We got the red flight and the nonalcoholic flight. We also tried the NA bubbles and rose. Very big selection of NA wines so that was cool for the ones who didn't drink alcohol. The food was yummy. The location is absolutely stunning, but not enough to redeem Waterbrook as a place I would come back to. We started off a bachelorette weekend with a reservation here. We were coming from Tri-Cities after a flight, so felt lucky to arrive about 15 minutes early. There were very few patrons - I believe it was a Wednesday around 2 PM, so this wasn't surprising, but we assumed they would be able to seat us without a problem because of this. Wrong. When we walked in, communicated our reservation to who I assume was the manager, she acted like we had arrived hours early. She told us our table wasn't ready yet, so she could seat us at a different one outside. This turned out to be a huge blessing because it was a beautiful day, but also they were painting inside, so the whole place smelled terrible. I have no idea why she was so put out, but I was also confused why they would seat anyone in heavy paint fumes. Our waitress was lovely and super knowledgeable, which was great. I ordered a side salad to snack on, which was pretty bland and dry, and I didn't love the Sauvignon Blanc that I ordered as it was a little sour for me. read more

Went for a visit on a family outing. The venue, as well as the wine, food, and outdoor facilities, were great. Would definitely visit again.

Stopped by after an overnight stay at the parent vineyard and a wine sale nearby! Wonderful grounds and patio area, with a large pond and vegetation. Service and food was okay - menu options have great potential, but did not quite satisfy. Server seemed spread thin, but pleasant. Wine was great, enjoyed my white flight and would definitely buy a bottle of the 2021 Mélange Founder's White Blend or the 2031 ICON Viognier. Now looking forward to trying some of my other Waterbrook bottles. read more

If you're looking for a glass of wine, great snacks, and lawn games, this is your spot. It's a bit out of town for 'Walla Walla Proper', but It's worth the journey. Big list of wines by the glass (or bottle!) and 3 different tasting flights. I was testing out the location since I have a friend visiting who prefers white wines and I will definitely bring her here since the list for whites is long and they have a white wine focused tasting! What an incredible experience. Our first winery visit of the day was a bit of a bust so my expectations were not high rolling into a winery I'd never heard of. We were welcomed by many employees the minute we walked in. Service was fantastic, great variety of many good red wines (personally liked the Cabs and Dolcetto). Nice stopping place. Servers are all friendly, wearing face masks still. Would give them a 3 for their wines. Did the tasting flight. Otherwise would give them a 4 for their facilities and just the nice patio area to enjoy the outdoors and trees. The food here was delicious and the wine flights were amazing- we actually drove an hour and a half to come there. When it comes to food, we ended up ordering the cheeseboard and bacon jam smoked cheddar burger as we were told we couldn't order one of the flatbreads because they were "out" of their flatbreads. They also couldn't serve fried food as their fryer wasn't set up due to getting a new one. It was disappointing that although we couldn't order the flatbreads, the people who were seated after us were able to...as they were "rolling out the flatbread" now- we were told they were out. read more

Wish I could leave a zero start rating. Went out here with a couple of friends celebrating a birthday.... Customer service was not good. Multiple times we asked for drinks to many different waitresses since ours wouldn't come by and kept getting the same answer, "we'll have that right now for you" 15-20 min later and still nothing. I don't like to say "discrimination" but it sure felt that way. It was not a busy day as there was only 2 other tables with customers, but our table (all Latino people) was the only table not getting serviced. Waterbrook is one of those places we love to visit whenever we are in the area. The grounds are stunning, the wine selection is very good, and their modern rustic industrial decor is always on point. While having to do a reservation during the pandemic, and following rules put a time constraint on our visit, the experience was still excellent. This time around we ordered from the brunch menu. My husband enjoyed a flight of Icon wines while I had a rosé with my entree. The food came out fairly quickly, and was very delicious. We aren't really brunch people yet we enjoyed our meal very much because the ingredients were fresh and the selection had something for everyone. The place was full and was starting to get busier when we left. It's a very popular spot, and although we weren't rushed to leave, we felt it was better to leave than overstay our welcomed. Protections were in place to make ensure safety, and if we had had more time we would have played a game of Bocce or walked around. It's a good place to bring your pet and relax under the trees or in the sunlight. A must see for those who are new to the area. read more

What a beautiful winery! Their patio is amazing. This was our first time to Walla Walla so we were just checking out some wineries. The servers were really friendly and the place has a lot of really great things in the gift shop. My review is about the wines. We tried their Icon flight which is supposed to be their high end wine. We were really turned off by all the wines and ended up leaving them almost full which is not like us to leave wine behind. The wines were sweet and jammy which just isn't our style. It ended up giving me a headache and my girlfriend was a bit nauseous after drinking them. With as much money they put into that tasting room, I think they should invest in the wine making itself. read more

Beautiful place. The willow trees are so charming, as is the pond. We didn't do a tasting (we have Waterbrook wine locally in our stores and we buy it) but I did have a glass of the trusted Malbec. The flatbreads were great. The balsamic drizzle makes the dish. read more

We stopped here on our bicycle ride. Very nice place and great outdoor seating. At the end I bought the Petit Syrah which was not in the tasting flight. For lunch we had the steak panini with fries and the salad and pumpkin soup. The fries were cold but they have me an extra order hot fries topped with parmesan and parsley, very nice service. We had so far 7 wine tastings in n Walla Walla and I must say their Whites and Roses are my favorites. Some Reds I like but most of them are very dry at the end and you need to take a big sip to taste the flavors. Just doing these wines don't bring out their flavors. read more

Gorgeous property! This is the place you should stop for lunch and bring the kids. They have a milk or juice flight for the kiddos, bocce ball, and a nice pond to walk around. Wine flights seemed meh, so we did the mimosa tasting for two which included three juices each and a bottle of brut or Demi-sec. Saturday's and Sunday's they have brunch. Contrary to many sites, a sign posted no dogs allowed in tasting room or patio when food is present (which is potentially all the time). Left frustrated because our weekend agenda was partially built around the numerous sites that listed them as dog friendly. We are always very cautious in taking our dog anywhere even though he is small and well-travelled. We didn't want to board our dog on a holiday (fireworks!) weekend so we planned our vacation around one that we could take him many places. Walla Walla and their wineries were named. Waterbrook came up multiple times. (https://www.winemag.com/2012/06/28/dog-friendly-tasting-rooms/) and on bringfido.com. I am fully accepting when a place is not dog friendly, and understand health regularions. However, in my quest to be courteous, I want it called out on their site (I did exhaustive checking!), especially when there is so much misinformation online. read more

I love the grounds and the beautiful patio. The wine is good but in the past few years the service has degraded badly. When you come to wine country you are here for an experience and this is not a good one. We just attended on Mother's day and when we walked in the door we were barely greeted with a hello. Our table service was beyond slow and over all with all the wineries in the area I will not be making a point of coming here again. read more

I so wanted this lunch to be fabulous. The first wine we tasted was truly amazing. A Viognier. Delightful. The best I've had. However the pork belly sandwich was horrific! It was burned with three small pieces of meat on a large sandwich. We so enjoyed this winery! We did the white and red tasting which were generous pours. Ordered a charcuterie tray which was more than enough for the 2 of us. Our server Caroline was absolutely the sweetest and excellent at her job. We took home a couple bottles of Sauvignon blanc and a merlot , which are very reasonably priced. We had our dog with us and Caroline thoughtfully brought her a water bowl. We loved our experience here and can't wait to visit again! read more

My husband and I came here for lunch to celebrate our anniversary. This was absolutely the worst service I have ever received in my 34 years. I don't even know if you can call it service because we were never served and were completely ignored. After being sat we flagged down a waitress to order after about 15 minutes. 30 minutes after being sat, we still hadn't received our drinks. I've worked in restaurants in the past and am generally pretty patient. This was beyond any experience in the past. After 30 minutes we walked out. Eight women made reservations weeks in advance for lunch at Waterbrook as part of our girls' weekend. We were seated right away but then were ignored for 30 minutes. After 20 minutes, one of us talked to our server and was told they would get to us when they could. After waiting another 10 minutes, we got up to leave. There was no attempt made to rectify the situation or get us to stay. We moved on to Three Rivers, where we had wonderful service. read more

It pains me to give a business two stars, but Waterbrook unfortunately earned them--and nothing more. The architecture and interior design contributed nothing positive to our experience. Service was without warmth or kindness. The food was very good--we loved almost everything--but the taste was compromised by the mediocre wines. We went to Waterbrook for the wine experience, and their "Icon" flight offering, supposedly their best, left much to be desired. And the non-refundable signs all over the menu made the place look cheap. These folks need a redesign from bottom to top, starting with their wine. Meanwhile, visitors to Walla Walla have an abundance of excellent wine offerings available to them, only elsewhere. read more
