    Busy night

The food was excellent. A bit different having tomato in a Cesar Salad but fresh and flavorful. My turkey and pork club was a great choice with a great flavor combination. Our waitperson was not aware our table had been assigned to them and seemed a bit flustered. Our drink orders were taken followed by our meal order. They didn't seem to recover entirely from the rough start. The dinning room seemed to have a few too many tables. Neither we nor the waitstaff were able to access all areas of our table.

Beautiful view. Upscale rustic decor for the interior. Students staff the place. Service was slow but very pleasant server and helpful with menu questions. Too hungry initially and forgot photos of salad and entree. The peach and burrata salad was a nice mix of greens paired with salty bacon and sweetness of peaches which made for a delightful dish. Shrimp and grits was well executed, nice portion of both shrimp and bacon. Excellent seasoning, warm and filling. Tried the hummingbird cake which was also well done. Entire meal was gluten free!!

If you are looking for a special evening out you won't be disappointed with the College of Ozarks dining room at the Keeter Center. First of all, the space is a lodge and beautifully massive. It's like taking a trip back in time. Home cooked food. No alcohol. Students run everything. We only noticed one gentleman who appeared to be the supervisor. Our server was a hospitality major from Illinois. She was very friendly and attentive. Several gluten free options. My husband had the meat loaf and I had chicken fried steak. Both were delicious. Soup was tomato bisque and appetizer was smoked salmon crostini. The bread and butter options are worth the trip. Hummingbird cake was perfect ending. We left with plenty of leftovers! Parking lot in front of the Keeter Center is huge. The lobby is worth extra time.

Best place to eat in Branson! If you go to eat anywhere make sure it is here! The service was outstanding! Our waitress was so kind and very attentive. The food was perfectly cooked and had so tons of flavor. We had the steak and prime rib. The restaurant is so clean and very beautiful. Great view of the college. Overall 10 out of 10!

So keep in mind these are students earning their tuition or working since there was no tuition. The service was okay with minor goofs of starting position to remember who had what but not a big deal. Drinks were refilled timely and check back after 2 minutes was right on the money. Served from the left and cleared from the right was followed and done seamlessly. The food was good but not wow! The bread they deliver pre-meal is really good. A variety of raisin biscuits and dinner rolls are really fantastic along with the butter, strawberry butter and apple butter choices. Stroganoff was also not served warm and flavors were good but not great. Corn fritters, uhh not very good at all. Consistency was great but again not a wow factor. The ambiance is just gorgeous and you have to come and see the place. A beautiful dining room with a huge fireplace and floor to ceiling wi does overlooking a spectacular landscape. I can imagine after a big snow storm that view would be amazing. Overall you do have to come and experience this place, the people and the food. We all really enjoyed our time and we will come again. Maybe just for dessert because they looked delicious.

Located on the College of the Ozarks campus is this culinary secret. The Keeter Center is a student run restaurant that prides itself in superior service and home cooking. We came for lunch on a snowy day and were blown away. Our server Harley was exceptional. Friendly, informative and oh so professional! We had the most delightful experience. The food was delicious and the service first class! The dinning room gave off a rustic Ozarks feel. Everything is homemade right down to the jellies and ice cream! If you plan to visit MAKE RESERVATIONS! The secret is out and this place gets busy

This was a highlight of our trip to Missouri. The College of the Ozarks campus is absolutely beautiful with so much stonework, colorful flowers, and water features. Of special note is the monument commemorating 9/11. We enjoyed visiting the stained glass shop and the basket weavers. There are many shops where you can buy products, many of which are handmade by the students, and no visit is complete without a meal in the dining room. The students work in the restaurant, and our server, Easton, was very friendly and we really enjoyed talking with him. This was also some of the best food we had on our trip. The meatloaf I enjoyed was bacon wrapped and topped with pepper jelly ketchup. It was chef's kiss delicious! My husband enjoyed the day's special of schnitzel with potato cakes and said it was wonderful. We also enjoyed a visit to the creamery before we left and shared a double scoop of raspberry mascarpone ice cream that was cool, creamy, and so yummy! If you have the opportunity don't miss out on a visit to the Keeter Center. You will be so glad you stopped by!

We have never been disappointed with anything at the Keeter Center. We've stayed here in the past and absolutely fell in love with the turn-down service of warm cookies and cold milk. They also used to host a Sunday brunch that nothing else in Branson could even come close to rivaling, in my opinion. On this most recent trip, we had a waitress who rivals any server we've ever had. Rainbow was amazing! She interacted with us like she was our best friend and was completely on top of our service the entire time. Our food and desserts were perfect as always.

Visiting from Florida, we were told about this Farm to Table restaurant. It's a beautiful rustic lodge setting with an elegant flare. Students working their way toward graduation are eager to serve with professionalism and charm. (Congratulation to our server Thomas who graduates in a couple of days). The food was uniquely created and stylishly severed. We even enjoyed the flavorful and creamy ice cream in the lobby.

Excellent food in a comfortable environment with plenty of space to relax, enjoy the large fireplace with a roaring fire with rocking chairs or easy chairs around the room for comfort before or after the meal. All the food is sourced locally and/or crafted locally and served by the students at the local college.

Our server was fantastic, he was kinda shy but he really worked to be social and friendly with all his tables. I really enjoyed him and our experience. He did a great job answering our questions and if he didn't know he found out. The food was really great! The portions were big two of us shared the chicken salad sandwich and pasta salad. It was plenty of food! That way we had room for some of the amazing ice cream! Do not skip the ice cream! The ice cream was really good. Best birthday cake ice cream I have ever had. I really enjoyed the dark chocolate too. Do not skip the keeper center or school! Such a great experience.

Great customer service! The food was delicious. My grilled salmon was perfect. Served hot with grilled asparagus. Beautiful interior, great view of the school/farm. The meatloaf was lean and moist. Perfect. Note: we had mochas after dinner. Made with fresh cows milk. Can't get that at Starbucks

This place is a gem, The Keeter Center has an awesome restaurant, they make everything in-house. Service was incredible, place is incredible clean/comfortable. Food was beautifully presented, you can taste fresh ingredients. All the food we ordered was seasoned to perfection, mashed potatoes were creamy and melted in your mouth. They also make delicious Ice cream

My husband loved the Meatloaf Mignon. He substituted the grits for the potatoes.

I'm a longtime Marriott loyalist, but this stay at the Marriott Vacation Club in Branson, Missouri,…read morewas one of the most frustrating experiences I've had with the brand. Short Version: If you are staying for a short time period avoid the "timeshare treatment" and fees. The housekeeping and room size won't make it an enjoyable experience. Book a true hotel that can help make your stay comfortable. I booked a smaller room directly through the Marriott website for a 3-night stay. Knowing the room type, I specifically called ahead to confirm we would receive daily housekeeping. The representative assured me we would get what they called a "daily tidy" service. After the first day, we returned to an untouched room. When I called the front desk on July 17, 2026, I was told they only offer every-other-day service and that the "daily tidy" description was "misleading" (their words). They clarified it was simply a limited clean every other day. At that point, it was too late to change anything, so we made do. The next day we returned around 3pm hoping to nap and shower before evening plans. The room was exactly as we had left it. At the front desk, staff explained they have until 4pm to service rooms and prioritize checkouts over stayovers. While I understand operational realities, I was surprised and frustrated that nothing had been done by mid-afternoon. The same associate I had spoken with the day before rolled her eyes at me, which only added to the poor experience. No one seemed to view this as an issue worth addressing. I asked if they could at least bring fresh towels to the door so we wouldn't have to vacate the room. Shortly after returning, we received multiple phone calls from the front desk and a housekeeper knocking--disrupting our attempt to rest. When the housekeeper arrived, she only had one towel initially. She later returned with towels but no hand towels or washcloths. By then it was too late for any meaningful tidy. The room also had a persistent musty smell, likely made worse by damp bath and beach towels hanging to dry. As non-timeshare guests, we expected standard Marriott service levels rather than reduced attention. We didn't stay long enough to use laundry facilities or most amenities, but the pools appeared well-maintained and the game room was clean. Unfortunately, those positives couldn't make up for the core failures in housekeeping and guest service. Over the past few years I've been shifting more toward Hilton properties, which have felt more dependable and consistent. Every time I give Marriott another chance, I end up disappointed. This was the lowest-bar experience I've had in a while: I simply wanted basic daily tidying and towel service so the room wouldn't smell musty. Even my younger children, who don't travel with us often and loved the big pool, thought the overall stay was disappointing. I waited for a manager follow-up or even a simple morning check-in from the front desk, but nothing happened. It seemed the 4pm deadline was all that mattered. I hope Marriott Vacation Club reviews these processes. Housekeeping communication and service standards need clear improvement to match the brand's reputation.

The Branson Ozarks Inn, now operating as a Days Inn by Wyndham, fit the bill perfectly. Location was a huge win -- the theatre was just a few blocks away, so we didn't have to deal with any hassle getting there. Check-in was quick and painless, and the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming right from the start. Is the place a little dated? Sure. But you can tell they're in the middle of making upgrades, and the effort shows. Our room was clean and comfortable, which is really all that matters for a one-night stay. We also appreciated the outdoor seating area -- a nice little touch for winding down after the show. This isn't a luxury resort and it doesn't pretend to be. At around $80 a night, you're getting solid value for your money, especially with how close it is to the theatre district. We'd absolutely stay here again next time Branson calls us back.

I booked this room well over a month ago and requested a very clean and quiet area room on the 1st or top floor. They did not have either and put me on the 3rd floor. I checked in for a five-night stay. I woke up on the second morning with bedbug bites all over my upper body. I informed the front desk, and they checked the room and found an infestation behind my headboard. They moved us from room 310 to 424 and took one night's charge off our bill. I asked for and got an incident report from the front desk and filled it out. The following day, I went to get it signed and was very rudely helped(?) by the Assistant. Mgr. (Kimberly Dixon). She grabbed the form and scribbled on it so hard that it ripped the form, and she just tossed it back to me. I decided to cut our trip short and check out a day early. Now, after I got home, I checked my credit card account, and they charged another $219.20. I immediately called the hotel to see what the additional charge was for. The front desk person I talked to said she did not know and to call back the next day to speak with the manager. A few minutes later, she called me and said the charge was for damage to the headboard caused by rubbing alcohol. I called the assistant manager the next day, and she said the same thing. She said that I sprayed rubbing alcohol on the headboard, damaging it. I asked her how she knew I sprayed alcohol. At first, she said she had a video recording of it, and I asked her if the hotel was recording my room. I asked her multiple times if my room was recorded. Then she started to change her story, saying that the housekeeper watched me spray. No way that happened since I always have the do not disturb sign on the door. And then she changed her story yet again that the housekeeper said that the headboard did not have any spots on it. She then stated that there would be no refund of the $219.20 and then hung up the phone. I came face to face with the manager and other desk personnel daily, and no one bothered to ask how I was doing or if I needed additional care. I have never suffered from bedbugs in my life, but I am still suffering from the itching and inflammation with mentally and physically exhausted from the entire experience. This is absolutely unacceptable and will not pay the $219.20 without any proof.. I have suffered, and this has caused me to shorten/ruin my trip. The managers and front desk personnel are very unkind, rude, and unprofessional. The appearance of the hotel is below Hampton Inn's standards. Would put -Stars if I could.

But in the morning, KIMBERLY D really helped me out when I needed to switch hotels from Branson, Missouri to Tulsa, Oklahoma. Since I'm staying here on personal time and on Hilton Honors points. She allowed me to cancel my 2nd night and refunded my points since I checked out before 11am. She helped me out big time and made my stay pleasant. The area is super nice and clean. We always recommend the hotel to others who ask us, even strangers, though we tongue-in-cheek say to please not try to reserve on a date we plan to go to avoid the hotel not having a room when we need it. :) Of course, joking aside, the hotel is wonderful. The personnel are phenomenal. We have had the blessing and opportunity to meet several of them and they all seem to genuinely care about the guest and the guest experience. Personnel to be expected could include John, Grace, TJ, and manager Steve are always making sure things are going properly. There are others who take care of their duties and guests but we have not learned their names. Making reservations is easy whether by the Choice Hotels website or by calling the hotel directly. The telephone on weekdays is usually answered by TJ who helpfully cares for the needs and preferences, and provide the best cost available based on the guest's possibilities. Even if TJ is not the person answering we hav found everyone to be helpful in requests. The hotel is always clean including the rooms, hallways, breakfast room, restrooms. There are four floors including the main floor. There is an elevator that has always operated properly when we have visits and is clean. Room service related to new towels and those necessary items are provided as requested. Christina manages the hospitality areas. You can request a regular full service and that is done at no additional cost. The other option is to indicate on a hanging card what and how many of various items (bath towels, hand towels, washcloth, hand soap, tp, facial tissues, etc.) and they place them all in a large plastic bag, tied, and placed outside the room door. You can place your used towels outside the room door and they quickly pick them up for your convenience. We have found this way to actually work out well as no need to fuss about the room as no one will be entering. Sound level is what would be expected in a hotel of this type. The rooms are pretty quiet. We don't normally hear anything except periodically when a family with running children come in and run down the halls, but that is usually only a few moments and then quiet again. This is especially good for those needing a quiet place to rest during the day, and for those who need to work in their room. The only thing I need to comment on, especially since I previously mentioned the family friendly nature of the canned soft drink machines in the building, the price has been raised to $2.00 per can, so not as family friendly as before though s nice variety is still available and convenient. The machines only take cash but the front desk can assist with that if needed. They also have a frozen product machine with items such as ice cream sandwiches and similar novelties for about $4.00 and $5.00 each. There is a free breakfast provided that includes items such as scrambled eggs, white gravy, biscuits, hard boiled eggs, cereals, waffles you make in the machine, bacon on some days while ham on other days, and many other items. There is pretty much something for everyone and cared for by breakfast manager Christine and her staff. There is a parcel of land right next to the hotel, about large enough for another building, but the hotel makes use of it like a park. There is a gravel walking track around the park. Inside the park are a few seating options as well as a horseshoe setup. Recently they installed a covered area and four picnic tables that makes a nice area for eating, relaxing, not normally found at a hotel. It is well cared for, along wth the inside needs of the buildiing by maintenance manager David. Parking is asphalt, well lit, very nice and feeling of security, and there always seems to be enough parking even when they are fully booked. If you have an electric vehicle, they do have three chargers available. On this particular visit, we found out something that may be useful for you to know. As I was checking in, TJ and David were talking about their anniversaries and then said they didn't to bother me with their anniversaries and I mention, well, interestingly it is our anniversary so I am in with the conversation. About an hour later we hears a know at the door and Christina was there holding a silver tray with a silver bucket filled with ice and a nice large bottle of sparkling cider. She said it as for our anniversary and, if they had known about it when we made our reservations, they usually decorate the room prior to arrival. So, if you are going to be at the hotel on your anniversary, and you want to enjoy some free sparkling cider and have a nicely decorated room, let them know when you make your reservation. We can't comment on what the decorations might be since they did not know in time to do our room but we are sure it would be nice based on Christina's detail attention.

Good: 1. is affordable, during the week. 2. Staff is helpful and kind. 3. Hot tub was working,…read moreas promised. Pool area is clean. 4. Off the main drag so one doesn't have to deal with all of THAT traffic. Easy access to a number of notable Branson tourist spots, such as Silver Dollar City, St. James Winery, Titanic Museum without having to get in the traffic mix. 5. Shower head in bathroom was awesome! 6. Pool table/game area was a nice addition for our 13 year old grandson. Bad: 1. Breakfast was AWFUL! We even arrived during the "green light" designation/early in the morning....and it was bad! No working waffle maker, limited cereal and fruit choices, powered eggs swimming in liquid. We travel all over the U.S. and have eaten at many a hotel breakfast. This was by farrrrrrrrrrrrrr the worst. We headed to Billy Gail's for breakfast during the rest of our stay. Thankfully, it was just over a half mile away. 2. THEE ELEVEATOR! Just from a safety standpoint....I am shocked that a hotel of this size can get away with only one elevator moving at a snail's pace. Add cleaning crews moving carts via the elevator, and you'll be lucky to fit another person or two into the moving albatross. I had just had knee surgery, so the stairs weren't an option...if you stay here, pack your patience with regards to the elevator. 3. This is an older hotel. It shows its wear and tear. A renovation is needed. 4. We were consistently promised that the gift shop could easily get us tickets WITHOUT advance notice. We repeatedly asked about our needs and were reassured it wasn't a big deal. The day we decided to go to the Titantic museum....we went to the gift shop to buy our tickets. They had apparently sold out of their "allotted tickets" for the day....and we were there during the week. THANKFULLY, we were able to walk up to the ticket counter, at the museum, and get tickets for the day...but, I wasn't happy about the whole experience. Weigh the good with the bad....I did research for MONTHS to find the perfect place for us and our grandson. I prioritized our needs and booked this place. IF I ever go back, with a grandkid, during the summer...this place would be a 50/50 for me.

From the moment we arrived, the property felt peaceful, secluded, and absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking views of Table Rock Lake all around us. The scenery alone made the stay feel special. Our accommodations at Long Creek were cozy, spacious, and beautifully designed. I loved how it had that upscale cabin feel--rustic and charming while still feeling comfortable and modern. The bed was very comfortable, the space felt clean and inviting, and waking up to the quiet lake atmosphere was incredibly relaxing. One of the best parts of staying at Long Creek was the privacy. It felt more peaceful than the main lodge, making it perfect if you want a quiet getaway while still having access to all the amazing amenities at Big Cedar. The pool area was gorgeous and relaxing, and being so close to the marina made lake activities super convenient. Whether you're traveling as a couple, with family, or even for a group trip, there's plenty to enjoy. Guests often highlight the privacy and scenic setting as major perks.

But there's not a free continental breakfast which was a little disappointing. There are places to eat at but they're kinda expensive. There are different names of lodges and the one we stayed at was seemed like it needs a few updates? There's a cool place for kids called Fun Mountain. A few things are included with your stay but others are not free. Along the property, there are many pools and a swim beach, mini golf, pickle ball, shuffle board and beach volley ball. It is a huge place and there are shuttles. It can be confusing at first. They gave a gift shop of course with a lot of stuff to see. You can go on paddle boats or kayak too.

I'll be honest.... I really wanted to like this place. The website looked wonderful, but the…read morereality was less than ideal. I will start with the positives: - Staff....polite, friendly, helpful - Facilities... not bad! They had a pool, a couple hot tubs, and several fire pit areas available to reserve, down a a sleepy little creek. Ideal for kids to play, or to just relax. The place is far enough off the beaten path to be fairly peaceful and quiet. Lotsa green space to walk our dogs. Bugs didn't seem to be a problem, even being this close to woods and water. - A coffee and booze bar in the lobby. - Live music on two evenings. Now, the bad stuff: - the room. I've stayed in better Motel 6s. Not a room we wanted to hang out and relax in. The single queen room was extra small.... No space for luggage or to hang some clothes. Concrete floor that looks like it may have used to be covered but it was ripped up and replaced with a throw run that was barely bigger than the bed. The blinds didn't quite cover the window so you were guaranteed glare coming into the room, and to be greeted by the dawns early light. The room had a fridge that worked, but no coffee maker. The air conditioner worked well, but was noisy. No decor besides a couple small, random, oddly placed items on the wall. Water temperature and pressure in the shower were ok. - The free continental breakfast wasn't much. Cereal, some packaged muffins and danish that weren't very good. Some overripe bananas. Some weak coffee. - Weak wifi. Our room was in the center of the complex and we got one to two bars at best, and frequently lost the signal. We ended up having to use the hotspot on our phones. What makes it worse is that the TV also ran off the WiFi, and we lost signal. Bottom line..... if I had a better idea of what I was getting into I may have stayed elsewhere. Great surroundings but a disappointing room. Not sure we will return.
