I really enjoyed my time here! I came in on a Wednesday because they usually have a live preformer on Wednesdays, but they didn't have one this day. I believe they will pick back up with performances in the spring. I was able to sample some wines behind the bar that weren't in the dispenser for free and also got 1 oz. pours from the dispenser for a small fee (I think around $2). I really enjoyed the Riesling (forgot the name of it). It was on the sweeter side, so I loved it. I also enjoyed the charcuterie board. It's not a customizable one but it was perfect. Good for a solo outing or date night. Isabelle (hope I spelled her name right) was so awesome! She was nice to talk to and made great recommendations.

Fairly new wine bar near RTC! We came here for a friend's birthday, so she reserved the high top table for 8 and the sofa seating area. It's not a super big spot, so just be aware that you might also want to make a resi if going with a big group. You can purchase wine by the glass/bottle, or purchase a tasting card to try pours of different wines at the self-service machines. I opted for the tasting card, so I could sample multiple red wines (1 oz or 5 oz pours). I enjoyed the Tempranillo red (Spain) and both red blends they had (France) the most. Also tried the merlots from the U.S. They also had fridges of other drinks and available for purchase. For food, the only options were charcuterie boards of various sizes or packaged charcuterie from the fridge as well. Since the machines are self-service, there wasn't much interaction with the staff, aside from purchasing the tasting cards and closing out your tab, but they still do include an automatic 18% service charge on your bill. There is a parking garage conveniently next door, but the wine bar doesn't validate the parking tickets just FYI.

This is the area with the wine machines. You can chose your pour and your wine.

Looking for a new place to enjoy a glass of wine, nibble on a charcuterie platter, and catch up with friends? Well, The Lady Vintner, has all of the above. I had the chance to meet the owner, Ciara, at the Montgomery County Food and beverage show. They had not opened yet and I discovered they had opened, while shopping with a friend. They have been open for 3 months. Xavier, the owner's son gave us a tour and explained the different areas of the business. You can buy small or large glass pours from the 3 wine machines on one side of the shop. There is also a gorgeous bar area where you can order drinks while sitting at the bar. And, there are some tables where you can sit with friends and order wine and food. Wines rotate and they are open to suggestion. It is a lovely wine bar and if you're not into wine, they have a good selection of beer, that after you purchase it, you can enjoy with all of your wine loving friends. Did I mention that this is a women owned and black owned business? So, support your local small business and have a wonderful time with your friends. Okay, who is ready to join me for a drink? Cheers!

Had a fab wine down Sunday at The Lady Vintner. We were so excited to try not only a Black-owned wine bar..but a Black woman owned wine bar in the heart of Rockville! The owner, the amazing Ciara, who, along with her son Xavier, made sure our group had a wonderful experience. Both were incredibly gracious and welcoming from the moment we walked in. This cozy spot features self-serve wine machines where you can sample whites, reds, and rosés by the ounce or the glass. They also offer curated charcuterie boards and a beautiful selection of wines from around the world, available by the bottle. The vibe is so chill and inviting, it honestly didn't feel like we were in the middle of Rockville at all. Playlist was also on point! I highly recommend checking this spot out!

Vegan charcuterie board! So perfect with our wine

Fabulous wine bar in Town Center! I love the chill vibe & cool music. The layout is great for conversation or chilling by yourself. And the wine "vending machine" - Love it! Great selections of wine from all over the globe. And let me tell you - the charcuterie boards - all made to order are incredible! My vegan friend ordered a board that Quinn put together & it was amazing. The bonus is parking was easy. I'll be back a bunch

    Love R Rose

I picked up the Love R Rosé. I haven't opened it yet, but the bottle and packaging are beautiful. I was in and out during my visit, and the experience was smooth. I'd definitely come back for a wine tasting

I went to the Lady Vintner wine tasting event on Tuesday. It was a great event. It was bit crowded. The inside was very nice. They have wine on the walls. At the event had cheese and fruit which was nice. The service was nice. They three wine stations. They sell beer, snack packs, chips, etc.

Red in the signature glass. Isn't the logo cool?

This gorgeous venue is sure to be my new favorite place. I hesitate to share how lovely it is for fear of it getting too crowded. With seating for about thirty, the space has been transformed from its previous iteration, Pour Vino and Hops. There are three wine stations- four bottles of each- a white, a red and a rose, where patrons can select a small, medium or a large tasting/glass. The small is one ounce, the medium is 2.5-3 ounces and the full glass is 5-6 ounces. Once you give the tender a credit card, you get a The Lady Vintner card and a glass. You can select from any of the twelve options from the stations. The choices are stellar! For nibbles, they offer three sizes of charcuterie, accommodating any dietary restrictions, though, there would be very few choices for a gluten-free vegan. We ordered the medium board and it was stunning and very yummy. There are plenty of other options for beer or non alcoholic drinks in the cooler, and they have a relatively reasonable corkage fee. Other snacks are available for sale as well. Check it out- I'll definitely be back.

Loved it. The vibe, the service, the prices. Wine and charcuterie was awesome. Great place to hang out. Love that it's local.

Lovely setting, good selections of wines that rotate regularly, great service. Give it a try.

We reserved a private space with a private tasting, which made the day feel extra special and perfect for a large group. For many of our guests, it was their first time visiting this location, and everyone had such a great time. One of the co-founders, Greg, personally led our tasting and was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, welcoming, and checked on us throughout the afternoon to make sure everything was going smoothly. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. I also appreciated that some friends who don't drink were still able to enjoy themselves thanks to the non-alcoholic options. The property itself is beautiful with scenic views, plenty of space to relax, and such a peaceful atmosphere. We had amazing weather the day we visited, which made it even more memorable. If you are looking for a great place for a birthday, celebration, group outing, or just a relaxing day with friends, I highly recommend! We will definitely be back.

There was PLENTY of seating still - lots of large and small tables scattered throughout the property. They also have seating inside the winery at a small bar. The wine itself was really nice; we had several bottles of the rose at the table. It was light, crisp, and easy to sip in the nice weather. I was impressed that they also had 2 non alcoholic wines; the non drinkers in our group were happy to have some options made just for them (which were delicious also). There is a third party pizza business that had food offerings; we had many different types of their pizza which were all good. Very smart to have a food option for folks to enjoy while we sip our wine. Overall, the property is wonderfully maintained and the wines meet all expectations. I'd recommend giving this spot a try if you're looking for a nice winery north of the beltway!

Manisha and Prashsant, owners of Stone Manor Inn, were personally involved in making sure all went smoothly with our cocktail and dinner party, and it most certainly did! SMI is a lovely old country inn on 14 acres, I believe, with a number of different venues (indoors and out) for meetings, parties, and weddings. The rooms (7 in total) were eclectic, in a good way. All four of their largest rooms that we occupied were spacious, with king beds and spa tubs with separate showers. All were well maintained and clean upon check-in. We had no complaints. I'm not sure when we will return to the area, but when we do, we will not hesitate to return!

I was on the fence to book this place given its hefty price tag, and glad I went for it and completely agree with the glowing 5 star reviews. The bubbly host Manisha is very warm and welcoming. She cordially gave us a 20 min tour around the property, which was built in 1908, and even gave me a bonus tour of the other rooms afterwards. She kindly answered all of our questions and didn't rush us. The Peacecock Room is the most spacious and best room (aside from the bridal suite), elaborately decorated in peacocks. We loved it! The little touches like the handmade soap, a set of wine glasses, and a wine opener made the stay so memorable and special. While the rooms aren't temperature controlled, the electric flameless fireplace kept the room warm. The double capacity jacuzzi was perfect for my hubby and I and even had lights (some of the other rooms have smaller jacuzzi, so be sure to check). The rooms were clean minus a couple of lady bugs and stink bugs (which is too be expected out in the country). Dr. Fauci's assistant stayed here and Manisha informed us of the extensive sanitation process, even the pillows and decorations are quarantined for 6 days! The backyard is well groomed and really spacious with a nice patio and heat lamp, which kept us warm sitting outside in the frigid winter. Our dog loved running around! You can see the stars and constellations really well. It would make a great wedding venue! The Christmas decorations around the property are really nice. The owners really go the extra mile and put a lot of TLC into the property. The 6 course breakfast is delicious and bursting with flavor. Between the veggie quiche, cheesy potatoes, scone, pancakes, yogurt, and fresh OJ, I was stuffed! The fresh butterscotch scone was divine and devoured my mine and my hubby's! The cheesy potato had a nice spicy kick. Everything was so fresh and delicious. All the courses come out at once on a large tray. While my hubby and I chose to sit at the communal table (the chairs are roughly 6 feet apart), you can take the tray up to your room. Manisha and her family greeted us and thoroughly explained the dishes and chatted with us for a bit, even her son made an appearance! The bed and breakfast has a nice bar with wine, cider, and alcohol based on an honor code system. Water and soda is complementary, they even had Coke 0! The complementary fudgy brownies by the breakfast area during the day were sweet and tasty. Again the little complimentary stuff gives this bed and breakfast a nice resort feel. Very relaxing stay and looking forward to coming back!
