    Hummus
    Alexis M.

A friend and I stopped in after driving by the Kabob House for months. It was quiet but clean. We started with hummus which was impeccable, I would eat it with a spoon every day. I ordered the chicken shawarma platter while my friend got the chicken shawarma wrap. They were good but sweeter seasoning than I had imagined. The portion size was enough for leftovers! Next time we'll try their smoothies as well!

I have yet to try the sit down experience and dine in here. However, after a great experience getting some smoothies to go it is definitely on my list. I thought the smoothies were decently priced for the portion you get. The man making my smoothies made sure to check in with me and have me taste everything as he made it so it was to my liking. The fruit was fresh, the service was pleasant. I enjoyed the music playing and the little disco light above the smoothie station. The restaurant seemed a bit small with only a few tables and booths but was nicely decorated and clean. I will definitely be back.

The Vegetarian Feast with a California olive

Had the Vegetarian Feast for lunch. The hummus was flavorless, the baba ghanouj was ice cold and lacked flavor, the tahini sauce had no flavor, the falafels and pita were good (I like them baked though), the salad was just okay. It had a California olive in it. | Service was terrible. | The server was more interested in speaking with the manager, holding my lunch and not bringing it to me. Never once checked up on me. Guess I should have had a kabob. I have been here before, nothing really stood out, so maybe it was just an off day.

Great place to stop for food on your drive on 90! Staff was fast and accommodating. Drove three minutes to the lake to eat it.

Amazing vibe to this place with a very friendly staff. I went in overly hungry and ordered a bit much. I got the grilled combo, hummus, and a strawberry lemon fruit drink from their new fruit bar. Everything tasted great and service was good. The only reason it's 4 instead of 5 stars is they didn't do a good job of cleaning off tables after guests so people would come in and clean it themselves to be able to sit down. Other than that, totally a great place for food.

Another great experience at Kabob house! So excited to see a renovated SMOOTHIE AND ICE CREAM BAR with Perry's scoops and more fresh fruit than the Caribbean. Can't wait to come here for ice cream again. I got the Kafta Kabobs my usual. The spices were perfect.

Smoothies were outstanding and exceeded expectations, both in taste and visual aesthetics. Made to order with delicious fresh fruit; friendly service all along the way! Only Reason for four out of five stars - Amenities could use more attention.

    Falafel Wrap

Large portions and very tasty food. Service was very fast and attentive. Pitas and hummus came with freshly baked warm pitas. Falafel wraps had a lot of flavor and the presentation was excellent. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

The Kabob House is a really nice experience. They did a really nice job with the renovations and transition from its previous form. We really enjoyed our food, everything was well made, perfectly cooked and nicely seasoned. We got the falafels as our appetizers and shared a tahini salad. We always fear dry falafels and fear not, they were delicious! The tahini salad was a standout in taste and freshness, highly recommend! Our mains were the lamb kabobs and lamb gyro platter. Lamb was perfection. Choose your favorite sauce to your personal liking. We were impressed and happy with the veggies, really a shredded salad, which was very fresh with a nice light dressing. The pita that came with the kabobs was phenomenal and I wish it came with more. I loved the rice and they gave you a ton of it which my taste buds were grateful for! We are excited to go back and try more in the future and recommend you give it a try. Enjoy!

My husband and I waited patiently for this place to open as we live down the street and passed by it all the time! When we finally saw the open signs out front, we made plans to order! We waited a week or so for the new business to work out their kinks and then ordered on a busy Friday night! Let me first say, this restaurant is on the corner of a very congested area of Liverpool, and traffic is nuts! There is limited parking, but luckily I found a spot in front and ran right in to grab my takeout. I was greeted by the staff and they had our meals all packaged and ready to go! My eyes were instantly drawn to the dessert case on my way out, so I'll definitely need to grab something from there next time! The food was pretty standard Greek food. The hummus was smooth and the warm pita complimented it well. I got the chicken schwarma bowl and my husband had the regular gyro bowl. The sauces that they put on them added a nice flavor! Overall, everything was very good and hopefully they do well there!

YUM. Kabob House...you have my heart. Stopped here for a work lunch on our way back to Albany and everything was so flavorful. The service was great and very friendly. The waiter kindly put up with our many extra sauce requests. I am a falafel snob and theirs is delicious, with the perfect crunch on the outside and a yummy tahini sauce to complement it. The mixed grill platter was so good. The sauces made it, but even just the rice on its own was perfectly cooked and the meat was full of flavor. The side salad was probably not super healthy with the dressing but I could've eaten a whole bowl of it. Then I couldn't resist getting some baklava to go. Yum, yum, yum. I will be back!

A friend recommended the Kabob House and so we tried it out. Wow! Lots of different options and the menu and they all sound delicious. I order the Beef Kufta Kabob Wrap, which was tasty and filling. Good flavor combination. Now I'm looking forward to going back and trying something else. Kabob House is on a busy corner at rush house. Depending on where you're coming from, you may want to approach it from 2nd Street.

Got Roast Beef/Lettuce/Provolone/ Thousand Island. Sandwiches are hard to mess up and impress when they are cold cut but the price for the size along with the roast beef being a good cut definetly make this a good sandwich and I can understand the enjoyment. Coupled with it I ordered a soup and while they didnt have the meatball medley the chicken noodle was warm and comforting and additionally they gave us a mac salad to make up for the meatball medley being ordered but not available. Love a good paprika on my mac salad and they did it well. Would go back and try something else!

We came around lunch time on Saturday August 30th 2025 - Upon walking in, I noticed the menu board was written in very small font and had no descriptions so it was kind of hard to figure out what we wanted. I asked the employee for the most popular choice and she recommend the Brooklyn special which had swiss cheese, pastrami, corned beef and prosciutto. This came on a rye bread, with a type of mayonnaise and we added lettuce, tomato and onions. We got only 3 pickles for the huge sandwich which really did not seem like enough. I appreciated how much meat there was but the overall sandwich was lacking in flavor. The "Russian dressing" tasted like regular mayo. I did not see a regular reuben sandwich option on the menu, perhaps this was something you needed to request - but it would have been better to have a toasted bread perhaps or just a different sauce. Portion was huge, pricing was fair, but the overall flavor was boring so that is disappointing.

I ordered the Beef of Weck and Potato Salad given past reviews seemed to deem these two items as menu staples. The potato salad was fine, in need of a big pinch of salt. The Beef on Weck was a hardy, and a big portion for a sandwich, the extra horseradish wasn't necessary unless you're really a fan. However, the sandwich should be eaten with the au jus, otherwise it borders on flavorless. I did find the bun overly salty. Filling but not fufillying. Additional note... When I went to pickup the staff member wanted me to sign off on a receipt of the full amount without the discount. When I stated I paid online, he responded it had to do with the fact DoorDash doesn't allow for a tip. When I asked for a new bill representative of what I paid, the manager came and said they ask for the signature to confirm it was picked up... Then I said, I can indicate that here on the app, and he agreed and let me go with my food. Overall the interaction made me uncomfortable as I've never experienced a similar situation with pickup. Perhaps just me, but something I feel someone should be made aware of if they're ordering to-go.

I buy the same sub - the club sub - from the same Jersey Mike's on West Genesee in Camillus,…read morerepeatedly. Turkey, ham, provolone, bacon. Tonight they got it really wrong. Fortunately, it doesn't happen often at Jersey Mike's - however that's not what this review is about. This review is about the person who took my call. After they looked up my order, I told them what was missing from my sub, which was shocking as it was missing mostly everything except an everything. There was no lettuce except for a few stray shreds. It had no onion when I asked for extra onion. It had no pickles on my sandwich which I also ordered. And it had NO BACON which is part of the sub. One side of the sandwich had half a piece of ham and the other had a slice of turkey and no cheese. Basically half the sandwich was empty and the other half was missing most items. But a bad sandwich is not a tragedy. I called and attempted to tell the employee on the phone what was missing from my sandwich and she kept talking over me. I couldn't understand what she was saying because there was a lot of background noise - so I started repeating what was missing again and she told me loudly "I don't need to hear all of that!" - which was really rude - and then she said "we have 15 people working today because of our month of giving and I have no idea who made your sandwich. (I didn't ask who made my sub) I'll give you a refund" which was fine - until I heard her say to someone else: "this woman is yelling at me." At first I thought she can't be referring to me because I had not raised my voice. I had not yelled. As a matter of fact, I was very understanding that with all the extra people working for their charity promotion, it is easy to make a mistake. I can imagine what happened: somebody started making a sandwich - got distracted, and somebody else just wrapped it up and put it with our order. But what I overheard her say disturbed me, so I asked her: "did you just say I was yelling at you?" She replied "No- no. I said you were just 'asking' me." That's not what I heard, though. I heard her distinctly say I was yelling at her. Her conduct really left a bad taste in my mouth, no pun intended. I think it's a great thing that Jersey Mike's has an entire month in March donating to charity, but don't take out your chaos on your customers. Being rude to customers is not the way to keep them. This particular Jersey Mike's location should use a new slogan: Jersey Mike's - Good sandwiches. Bad attitude. The fact is, for the first time I just noticed that their health score is extremely concerning. I know on a math test 96 out of 100 is great but if you click on the Health score and you see why four points were deducted - you might not want to eat there. Doubt I will.

You have to watch them carefully so not to end up with a sandwich soaked in oil and vinegar. They pile on a lot of lettuce to make the sub look larger then what it really is. Order a sub with no veggies and see how little meat there is placed on the sandwich. It's just a fancy subway, that's expensive and not a 'goto' for subs. The menu would get old fast.
