Before I buckled my 2.5 year old in his car seat, I placed the keys in his cup holder. At some point while buckling him, the doors auto-locked. I did not realize that happened until after I closed the door -- unfortunately, with the keys still in the cup holder. As you can imagine, I panicked. Luckily, the van was parked in a partially shaded spot. However, the sun was shining through the windshield. I imagined the interior slowly heating up. He quoted me $80-$120 not knowing what he was up against. He arrived in about 20-25 minutes, gave me his ETA when he was about 5 minutes away. Adam was very professional and polite when we spoke, he brought a handful of tools and got right to work. He initially tried putting some inflatable bellows in the frame and tried to get a chisel in there to push the locking mechanism but with no luck. He also couldn't pick the lock on the Kwikset handle. He immediately didn't think he could as he stated they were tough to pick. Eventually he had to drill the lock out, which sucked, but it got us in. I would highly recommend Adam and Buddy's Locksmith if you are ever locked out of your house.
