The bartender, I think her name is Molly. Was taking shots behind the bar, she was exceptionally rude and very drunk. Won't be back.

That said, the food has some catching up to do. The complimentary bruschetta is a nice touch in concept but the execution falls flat. The bread is a basic sourdough with a thin, uneven drizzle of olive oil and herbs. Some pieces arrived nearly bare. A little more care and consistency here would go a long way. For my entrée I tried a salmon pasta special. The salmon itself had a lovely texture, which gave me hope but the sauce threw everything off. It was oddly sweet which clashed with what should have been a savory balanced dish. It's not bad enough to send back but it's not something I'd order again. Overall, this spot has a solid foundation with its friendly and efficient service. It was a pleasant enough experience but don't come with sky-high expectations for the plate.

We had the beet salad to start which was just perfect. The truffle burrata mousse was something I've never had before and it added a light creaminess to the dish. My friend had the pasta de la nonna and I had the special of the night. The pasta de la nonna was delicious, flavorful, and the noodles were something I've never fresh! It was more than just a red sauce. My ravioli was filled with something delicious (I wish I could remember now lol what it was). We had tiramisu for dessert since it was her birthday. We were pretty excited to order and stoked for the food here, so the meh service was really a bummer. We also were seated in the back, and it was really hot in that room. If I had it to do over again, I'd request the restaurant area up front. Overall, we'd go back to give it another go. But there was room for improvement for sure.

Even going on a Monday night, it was packed with people, however, we were able to snag a table for two without a reservation right away. The service was attentive and helpful. I got the full portion of the smoked mushroom ravioli and I absolutely loved it. I appreciated that the portion was quite large because too often ordering ravioli means you barely get any pasta. The sauce was decadent, savory, smokey, and had a hint of sweetness, which pulled everything together.

Our server was friendly and quick. She answered questions and described the specials. They have gluten free focaccia!!!! It was super yummy, but it was also served kinda cold. Worth it. We ordered the fresh catch, which was halibut with some potatoes and grilled asparagus. The accompanying sauces were delicious. The asparagus was good. The white potatoes though had been cooked previously and weren't reheated enough. They were described as new potatoes but were definitely large chunks of russets. They were hard to eat. So we didn't. We also had the Punta di Fesa which is a braised beef dish with mushrooms on polenta. The balsamic mushrooms and polenta were so flavorful and delicious. It was a good thing that my husband started with this dish (we traded halfway through and had plenty to eat!) because I would have eaten his share of the polenta too. The beef however was dry and not what I would have expected from a braised beef. When we were given a knife, we were told we probably wouldn't need it. We did. The service here was friendly and helpful. Our server was knowledgeable about gluten free needs and recommended a great bottle of wine that went well with our fish AND the beef (which is tricky...yummy Chianti AND half price!). It was pretty busy for a Tuesday night at 7. There were people that ended up waiting but not too long. There are shelves of Italian goods all around you. My husband said he felt like he was eating in a store. You kind of are, but it was still cozy. I plan to come back to try the gluten free pasta and maybe a lunch sandwich if they have solid gf options there. Also, the dessert menu looked great. We were just full.

The stetting is bigger than I thought, and it had a great, up tempo vibe. Our server, Anna was simply tremendous. She was quite fun, and very efficient. Just a phenomenal restaurant and we will now be back Sept. 1st to celebrate our Dad & Mom, (Father & Mother in law anniversary). We are so anxious.

While…read morethe food was tasty and of good quality, and the service top notch, it is VERY expensive for primarily pizza and pasta. Even more so for other dishes. I couldn't get past the prices. For example, two Arancini balls for $16. And a skimpy pour ( maybe five swallows) of red wine was $17. But more disappointing was that our 45th anniversary "special occasion" wasn't so special after all. The majority of restaurants anywhere will usually bring a complimentary appetizer or dessert to a person or couple celebrating a special life event. Isn't that why restaurants always ask on the online form if guests are celebrating some special occasion? We didn't even get bread. All we got was a wax chicken with a candle in the center and the waiter did say "Happy anniversary." Would it kill you to comp a $10 dessert when we're dropping $158 on dinner for two? Most restaurants offer something and guests usually expect it. Otherwise, why bother mentioning it? It left a bad taste in our mouths, and for these reasons, I don't know if we'd return.
