've never had a problem with communication, if I'm in Cali or New Jersey she's always gotten back to us . Do I recommend using her ,YES ! This review is long over due. Fourth of July weekend my fiancée and I had plans and it slipped our minds to make reservations to board our pup Jax for the weekend at the boarding place we used to use. We made over 20 phone calls to different boarding facilities and everyone was booked. We contacted Michelle and she was so awesome to work with us on getting Jax in at such last minute. It was such a quick process once I arrived early in the morning and I felt very confident and happy about leaving him in her care. Normally I worry about him the entire time he's not with us but she made us feel very comfortable as she continuously took pics of him playing, and when he was pooped out and she text them to us throughout the weekend. He was so worn out when we picked him up which told us he had a great time playing the whole weekend. She's very knowledgable about what she does and you definitely can't beat her prices. Great prices for great quality of care. We're looking forward to having her care for our pup again this coming week and we'll definitely continue to have him stay with her from now on whenever we have boarding needs.
