I started using the Andrews Veterinary Clinic in my early 20s. That was 20 years ago. Now that I am much older and wiser, it's still plain to see that Andrews is the best within 100 mile radius of my house located in New Mexico. They are the most affordable around. They are no nonsense. If it isn't necessary, they aren't going to bring it up & charge you for it like other vet offices. Most of the communication in the patient exam rooms is between the pet owner and the veterinarian, not the vet techs/assistants. I appreciate this because there's been times when other vets didn't spend much time listening to my concerns. This newish facility is very nice & mostly clean. There is one entrance for checkins. A separate door for exiting which makes things a little easier for large, anxious dogs. They have three veterinarians on hand... When I had to make a tough decision pertaining to my feline last winter, Dr. Hada was there every step of the way. This was a difficult time for me & he made sure I understood everything in addition to making me aware of the appropriate costs included. The entire office was very empathetic to my situation. Dr. Mohr administered vaccinations on my brother's pitbull today (5/9/2023). He was friendly & straightforward. Dr. Nave Culbertson has also helped me understand what was going on with a couple of my furry friends. She's very kind. I will definitely be back. I recommend all of my loved ones to go here! 3 stars might be a little harsh but after having to sit in the waiting room for 3 hours, I was a little frustrated. I understand that a "walk-in" clinic can be a good thing. But having an appointment can be a better thing. Now if they could have enough Vets to do appointments and walk-ins, that would be awesome. Now the service provided is very good. I was pleased with the reception, aides, and vet. I just had a hard time accepting that I lost over 5 hours of sleep time (I work nights and live one hour away) so my dog could get his vaccines. They wanted me to take my dog back for more vaccines a month later but would not make an appointment. They pride themselves in being the ONLY walk-in Vet Clinic. So if you've read this far, I will let you know that if your only concern is your pet's well-being and receiving good service, this place just might be a 5-star. read more

I started going to Andrews Veterinary Clinic in February 2024 when I purchased a Shihpoo. I took my Yogibear to get his vaccinations and they have always been kind and respectful even when they are extremely busy. My granddaughter suggested that I take him there even though we live an hour away. She has been going there for years. The staff have been friendly and welcoming. There are times they are rushed due to the busy day at hand but they will still take care of you in an orderly fashion. read more

First time taking my boy to this location being that we are new to this area, was very apprehensive to trusting a new veterinarian with my pet. Was lucky enough to talk with a pleasant young lady (at front desk) by the name of Jessie. We were seen by Dr. Hada in which was very thorough and kind. At first I was unsure of being all walk ins and no appointments but they really make it work! Very efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. Sure we've came across one unfriendly person at the front but the vet and rest of the staff made up for it. We drive 45 minutes one way to get there and will continue to. You can't beat getting your pet seen when they need it, without struggling to find a vet to squeeze you in. read more

Honestly, I am floored with the way I was treated today at this clinic. I called ahead of time that my female dog was in labor and had not had her first pup after more than an hour. I knew this was not normal so I called and spoke to Amanda who told me to bring her in as soon as possible. I get to the clinic and by this time my dog is shaking so I carry her in. This is where I still cannot understand what went wrong. This woman at the counter greets me and asks me what she can help me with. I tell her about the conversation I had on the phone and she is instantly rude with me. She says "well I don't know who you spoke to, you could have spoke to anyone." And in my head, I'm thinking, "ok, how is this relevant?" But instead I say, "Amanda". The next thing she says is "ok well Amanda is not here right now." At this point I'm pretty flabbergasted as to what is going on. I, at this point do not care who I talked to. All I know is my dog is in distress and I was told to bring her in as soon as possible. This is where I am STILL In shock as to what she said next! She says, "do you want me to help your dog or not?" We have some kind of exchange of words, where I had to hold back what I was really thinking because I was more concerned for the well being of my dog. She walked away, at this point I asked everyone in the waiting room if I was in the wrong; They all shook their heads to say no. Everyone else at this hospital has always been gracious but this woman was awful to me during a time of distress. My dog ended up being rushed into a C-Section so our situation was OBVIOUSLY AN EMERGENCY. I don't know what I did to set this woman off but she may need to consider a different career choice. read more

We moved to Andrews in 2006 and within a couple of weeks took our Shih Tzu Kizmet to the vets and introduced ourselves. They took excellent care of her for 12 yrs and when the time came for her to go to the Rainbow Bridge, Dr.Hada and Ann came to the house and helped her without pain to leave. We have one16yrs and a13yrs, and a 4 yr old. All at the clinic, doctors, Ann and the others who work there have always been very respective and caring when I have had to call and asked advice and Dr.Hada has even returned my calls....THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR TAKING SUCH GOOD CARE OF OUR FURBABIES, Charlie,Penny, Lucy and Peekaboo, you are all so special and treat us the same way, GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU AT THE CLINIC. read more

These guys, w/o knowing it; saved my catahoula's life. Not even one year old, the "bad" vet in Midland was ready to kill her for uncontrollable "allergies" that made her life unbearable. It was mange. Not the contagious kind but $3000 later we learn a nexguard dose or 2 would have cured her. These guys in Andrews are worth the drive, worth the wait, caring, considerate & compassionate professionals. My puppy is a puppy again. read more

Took my dog in to get neutered and he pooped on the floor right before going back. I was starting to take him outside when the vets assistant told me to stop and let him finish. I was all prepared to clean it up, and apologized for him, when the vet said "nothing like a dog pooping on a $__,___ Floor". I began to clean it up and the vet assistant put him on the scale, saying "it freaking stinks" like they don't work at a vets office and I'm sure deal with more than dog poop. read more

This clinic and its staff is awesome!! A feral kitten came up to us on our porch. She actually let us pick her up and love on her. We noticed something wrong with her mouth. It looked like it was torn up or rotting. I went to two different vets starting at 7:30 am. They would not see her. Drove 25 miles to Andrews. We had a very short wait time. The veterinarian (I do not know his name) was terrific. Will do surgery on her today and I can pick her up this afternoon. Price is very reasonable. I would highly recommend this clinic!!! P.S. the kitten will be joining our family indoors!! read more
