Food? What food? We never received any food. Service? That doesn't exist at this place. Ambiance is not the over served drunk yelling at the bar. This is a bar focused business not a restaurant. To be fair they told us they were short staffed but there were four people behind the bar. Our waitress took our order brought us our drinks and disappeared into the night. She must've been a fairy as we saw her flitting around here and there. But she never landed on our table. The bar folk were less than entertaining. If you're looking for a biker bar, bingo! We enjoyed our first visit to The Lakeside Grill on Lake Tyler. The hamburger basket was enough for two and was cooked as ordered. Our waitresses were friendly and helpful. I'm glad we got there at about 1pm because it was getting busy. We are anxious to go back and try the breakfast menu. The ambiance was relaxed and not too loud and an overall good lunch. read more

Grabbed a quick bite while out exploring and house hunting. Definitely a worthwhile find and everything you want out of a lakeside grill. Nice juicy, greasy burger and friendly staff. Have been wanting to try this restaurant for quite awhile and finally got a Sunday afternoon to do so. We got a nice table with a great view of the water. It was too hot outside for us, but noticed several people eating outside in the shaded portion of the porch. Watched boats coming in to get gas as well as people coming to the grill. We ordered drinks and have got to say their bottled beer ( nothing on tap ) was as cold as any ice house I have been to ! Loved it ! Finally our foursome ordered with 2 going for catfish and other 2 going for burgers. Had read some reviews that their burgers were as good as any place in Tyler area. We visited and drank and then drank a little more. Luckily we were not in a hurry and wanted to visit anyway. We came for a late lunch and regular crowd was departing. We were about the only ones left, but it took a really long time for food to come out. Thankfully it was hot and fresh and was not left to sit unnoticed which happens at restaurants. There were plenty of staff to handle. Catfish was great and while they did make a decent burger, it fell a little short of being in top level for Tyler area. But it was a pretty good sized burger and still very good. We enjoyed visiting the Lakeside Grill and food was worthy. Might visit again but would have to be in the area. Good food but not exceptional. I did stretch to four stars but really would have actually given three and a half if allowed. read more

The atmosphere was welcoming, clean , various places to sit. You can choose from sitting inside or outside on the deck. A beautiful view of the lake. We had a burger with delicious candied bacon and thin onion rings. A really big portion with French fries. A meal for 2 with a drink was $46. A lot more than we usually spend, but we'll worth it. The burger is not on the menu. We started off sitting outside, but when the food came, so did the bees. We were well warned before we went outside. read more

Wow, I had not so high expectations when it comes to service at Lakeside Grill but I was yet again shocked on how bad the customer experience truly is. As a first timer from out of state, the second I asked to order a drink, they just looked at my ID and handed it back without any sort of comment. The blonde bartender who looked too close to a trainee helped everyone else around me and just looked at me from time to time. This was infuriating as I had already waited another 20 minutes previously just to get my first order placed. Least to say, I won't be coming back here. I hope the service here reflects on how they treat their newcomers compared to the regulars and think long and hard on how they can improve themselves. Disappointed. read more
