We boarded our dog there and she became sick but they didn't tell us until we picked her up (rather than call us to let us know). We had actually been back in town for 2 days but because it was a weekend, we couldn't pick up our dog. We had to take her to the vet immediately upon picking her up and she died two days later. Earlier vet care could have improved her chances of survival. Very disappointed at the lack of communication and the state of our dog when we returned. This was in 2011 so I hope things have changed since then but this was devastating for our family. read more

If I could give a zero I would!! My husband and I went out of the country for 12 days. My sister offered to help us out and drop our dogs (they are like our children) off to help us out so we could catch our flight early. My reservation was with another facility my check was made out to the other boarding facility were we have always boarded our fur children. I'm upset with The Kennel because my sister dropped my dogs off at The Kennel instead of where we had reservations. The kennel didn't tell her she was at the wrong place. The Kennel just took my dogs from my sister without ANY INFORMATION ON MY DOGS!! Damn I didn't know a place could be so desperate for business. The Kennel had absolutely no information on my dogs, no shot records, no emergency contact information, they didn't even have my sisters phone number who had dropped them off, they didn't have feeding instructions, absolutely no information on my dogs at ALL because they didn't have my sister fill out any paperwork, and asked no questions!! We left my sister a check made out to the other boarding facility and the amount it would cost for our dog's stay. What really makes me ANGRY about all this is we would of never found out or known about this until we called our regular boarding facility to make a reservation. She let me know because we didn't give notice of cancelation and didn't show up we normally would have to pay half the reservation fee before we could board again but because we had never done it before she wouldn't charge the first time. I told her we have never not shown up or not called to cancel. She said she knew and that's why she was so surprised when we didn't show up because we had talked about my husband and I being out of the country wanted some picture updates and we wouldn't have international texting so she said not a problem she gave us her email. As soon as I hung up the phone with her I told my husband to find the check and what she said and I called me sister. My husband found the check our regurlar boarding facility name was scratched through and The Kennel was written above. My sister said when she took my dogs in the lady at The Kennel just took my dogs from her and walked them to the back. Never asked anything about my dogs or let my sister know she hadt brought them to the wrong boarding facility. I was so upset to find this out. I will never use The Kennel and I wouldn't recommend any facility that doesn't ask for shot records, feeding instructions, vet or emergancy contackt information. Very BAD PRACTICE!! They are damn lucky nothing happened to my dogs!! read more

i absolutely love the kennel. they are always able to get my dogs in and they are friendly. and my dogs always come out alive, so that's a good thing. But seriously, they have never gotten sick or anything from being boarded at The Kennel. They are really sweet ladies. Sometimes, they smell bad, but you can order a dog bath and they do a good job. Prices are very fair. For my 50 lb dog, I believe it's $12 per day. read more
