Listen to the reviews:( -Being in such a cute happy place like Provincetown I was pretty surprised at the owner's attitude. -The owner was not welcoming, didn't acknowledge us, and seemed annoyed we were in her store. -Selection was cheap toys, some kites, and a few trinkets but I found a cute metal oyster and a metal lighthouse for $6 each (it's a bit much but hey it's a souvenir) I went to pay and she told me it was cash only on anything less than $25. -Nothing in that store is worth $25 so I'm not sure how they are staying open. You can get everything in that store from the dollar general or another souvenir store for much cheaper without someone making you feel uncomfortable. I'm visiting from out of state and was pretty disappointed in my experience. Please listen to the reviews and don't give them your business. read more

Biggest rip off in town! They try to sell you worthless crap they bought from China for ridiculous money. The people working there are clueless and could not less helpful or knowledgeable. Brought my 7 year old to tears upon not letting him return an 11 dollar item which was false advertising as to what it really does. This after spending 3 visits there to the tune of at least 100 dollars. You people should be ashamed of yourselves. read more

This review is written by my almost 10 year old son who went to the kite store with his friend to buy a ball or another toy. They bought 2 toys there the day before as well. I gave them money and waited outside. They are going to school alone in Brooklyn so going to buy a ball alone I thought was easy. However, I did not think the owner of the store would be so mean to any kids. I can't believe her. Here is what my son and his friend want to say: Don't go to the kite store. No matter what! The toys are made in China and junk and break right away and the owner is mean and unfriendly. She does not like kids. When we went there with money to buy something and the owner said if you are not buying anything, get out. Out.' She treated us like we were dogs. When our parents asked her why she is mean to the kids when they were simply looking at toys and balls to buy she said 'the kids were looking at SHIT in the cooler' Language lady. Then she called Jack a 'smart ass'. We regret buying toys there the day before. My dad took a little video of her which we will post on youtube. The kite store is horrible. We want to give it zero stars but we have to put one star to be able to post this. read more

Cute little kite shop with cute women manning the counter. They're limited in what the store can carry but overall it's a great weekend warrior kite shop. Some traction kites available and a good selection of inexpensive kites for kids. read more

My son was yelled at by owner after one of his kites outside of store hit my son in the face (from the wind). As my son was getting ready to move, the owner yelled at him that if the kite broke, he was paying for it. I ignored it at first because I didn't think he was talking to my son. Then the owner walked into store and yelled at him again, saying, "Break it, I dare you!" This was right after we bought over $100 worth of merchandise from his store AND spent about 1/2 hour flying the kites we just bought right outside of his store. We used to come every year, but we will NEVER buy anything from this store again. read more

I have shopped at this store several times and twice under the new owner. Cheryl was helpful today, spent a long time searching for a repair part for my stunt kite, and didn't charge me anything. I was surprised to see a couple very negative reviews of this business. Some people on vacation expect that store owners will make them the center of attention and tolerate any sort of disruptive behavior from their children. It's very easy for anyone to take two minutes and vent about a business on the internet based on one expeience from a biased pont of view. If you want a nice kite, from a single line kite for a child to a $300 advanced stunt kite, go see Cheryl. read more

I have been going to this kite store for many years buying stuff for my kids. This time, I bought three kites, one of which would lean to the left when airborne. I went back to get an exchange, but right away I started getting resistance. The shop keeper insisted on testing it. She tried to test it with only 6 feet of string and claimed it was fine, and she would not take it back. When I showed her the problem with a longer lead, she refused to acknowledge the swerving. She had bottomless explanations of how the product was still good, but I would need to buy a tail. She said she would be glad to give me a "deal". I got so mad, I took my kite and left. I will not go back to this shop because of their lack of trustworthiness. read more
