Mid meal break at sunset. Gorgeous!

First of all, make sure you come early to explore the grounds - the estate is breathtaking. Second, the food is outstanding...! Each course was unique and flavorful. The highlight was one of the simplest - the pasta with tomato sauce was bursting with flavor. The main course steak was actually the least favorite- a touch dry and lacking flavor but now I'm being picky. It is very expensive when you add the pre-fix meal + bonus foie gras + wine, but we knew that coming in.

All around an incredible experience! The property is stunning and peaceful, the food was as good as it gets in southern Washington and the wines were great. The service alone was worth the trip. Sundown and crew made us feel like a part of the family. Anyone looking for a top notch dining experience that highlights the purity of amazing ingredients needs to give this place a try. We can't wait to come back again and hope all our friends and family check it out soon.

Holy moly! So delicious! The night before we ate at Kinglet so we had pretty high expectations for another amazing meal and this did not disappoint. The property here is absolutely beautiful. One of the prettiest places in Walla Walla we visited. Our sever was super friendly, knowledgeable and down to earth and his wine pours were very generous and so appreciated. The food was out of this world amazing. Every single course we had was a bite of heaven. I was dying worth each bite. Would highly recommend anyone come here for an awesome culinary experience.

Loved the tree lined entrance and small barn where dinner is served, so cozy. The Abeja team did an amazing job. The food was so delicious, beautiful presentation and perfect portions and the wine pairings were out of this world. Nice cozy, setting beautiful dinner space absolutely will be back.

The Kitchen at Abeja was an amazing experience. The grounds are beautiful. The dining area was beautiful. The staff were amazing. The food and wine pairings were perfect. Really, a perfect evening.

Seldom does a restaurant earn 5 Stars and an A + review. The Kitchen at Abeja served one of the finest meals my wife and I have ever experienced. Further, we stayed the night and the breakfast was both delicious and creative! I cannot give these folks a better rating. We will travel from Boise to stay again!!!

This restaurant just opened in July of 2021, and it's a bit hard to find until they add signage. It's not in the Inn at Abeja, but next to the winery. So when you go up the driveway and park you need to walk to the back and right. For a restaurant so newly opened, they are doing a lot of things right, and I'm pretty sure this is the most upscale dining experience in Walla Walla. The dining room is under the experienced direction of Tom Uberuaga. Winemakers Dan Wampfler and Amy Alvarez-Wampfler also visited our table. The tasting menu was created by Elodie Li, a young chef trained at Le Cordon Bleu in Seattle, and with Michelin experience in France. She also made a point of visiting diners' tables. Highlights of the tasting menu included a wonderfully complex Amuse Bouche of cherry tomatoes, and a stunning dessert with flavors of blood orange and Earl Grey. Chef Li notes she isn't a pastry chef, but she certainly could be! We also enjoyed the Tenderloin course, especially the oyster mushrooms in Cabernet jus. As one would expect of a brand new restaurant, there were a few missteps, but nothing major. The dining room was much too bright, but Tom indicated dimmers were already being installed. It is also a bit noisy, but that may be addressed with some softer floor treatments. Service needs a little polish, and some dishes would have been better served on warm plates, but overall everything was quite good. A wine pairing of Abeja wines is available and fairly priced, although a broader range of wines might find better matches with the food. Over all I would say this is a must -stop restaurant for all foodies visiting Walla Walla.

    Personal chef loving the food.

This is fine dining, best meal we have ever had. It was multiple courses and each was as delicious as the last. The environment was great and so was the service. Perfect way to spend our third anniversary and will be back soon!

Seven course dinner with wine pairing was absolutely awesome. One of the best meals I've ever had and the presentation was over the top. Service was 5 star!!!! And the grounds are just beautiful.

The presentation of the food was great and taste was even better. The K-Sammy is VERY messy but so delicious. Calamari was tender and the dipping sauce was incredible. Not gonna lie, the Pork Cheeks wasn't me or my wifes favorite. But it really wasn't bad. *Lesson of leaving a 5 star before you leave the restaurant....the service was..alright..we had our card out waiting for the check for honestly about 30min or so and it wasnt busy. Room for improvement. We still genuinely enjoyed our visit.

We were seated quickly and it wasn't too busy so we were able to get a booth seat. The inside was nice and the booth was comfy. I decided to try a few items from the happy hour menu. Got an IPA for $8. Started with the k-pop wings. They were delicious and juicy and had a great flavor, and I enjoyed the sauces it came with. Also got the lamb burger. Honestly pretty disappointed. It was pretty dry, with barely any sauces and the bread made it more dry so it was hard to eat. The lamb was pretty good but wasn't the best. I also wish it came with fries or something else as a side. Finally got the Bibimbap with tofu. It was beautifully plated and had a lot of toppings but the rice was inedible. It seems to be at least a day old, not fresh, and it was not warm at all. The rice made it hard for me to enjoy as that was majority of the dish. The tofu was pretty good but overall I wouldn't return here unless for the k-pop wings. After dropping off the bill our waitress didn't come back at all so we had to wait a long time to get checked out, even another waiter had to come in and check us out because he realized she didn't come back. Kinda disappointed :/

We both ordered meat, because it's what's for dinner! The pork chop and the New York specifically. With the blistered beans and wood stone potatoes. All seasoned very well and delicious. For startes, we ended up ordering the Pork Rulette, which was excellent. They even brought us more bread to enjoy it with. I think the biggest downside is the price, but we were finding everything in Walla Walla to be expensive. When in wine country, pay wine prices. I'd have preferred beer prices. Ensure you make reservations, the person that recommended the place mentioned it and we would agree. While it was almost empty when we arrive, it was full by the time we left with a wait.

She took care of party of 6 that ranged in ages from 44-86 with lots of laughter and fun. Every single thing we had was phenomenal - from the cocktails to starters to entrees and dessert, I was a fan of every bite. Starters: Salted Fries: perfectly crispy and seasoned with the best homemade fry sauce Ahi Wontons: great fish quality, crispy wontons and awesome sauce Mains: Three of us ordered the rotating steak and with three different cooking preferences, they nailed all three. Two of us got the Gochujang Glazed Tofu and it was delicious. The two sauces that came with could be added to make it to your liking. Our friend is vegan and they were able to customize it with no issue. Ahi Tuna: perfectly seared and delicious. Desserts: Zucchini Cake was a healthy portion and well-balanced. The star of dessert was the salted butterscotch ice cream. In a collab with Pine Cone Creamery, I couldn't stop eating it. The restaurant is gorgeous, still preserving some of the old pieces of it while modernizing it. Eating in the wine barrels or the private spaces looked special as well. What a treat, can't wait to come back when we are in town again!

The first thing is coming in you get that rustic lodge feeling from the woodwork and decor as you get hit with that smokehouse aroma. No better way to get you hungry and set the mood for BBQ. Just yum! Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. She was attentive and checked in but never intrusive, hovering and did not ignore us once served. Tried a flight with Huckleberry, Berry, Cinnamon, Espresso and Walla Walla Sweet Onion (they "tree in" the espresso). Could take or leave the berries espresso and cinnamon were fantastic while the onion was interesting. Had a Bloody Mary with the onion and it was good. One table mate had the loaded potato with Mac and cheese and pulled pork. The noodles were bigger than skinny boxed and very tender. The cheese was creamy and flavorful and the pulled pork was tender and juicy and jam packed with flavor but could have been a bit more smoky. For the food: I got a small BBQ platter which came with 3-meat choices , a dinner roll and a single side choice. I chose baked beans for my side. Tri-tip, ribs and brisket for my meats. I tasted the beans nothing special but tasty. Same for the roll. The ribs were fall off the bone tender, juicy and meaty! I got three 3"-4" ribs. I also had a small pile of super thin sliced tender juicy and flavorful tri-tip and three 1/4-1/2" thick slices of brisket. The brisket was moist and had a good smoke flavor as well. I ate all the ribs, half the tri-tip and a slice of brisket. The rest went home with me as this was a hearty serving. From the moment you walk in, you can feel how much pride and passion goes into everything they do. This isn't just a restaurant; it's a family pouring their heart into their craft. The backstory alone is inspiring -- from perfecting a coffee liqueur recipe years ago to building a full distillery and now a restaurant that's quickly becoming a local favorite. On our visit, we tried a little bit of everything: the legendary Texas Twinkies, hearty Loaded Baked Potatoes, the signature Cedar Rain Sandwich, and the savory Brisket Dip. Every bite tasted like it came from years of practice, care, and a true love of good food. And the drinks? Absolute perfection. The Peach Green Tea Cocktail was bright and refreshing, and the Lavender Lemonade Mocktail was every bit as crafted as a cocktail -- thoughtful, balanced, and locally inspired.
