We used to love this place but last night will be our last night eating here. I had the ribeye which was more than half fat. It was gross. I brought it to the attention of the server and she agreed and said she always got the filet. As we were paying, I told her to mention this to the manager that it was not a $43 steak and she did. He did absolutely nothing and she handed me back my check. He did not even acknowledge us or apologize. He could have at least covered dessert since I was still hungry after just eating a baked potato that wasn't that good and a salad. My husband's mashed potatoes weren't good either. Disappointed since we always go there. Hate to see them going downhill when they had improved. read more

I have made a reservation three times via the Yelp app and the last two times The Landing did not receive my reservation so we did not get a table. Not sure what side the problem is on but I can't even call The Landing to speak to someone about it. It's leave a message only. We love to eat there. Best filet ever. I was there with a party of 5 last Friday night. We each had a drink and one of my guests and I had another. We all were having a wonderful time and Dawn our waitress was wonderful. However the other staff treated one of my guests horribly which was totally unacceptable. They claimed he had six drinks when he only had two. There was four of us drinking and six was what we had ordered. As we were leaving to go out to play at the machines my friend was yellow lighted. My friend was very gracious and polite to them. However a while later they came to the other end of the Casino as they said he had a beer. He held up the bottle and showed them he had water. Now this is beyond harassment as someone he once dated works there. Friends of that person kept watching us the whole time we were there. Every time I looked we were being stared at and seemed to be followed wherever we were. I have never experienced anything thing like it in my life. I know I will never go into that restaurant again. I spent over $400.00 to receive that kind of treatment which is totally inexcusable. read more

We had no idea this restaurant existed. We live fairly close to the casino and usually use our free meal dollars and casino credits for the fast food court. We happened to see the ad for the Landings restaurant and learned we could use our casino points there. It was busy, but the server was gracious and the food excellent. We plan to head back tomorrow and can't wait. read more

Certainly not trying to be a "Karen"... BUT I've visited a handful of restaurants since this whole pandemic started and this is the first I've been to that all the staff was wearing gloves. I appreciate the PPE but these gloves are worn everywhere throughout the restaurant. I never saw anyone change their gloves... from serving the food, to taking payment, to cleaning tables, etc. As someone that works in healthcare, this is not the proper way to wear gloves. They should be changed in between each task. It would be much more effective to have your employees wash and sanitize their hands regularly without the use of gloves. Overall, food and service was good. We were told the restaurant was open until 11pm and we could order pick-up (we had called to check on this when we checked into the hotel earlier that afternoon). We got there around 9:15 and were nearly turned away for placing a pick-up. This was a little discouraging after what we were told earlier in the day. read more

My husband and I have eaten here twice. Once for lunch and now once for dinner. Our lunch experience was okay. We both got a BLT sandwich with avocado. They both came without the avocado. For dinner we both got chicken alfredo with asparagus. His meal came with two 1/4 in. size pieces. My meal had approximately 2 asparagus stalks mixed in. Very few of the pieces were the actual tops. My feeling is, if you are going to list items in the description of the meal, then the meal should come with those items. Maybe this will improve over time. read more

For Murphy, this would be considered a five star place. But if you have traveled an hour outside of the Cherokee County limit you would know that good restaurants do exist. The food here is just OK. Just. If you are expecting your food to be delicious and seasoned to perfection, change that thought. Pretty sure seasonings are not in any ingredients here. Salt would be an awesome start. The guys in the back doing the cooking just don't care what is written in the menu. They make the food how they want to make it. If it is missing something, oh well. You can stop by Ingles on your way home and pick it up if you still want it after your meal. I will say our server was always stopping by the table, however like another comment, there were a lot of staffers chatting and playing with their phones. When you are at work in a service job, you should not have your phone on your person. It should be in a locked locker. You are working to support those nine kids not trying to hook up so you can make number ten. Now fill my drink! read more

Seated right away, noticed at least 5 or more of the waitstaff standing and talking. Waited about 4-5 minutes and nothing. Out!!

Harrah's has taken the food service back over and I can't say enough great things about it. The shrimp cocktail is wonderful and I'm from FL. The ribeye will melt in your mouth. The deserts are large enough to share, unless you like carrot cake as much as I do. Dawn and Michelle are caring servers and will make you feel like family before you leave. We have had the filet like 4 times, and it is always awesome. Service is short staffed sometimes, but the food has never disappointed. I eat steak a lot, but I believe the filet they serve is as good as any I've had. Like I said they seem to be short staffed sometimes, but otherwise no complaints. We;ve eaten at the landing dozens of times and have always been surprised at how great service and food has always been. New years eve we made reservations and expected more of the same. Couldn't have been more disapointed. The lobster tail was like rubber(no buttersauce) the prime rib was tastless , ordered med-rare got med well. very disapointed. The waitress was the only up to standard that we've come to expect; $135 should get more than bland overcooked meal. read more

My wife ordered the Chicken parmigiana and I had the Chicken Alfredo. The food was tasty and hot and well presented With large portions. What you didn't like was the week after we were seated to finally get someone to serve us and I think they could do well with an on the table service to point pay so you don't have to sit here and wait 20 minutes after you're done eating to pay for your meal to leave. read more

I am hoping this is still a work in progress. For starters , for a restaurant that wants to present itself as a cut above it offers only beer (bottles) and wine, even though it is just across the hall from a full service bar. A rather pretentious wine selection but a pathetic beer selection. I always have difficulty in not making a snide remark or two when I see Micheloeb Ultra and Yuengling listed under imports and premium beer. The menu is rather lackluster and not notable. The French Onion Soup was not bad, it just wasn't good. The spicy garlic shrimp was edible. My wife had the crab cake appetizer and was satisfied. Too bad that the only choices you have on site, if you are staying in the hotel, is this restaurant or the food court, which is OK for lunch, barely. Don't waste time or money , take the short trip to Murphy and enjoy one of the great local eateries. read more

Not worth the stop. Food was tasteless and cold. Staff acted like they did not care.

Had a late lunch there on 3rd September 2019. Had the mild buffalo wings with ranch dipping sauce, house salad with ranch dressing and unsweet iced tea. Approximately one (1) to two (2) hours after eating it felt like my insides blew up. I had so much pain I first was thinking I was have a heart attacked, then I had nausea, bloodies diarrhea and my blood pressure drop to 50/40. Became very weak. The Caesar's Casino EMT were called and started working on me and do to the fact they were not able to get my blood pressure up the called Cherokee County EMS. When the EMS arrived they were not able to stabilized me and felt like it a high risk to transport me by emergency ambulance they requested Med-Trans Air Medical to fly to Chattanooga, TN. Memorial Hospital. They said it was not a heart attacked but food poison. I had to spend five (5) days in the hospital. read more

Six of us ate at the Landing on Friday August 28. Overall the scallops, shrimp, steak, and chicken parmigiana were excellent. However, someone got a little heavy-handed with the salt on the risotto and brocolli making it inedible. (Who salts broccoli anyway?) Wait staff was excellent and the night was enjoyable. read more

Absolutely shocked at how bad this place was. Ordered a hamburger that was delivered on a large plate with no tomatoes, lettuce, pickles or fries. It was actually funny to see this pathetic burger on a large plate. The atmosphere is very clinical with bright lights. We were so looking forward to a new restaurant experience. read more

So, we were so excited that a restaurant was finally put into the casino. Unfortunately, it's horrible. The service is SUPER slow (expect at least an hour and a half for a simple sandwich). The lighting is horrendous. Feels very industrial. They need to soften the atmosphere. Food is less than sub par and our order was wrong after waiting for over an hour. We love coming here for dinner. The steaks, salads and potatoes are really good. The service has been great every time that we visit. Alana has been out server a few times and she is great...friendly, efficient and keeps the glasses full. We had a hamburger tonight. Really, really good. We'll be back soon. BTW. Spent two nights at Harrah's and went here to eat on our first night. Arrived at about 530 and had to wait a few minutes for a table for the 5 of us. Wait staff was nice and attentative but the food was slow coming from the kitchen. But, we took it in stride when the waitress explained they were running a little behind. My wife and I ordered hamburgers. Other's ordered salad, fish sandwich and ribs. They were ok but nothing to write home about. My wife's medium burger was way over well done but she decided to let it go since everyone had their meal. But the onion and pickles that were supposed to be on her burger were nowhere to be found. When we asked our server for the onion she came back in a few minutes saying they were cutting some. Several minutes passed and still no onion. Burger was getting cold. Another request and still no onion. I finally got up and went to the open kitchen and asked for onion was told there was plenty of onion already cut up but they wouldn't give it to me. A couple of servers approached and asked what was wrong. I explained that I just wanted the onion for my wife's now cold burger. The manager finally brought the onion and apologized profusely. But by now the burger was stone cold. My wife ate most of it anyway. The manager offered us 10% discount and a free dessert which we accepted. The original waitress returned and apologized and explained there were new cooks and manager. We ended up ok with the outcome. But decided to go into Murphy for dinner the next night. I had the blackened blue burger medium rare and my mother ordered a Ceaser salad. It took 20 minutes for my mother's salad and 10 for my burger. I don't see how it took so long for salad ! And the portion size was not worth $ 9!!! While the burger came out quickly it was terrible. I only ate a little bit of it. Not coming back. Bad service and even worse food. read more
