Got sat down pretty quick in a room that's not the main dining area. Our server came by pretty quick to get drink orders and see if we have any questions. After we gave our orders, everything went downhill from there. The wait for the food was well over 1.5 hours, maybe even closer to 2 hours. When the food finally came out, sides were missing, food was prepared wrong, even had to remake a kids meal because it was made with garlic, which he's allergic to and specifically requested to not be made with it. The only saving grace is that the burgers and fries weren't that bad. I have never seen a dry prime rib, so that was new. We asked the busboy for plates so we can share appetizers but he said we had to get that from our server, who was nowhere in site for so long we had to walk around the restaurant to find her or the manager. If you're looking to eat ANYTHING other than a burger, save yourself money and a headache and go eat somewhere else. Waited about 10 minutes for our drinks then another close to 45 minutes for our food. Had to call our waitress over to get a refill. Only bothered with that once. My husband's French dip was cold & the keg chips were probably 2 days old minimum. Kids chicken was super dry. Definitely will be a long time before we go back. I wish I could tell you about the food or the ambiance, but we never got that far. My husband and I were visiting Fulton and went to The Keg on the recommendation of a local. We arrived about the same time as another woman and were told by the hostess that there would be a wait for a table. We told her we were fine with that, requested a low-top table and sat down in the lobby area to wait. Two women came in soon after us, seemed to know one of the servers, and were immediately seated. The woman who walked in with us commented that she had a reservation for 6:30 (it was 6:27) and wondered why they were seated before her. She asked the server, who immediately said she was sorry but did not know the woman had a reservation. Although the place was supposedly full, she found another table and seated the woman and her party. People continued to come in and were told the wait would be 45 minutes to an hour. Almost everyone left, and we heard the staff commenting, "Maybe we should just lock the door." My husband and I continued to wait, noticing that how full the dining room was seemed to be dependent on whether or not a server knew the person. After several other parties were seated ahead of us, we asked the hostess how much longer it might be. We had been waiting 30 minutes at this point and had watched several parties (none mentioned having a reservation) seated during that time. The hostess asked if she had our name. No, because she never asked for our name. We were sitting right in front of her, clearly waiting for a table. I asked if the 45 minute to an hour wait included the 30 minutes we'd already been waiting. She didn't answer that, just commented that most people were just getting their food. We told her to forget it and left. We understand the rush of Friday nights in a small town and did not mind waiting. However, it was clear that if there was a system for seating customers, it was not being followed. My friend said that this is the best experience he has had in Folton. I chalk that up to being arrested here. (Just kidding, he didn't get arrested, but he did have some bad experiences here) After asking for a recommendation, I settled on the grill chicken salad with ranch. The ranch was actually very good. The grilled chicken comes on the salad hot, so take note if that is an issue for you. The chicken was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. We had good service. They only serve Pepsi so minus a star. My husband and I just moved to Fulton and wanted to try someplace local. I ordered the bbq chicken and my husband got the classic burger. We were both very satisfied with our food! The chicken fell right off the bone and their bbq sauce is delicious. My husbands burger was huge, he could hardly finish it. Nikki was our server and she was very friendly and efficient. Went here with a group of 8 today for a late lunch. They weren't real busy at all which made me nervous. The special was a bbq platter. We all ordered and a few of us got the special. The food at this place is solid! The bbq pork was outstanding and large portions. The slaw was rough cut I prefer fine but the flavor was great. The seasoned fries were great also. I love the Keg. Honestly, it's one of the best places to eat in Fulton. Good sized bar drinks, portions are decent, and prices are fair. Often has daily specials, including oysters, fish, and prime rib. My fave side has to be the fried green tomatoes -- they pickle the tomatoes, and they are the best I've ever had. My husband had work in the area and was brought here by another coworker and he really enjoyed the food. So, he brought me back here to try it out. It was a 3-1/2 hour drive, but we planned for it. Upon arrival, we were a bit disappointed that indoor dining was not allowed due to COVID, which just took effect the day before. So we had the option to eat on the patio or to go. We chose the patio because we didn't drive 3-1/2 hours for takeout. There were only 2 other people there, so we were pretty spaced out. We both had the Keg burger and Bbq quesadilla. When I tell you delicious..Wow!! The BBQ sauce is TO-DIE-FOR!!! (I'm a sauce person). The tortillas on the quesadillas was different and delectable! The burgers were HUGE and AMAZING! The service was just ok--nothing to write home about. Our server went missing for a while, but another server did check on us and tended to our needs. The sodas were very icy and watery. Everyone was nice though. The area was a little off... like a ghost town, nearly no one out at all. Very spooky, but allowed me to get some good pics. We would definitely come here again. I don't recommend drinking till close though, the police sit outside and pull over anyone coming out of there at closing time. Had a great experience here. Could tell it was a good place when we walked in and saw everything from young couples to families to older couples. Everyone was enjoying this place. Waitress was very nice and got everything we needed very promptly. Started with fried pickles and they were very good. Cut long ways which was odd but I really enjoyed the extra pickle flavor. I had a burger which was clearly hand patted and high quality meat, cooked to perfection, just before becoming well done. Bun was toasted and garlic mashed potatoes on the side were the best part. Overall a great meal. $4 for a beer on draft is a bit steep but the burger at $7.50 was great. Will definitely go back. UPDATE: Returned to try the BBQ. It was extremely tender with homemade sauce that was tangy and delicious, not a huge portion but not tiny. Mashed potatoes were great again, as others mentioned avoid the slaw. We ate there Friday and the 14oz ribeye was more than half fat and the vegetables were cold (the place was less than half full). When I asked for new and warm vegetables the host had to argue with the kitchen. Also, my wife ate the salmon and was sick less than a half hour later and has been sick ever since. When the Keg was remodeled a couple of years ago the food and service were some of the best in the area. Sorry to say but we have been there several times over the past 6 months and the food and service have been mediocre at best. Our meal there on March 6th will probably be our last. My wife and I both ordered the pulled pork plate (BBQ is what the Keg is known for) the meat was cold but the deep fried sides were hot. My guess is they plated the BBQ and it set while the sides were cooking in the fryer. read more

We drove 14 miles to eat here. When we got there it was raining really hard. We got out of the car ran inside and stood there waiting for a table, we finally got one.
