Goodness gracious, where do I start?! Went to TLS bcz of rave reviews, and they were "spot on," as we say. The gentleman who was working was SO very helpful. He tightened my old lamp and did so with a smile and no charge. I was so overwhelmed with the beauty and quality of everything in the store, that I ended up buying a gorgeous silk lamp shade that is simply perfect. Five gold stars FOR SURE! read more

The best lighting shop in Atlanta!!! The Lamp Shoppe on Miami Circle has the best choice in quality antique and vintage lighting around, and they do amazing rewiring and repair work. But their hidden secret? They have BEST SHADE PRICES in town! I honestly don't know why anyone would shop anywhere else. They offer great choices, sizes and amazing brands - all top quality. This is the best experience I have ever had with a boutique lamp store. The owners were so gracious and provided absolutely top notch customer service. We loved the selection and the prices are truly reasonable for the finest quality you can find in the metro area. We drove in from out of town, and were thrilled that we did. We will make all of our future lamp purchases and and we know we can entrust them for repairs on our most precious pieces. Also, we met a delightful couple of puppies on site as well. I could spend hours in this store browsing for lamps, shades, furniture, antiques and more at The Lamp Shoppe. Stephen and Bill the owners source from all over the world and are experts on antiques, lamps, shades and repairs. They also do beautiful lamp conversions from vases or favorite pieces. The selection of shades cannot be matched and they offer the best customer service as well. You can also see them at the Scott Antique Markets every month. They are the best lamp shop in Miami Circle and in Atlanta. One of my favorite places to spend an afternoon shopping in Atlanta. read more

Beyond impressed with this store. Not only did they help us with a part to an antique lamp but Stephen went above and beyond to ensure the part would work for us. He spent a lot of time testing it out- which gave us time to look at all of the beautiful lamps, decor, and accessories. This wonderful establishment is "The Whole Package", bar none! On my first visit in late December I met Barry and was welcomed as if I had been patronizing their shop for many years. I briefly explained the problem I was having with my floor lamp which was in my car. He said let's take a look and after doing so immediately knew what the issue was, it was fixed shortly thereafter. I have been in twice since then, always warmly welcomed and treated with exemplary customer care. I have also asked for some referrals for various services for which they have given great recommendations. Not only are they the BEST in repair work, but when you walk in this well appointed shop you are immediately surrounded by gorgeous lamps, shades, accessories and antiques. (and smiling faces) They give new meaning to the phrase "exemplary customer care and repair", do NOT go anywhere else, they definitely are "The Real Deal!" read more

After dealing with several other businesses trying to find a part for our chandelier, we happened upon The Lamp Shoppe. What a stroke of good fortune! These guys are just amazing! They took the time to inspect the (antique) part and figure out a solution. Everyone else had insisted that we take down the (antique crystal) chandelier and bring it in. The guys at The Lamp Shoppe, on the other hand, went straight into problem solving mode. It's so refreshing to go to a business where they are professional and knowledgeable while being so friendly. We were referred to the Lamp Shoppe by a nice associate at Home Depot who recognized their expertise and sent us there. Visited The Lamp Shoppe in Miami Circle today to have some work done on an antique lamp. The owner was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and very reasonably priced. They also have a wonderful selection of unique chandeliers, and lamps. I was told that many of Atlanta's decorators shop here to find one-of-a-kind lighting at good prices, and I can see why. I brought a lamp in for repair after moving and found a beautiful Italian chandelier at the same time due to their great selection of antique fixtures. They repaired my lamp while I waited and are cleaning the chandelier and adding a few missing crystals, as well as adding more chain than it had. I'm very pleased to have found this store! read more
