Leo from The Key Guy showed up to the parking garage next to my office in Palo Alto and duplicated my key fob for my 2023 Dodge Challenger GT in less than 30 minutes. I received a generic key fob that looks exactly the same but doesn't have the Dodge logo on the back. Either way, I'm not going to have to worry about losing the only key fob provided by the dealership. Leo was kind and patient explaining what needed to be done to the two blanks I had from the previous owner of my recently purchased used Honda Ridgeline. He was able to replace and transfer the original broken Honda Casing to one of the blanks and key a new blade to it leaving me the original as a spare to still use to open the doors if locked out. My second blank was missing a chip to start the car and the blade was wider then prescribed as well being poorly made in China. I hired Leo to rekey a lock and refit the lock with a Lockly electronic lock. The job ended up being much more complicated than anticipated because of complications with the Lockley unit not fitting properly. Ok I'm giving No star !!!! But had to press one . And I'm calling on yelp to remove this person from here he dose not deserve to have a business. I come to Yelp because I trust that they have good people to help. Although with this guy , that is not the case. My Son could have seriously been injured or even died. We went with this guy because my sons ignition and fob key did not recognize each other. So this guy said he could do it and I trusted him . It took him over a month . left came back ,left came back, said he broke apart said he needed to order or some excuse. excuse after excuse I really had to get on him and call and call until he finally came to fix it supposedly. Put it together tightened it up my son drove it for 2 days. Luckily he was turning into a driveway when something snapped and the steering wheel just went round and round no control what so ever ...could you imagine if he was in the freeway or turning a corner by the light rail. Just snapped and had no control. This was so dangerous and I am beyond mad. The Angels were watching over my son that day. Anyhow it set us back $600. And now we had to take it to another actual mechanic who told us the guy that worked on it forgot to put a part back and for sure didn't know what he was doing. It was just something simple like reprogramming it or something . He had the whole steering wheel out and all dashboard like everything!! there was a big whole . And I told him if he didn't know how to do it just tell me, and I will take it to somebody else but he insisted he knew. And in the end he wasn't even the one to finish he brought this young kid like 20 years old and he finished it obviously because he didn't know how, and neither did the kid. So please don't call on this guy. And hey guy if you want to clap back and say that I am wrong I could take you to court but I'm not... so own your mistake and don't do this to anybody else because it is wrong and if my son would have died you would have had to live with that for the rest of your life because I would have made sure of it. read more

I needed a duplicate key made for my 2022 Sienna and they were quick to respond so I went ahead and asked them to come and help me. The first appointment we made was at my place and he showed up late. After working for some time, he told me that he was missing a tool and that he would need to reschedule to the day after. He showed up late to that appointment again as well and after working for some more time, he told me that he was still having trouble and that he would reach back out and get me connected to someone he knew that could help. He never reached back out to me, even after I followed up with them. They seem nice and maybe this was an off-day for them, but it was pretty disappointing, especially since I reached out to another company that was able to come same day and take care of it for me. read more

I am so happy and grateful choosing Leo to be my Locksmith today. I am in a eviction lawsuit. Today is the lockout day. In the early morning I called Sheriff and was told to be there at the property together with a Locksmith within 30 minutes after getting a call from Sheriff. This is my first eviction case.
