Updated Review: I spent some time on the phone with this guy explaining that I only had a copy of my passport and I just moved and somehow my registration papers had been misplaced. I explained this to him so that neither of us would waste our time as I waited 1.5 hours for him. He assured me it wouldn't be a problem. However as soon as he saw me and my daughter, he gave me attitude and refused to help me even though I was polite and explained to him that I felt it very unprofessional of him to say he would create the key and then refuse service as soon as he saw me. Maybe there is a language barrier? That may be an issue for him, I can only guess. And yes I see race as I am black and have had people mistreat me and my family because of our race, so when you say you will do something over the phone and then as soon as you see me, you refuse, I can only come to one conclusion. A technician would call to arrange the time. 5 min later, someone e said they could come asap. I needed the next day. So they said that was fine. What they neglected to tell me was it would be a subcontractor who would come. I asked when scheduling if they could give me a ballpark idea of cost. I was told it would depend on what lock I picked. When the tech came, I wasn't given a choice of lock. All he had were one style for 89$each. First said the front door would be lock switch at 65$. Back door 125 as it was considered a new install since he had to redo the door to fit the lock. Ok fine. He got to work then asked for a vacuum. I thought cool he's gonna clean up the mess. It took 1.5 hours to install a deadbolt on the back door and he didn't clean up! Vacuumed once in th3 beg and the. Left all his crap on the floor and strewn about. Screwd on the floor pieces of the door etc. Next we get to the front door. The easier of the 2. Now he looks at us and says oh this will be more. 69$ more. Um why? ALEX the tech says, because it will be more work than I thought. It took hom 39 min so why did we have to pay more for something that took less work than the other door? Again he left crap everywhere. Old rotor disc pads, screws, metal pieces from the door that were sharp! And the name on his invoice?emergency locksmith. I never said it was an emergency. 490$ later he is done. Way overcharged us.

I paid $149, and my lock is now in worse condition than it was before the service call. Before his visit, the lock was difficult to use but still functioned. After he left, the key no longer works in the doorknob lock at all. When the problem became apparent, I was told to choose between having two different keys for the same door or accepting that the lock would remain unreliable. Neither option addressed the issue I had called to have fixed. Plus, now the key doesn't work in the lock at all! The entire experience was frustrating and disappointing. I hope the company will reach out and make this right. If so, I would be happy to reflect that in an updated review.

Story time : I had a locksmith come out to replace a key I had lost. It felt a little fishy to me because I had just drove the car not too long ago. A little later in the afternoon I had reached out to Yaniv asking for their opinion and he came right over and worked his magic. Yaniv was educating me during the process to keep me involved with what was going on and explained that overtime the ignition system would crap out due to the car being a 2007.
