    fire pasta

at 7pm on a wednesday night, we were told it would be a 45 minute wait for a party of 4. after joining the waitlist, within 20 minutes we were called that our table was ready. we were sat and had to wait a bit before any wait staff came to our table, which was a bit of a nuisance but also semi understandable since the restaurant was packed. however i will say that i noticed a group of servers conversing at the bar and paying no attention to our table for the first ~7 or so minutes we were there. although we didn't order any drinks, this restaurant has 2 very nice bar spaces and various cocktail options that sound good. we each ordered a pasta dish- the spaghetti and boston mike's spicy meat sauce, the fire pasta, and the basil pesto ravioli, and also a caesar salad. the caesar salad was just your normal caesar salad, a decent portion size for a "full" sized salad. the pasta dishes also were great portion sizes. the basil pesto ravioli was very creamy and the ravioli itself was good, but the sauce was very heavy. my friend noted that it was good the first bite but was a lot for one person if you don't super enjoy heavy cream-based dishes. the fire pasta was interesting- it tasted just like they added a lot of buffalo sauce to a cream based pasta sauce. i've never had a buffalo sauce pasta dish. it was very interesting and i thought it was kinda good but my friends didn't really like it, maybe the buffalo sauce flavor was just too overpowering. i ordered the spicy meat sauce pasta because i was craving something meaty, and unfortunately it was a disappointment. the texture of the pasta was notable- it had more of a bite and texture to it than pasta that im used to eating, but this isn't necessarily a bad thing, although i personally didn't love it. the meat sauce itself was oddly SUPER watery- it really just tasted like they just super watered down a store bought tomato sauce and added ground meat to it. at least there was a good portion of meat in it, so it did satisfy my protein craving. also, it wasn't spicy or even tangy at all? i completely forgot that this was supposed to be a spicy sauce until i just double checked the menu as i write this review. overall, the service wasn't great but our server was friendly and kind despite being stretched thin. this place could be a nice local dinner spot to catch up with friends and get a nice cocktail, but the food sadly falls short.

Service is kind and attentive. The place is quiet and peaceful. Gentle music playing that isn't too loud. Lots of local pride and a local wine selection. Closes early, so call first if it is late.

A large menu that can be a bit overwhelming. Service was a little slow but whenever you could catch the waiter, things were taken care of quickly. Really enjoyed the naked wings and the spicy meat sauce pasta. Someone in the group got the fire pasta and they loved it.

Perfect omelette with Gruyère cheese. Perfect.

This place for breakfast on the weekend is really, really good. Rod the chef and Omar the waiter made for a great breakfast for the four of us that wandered in on a Saturday morning. It is located right across from Campbells where we were staying. We were hungry and my wife was a bit hung over. My daughter and her BF had hair of the dog chilled drinks! Mojito on. It was fairly busy and service was not fast but not slow. The landing omelette was perfect. The cheese they use made it perfect. The biscuit is awesome and unique: almost like a crusted bread. Good size servings and priced moderate. Nice atmosphere. Recommended.

We shared the halibut and chips for lunch and were so glad we did. More than enough food for two. The fish was fresh and meaty. The fries seasoned and cooked perfectly. We had a large side of tartar sauce and sides of ranch and honey bbq sauce, all were delicious. Great menu and food. Service was very good.

Our first time to Downtown Chelan and it is quaint and beautiful! Stopped by their ice cream parlor on the Main Street. The parlor is small with only seating inside for 3-6 people. There are benches outside for more seating. They have a nice selection of ice cream, but wish they had more flavors, but for a small town like Chelan, it'll do. Hubby got a generous scoop of coconut macadamia and I got a generous scoop of mint chocolate chip pistachio. It was delicious!

It was very pretty and the ad made it seem even better. When we got there the room was hot and the air conditioner was clogged because the filter was so dirty. We picked this place because of the jetted tub. The tub only holds one person and the Jets didn't work. It was an epic disappointment. The worst of it is that they don't have anyone. You can call with problems. It was nice with the balcony overlooking the water and clean, but an overall disappointment for the price.

The location is great, it's at the heart of the river walk area in Lake Chelan. Funny because we watched the Gordon Ramsay episode of this place before it became the restaurant it is now. We stumbled across this place because we parked the boat nearby and everyone wanted to eat. We had 4 adults and 3 kids (all 5 and under) in our party. We ordered wings and zucchini fries to start off. The wings were good which was the only saving grace. Everything else was nasty, gross, dry, old, yuck. My husband got spaghetti and meatballs and the meatballs tasted old. I got a chicken Caesar salad and the chicken that they forgot, which came later, was so dry and gross. The others in our party ordered another pasta dish and took like 2 bites and didn't eat it. Everything just tasted off and old. Oh, and they charged us an automatic 20% gratuity. Shrug. Our waitress wasn't nice either lol. Out total for our table was a little under $200 and the food sucked. So many other restaurants nearby. Don't come here if you want decent food.

Twice for Breakfast, Once for Evening Cocktails... Sitting at the bar, service was FANTASTIC!! Mikey is a Friendly face and welcoming spirit! Cocktails are a solid too! Breakfast.... Well, that is a different experience... food is good-great! No complaints Both times x .... Waiting 20+ minutes to place an order and another 20+ minutes for food to arrive... by the way, 2 people but 1 plate... coffee is my breakfast ... I grabbed the carafe of water and placed the order for coffee (oh! Server said they do NOT have decaf coffee) and soda... then proceeded to waiting another 20+ minutes to see our server... restaurant was a 1/3 full with multiple employees moving around... plenty of servers, different 1 to each table!! But still a considerable amount of time to only have a few tables to wait on.... Food is good. Time frame and service is Lousy! Do not show up being hungry, by the time you receive your food, you WILL BE HUNGRY! Mikey makes a Great cocktail!

A typical ice cream shop. The service was good nothing special. I had churro ice cream. It is nothing but churro added to vanilla ice cream. No special ice cream.

Pretty expensive which is expected being in Lake Chelan, but the food was good and big portions. One of the locals suggested we get the lavender cheesecake and it was amazing. Not too floral or too sweet. Got a 1/2 salad add Chicken and it was large! Also get complimentary bread. We also got the beef stroganoff, definitely could feed two. Server was friendly and attentive. Restaurant has dim lighting but was nice and casual.

The service throughout the resort was also excellent. My husband attends a physical therapy conference here every year, and the staff always does a great job taking care of everyone and making the event run smoothly. The only downside would be that the rooms are starting to show their age. As a business owner myself, I completely understand that renovating and updating an entire property is a big financial decision. That said, it does feel like the rooms are reaching the point where a refresh would really elevate the experience. I imagine that will happen eventually. One of the highlights of the stay was the restaurant, which is just steps away from the rooms. We ate there multiple times and every single thing we ordered was really good. The quality of the food was consistently excellent and the servers were kind and attentive. They also had live music on Friday night, and the woman performing when we were there was incredibly talented and made the evening even more enjoyable. Overall, we had a great stay and would absolutely come back again. The location, views, service, and restaurant make it a really special place to visit in Lake Chelan.

So very fun. We have not been able to come back for about 10 years. We were looking forward to our, now adult and married, children being together (separate rooms), hoping to start a second generation of this tradition. The day my husband and I checked in we noticed an odor in our room as soon as we walked in the door. I checked to see there were no old garbage or damp used towels. I put baking soda down all the drains. I looked everywhere, but could not discern where the odor was coming from. It never went away. Very sad. We were also disappointed in the restaurant upstairs. The service was extraordinarily slow. The food was ho-hum. The hollandaise sauce was tasteless. Please, please fix this!!!

The TV and sound system could definitely use an update, and I don't believe it was a smart TV. The front desk staff were not very friendly. They kept calling us on the day of arrival and again on the day we were leaving, which felt a bit excessive. I did appreciate the complimentary toothbrush and razor, though that was a nice touch. The kitchen amenities and sink area were also very nice and convenient. The biggest drawback was the smoke alarm beeping in the middle of the night. It really disrupted our sleep. I understand maintenance may have needed to come in, but I wasn't comfortable with someone entering while we were out or disturbing our privacy while we were inside I'm a bit particular about that when my belongings are in the room. Overall, the views were the highlight, but due to the outdated features, staff experience, and the alarm issue, our stay fell short of expectations.
