Excellent service and wonderful food. We both had prime rib. It was among the best prime rib suppers we have ever had! The meat portion was enormous and properly cooked. The sides were great and the asparagus was just right. Crisp, not mushy. Service was great. We liked the old place this was. But though the menu significantly changed, it works. The Landing is under new management and we stopped in tonight and we are SO happy we did! We had the blackened chicken with fettuccine and salad, and enjoyed their great beer and wine list. It was the best we have ever had. The manager knows his Italian food and was amazing. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend you give them a try if you are in Chelan. We scheduled rehearsal dinner for our son at The Landing. Sue was phenomenal to work with! She made the process easy and was beyond attentive during the meal. The meal was near perfection, prime rib, chicken teriyaki, and sides. All were beyond amazing, the entire party could not get enough and rolled out of the restaurant! I gave this place another try after it was BC McDonalds. Never going there again, 1 of the 2 appetizer's was cold, my vodka drink tasted like water and 7up. And as for the food, the chicken pasta was horrible. Pretty sure they gave us 2 day old dry chicken. It's pointless to send the food back or say anything. My wife and I dined at The Landing Chelan on Friday early evening. We had finished and left before 5 pm on a Friday. The Fried Rice (Chicken for my wife and shrimp for me) was very good. I would have given a 5 star but there were a number of items they were out of, i.e. no soup, and when we finished we asked about desert and we were told that there was only one piece of cheese cake. AT 5 PM? They were not very busy so poor planning for a Friday evening. The dining area could stand to be cleaned, there were food bits on the edge of the bench seat in the booth we sat at. We plan on giving it another try in the future so hope they improve. read more

Beautiful bar area but slow service. They close at 2:00 for a few hours. I showed up at 1:15 and I got the feeling they were annoyed having me show up 45 min before closing. Place was empty and I had to seat myself. I asked the waitress what they recommend and got a "depends on what you want" answer. No energy and nothing recommended off the menu so just ordered a burger which was good but would have liked to hear what they are known for and proud of. I'd go back and give it another shot based on reputation and hopefully would have a better experience. read more

I remember this being an old bar and saw that something else went in. I was excited to see that it was Italian and is much more reasonably priced than some other Italian restaurants in town. The food was delicious and the staff was so nice! We ordered the crab, spinach artichoke dip, spaghetti and meatballs and a spicy sausage rigatoni and it was fantastic. This place was great for families and my son really enjoyed it as well and loved the meatballs. We will return next time we go into town. read more

i walked in and got dress coded. they asked if i could put a t shirt on because i was wearing a shirt that covered by boobs but didn't cover my sternum. i had to put on my friends zip up but it eventually got hot when the food came and i wanted to take it off but the environment made me uncomfortable. i got chicken fried rice and it wasn't worth being uncomfortable, i should've ordered something else which is on me but if you come here, wear a conservative outfit. worst service i have ever had in my life. we waited 45min for food and our server never came by to ask for refills, and or check up on us. mind you the restaurant wasn't even busy. she was rude and interrupted us, we ordered a lemon drop and it came with salt on the rim, they gave my sister lemonade with a fly in it and tried to just take it out. we went up to the front to ask for our check because it had been and hour since we ordered and 45 minutes since we saw our server, we explained to the owner what happened and we never got a sorry, or an explanation, just excuses. he tried to make us pay the full amount of everything even though we never even got our food, we paid for our drinks and left. We just had a great meal at the Landing, they just opened the restaurant, hotel and ice cream shop and have a fabulous staff and food. We had the deluxe burgers but have heard the salmon is also incredible...we will be back! Nice atmosphere and great location! Terribly slow service. A previous review stated that the staff seemed untrained and I agree. The food was decent. But it took 20 minutes of sitting around with glasses of water before we had to flag another waiter down to take our order. Truly think our waiter forgot he didn't take our order. Really wish we had just left at that point because it then took forever for our food to come out. First red flag that we would be forgotten about was when we were handed menus and told to find our own table. The couple behind us was brought water 3 times by 2 different waiters. The same waiter that brought them the first water literally came back again because he forgot he brought them water already. Then they weren't even told the appetizer they ordered wasn't available until their entrees came out. Our kids got their food before us and we were told the waiter would be right back with ours. He then proceeded to seat more tables and take a few orders before finally bringing us our food. After that we didn't see another person at all. Nobody came to check on us. We then had to approach the waiter at the bar to pay our bill because nobody came back to our table. Won't be going back here again. read more

We booked one night at the Landing Hotel on May 26, 2022. 1.The hotel does not have front desk staff. 2. The manager forgot to send us the instructions in the email, and we had to wait 1/2 hour for them. 3.The parking lot is several blocks away. 4. The room had no window, but a skylight. 5. The access to the room is by climbing very steep and narrow stairs. 6. No fire evacuation route was in the room. 7. Although the hotel was almost empty, the manager declared that they were completely booked, and she could not change our room. She accused us of booking the cheapest room (only one price was listed on Booking.com at $222.) 8. No cold water could be obtained in the sink, even after running it for 10 minutes. 9. At night, we could hear the karaoke going on in the bar below. 10. In the morning we had no way to block the light from the skylight. 11. the coffee machine was broken. CONCLUSION: It was the worst hotel we stayed in the last 30 years! read more

I'm only giving one star because you have to input something. We booked our reservation for the weekend of the 4th of July (booked a month in advance). On Friday we started our weekend with wine tasting since check in is not until 3. As we wrapped up at 3 and prepared to go check in to the hotel, I received a call saying our room was booked out. Apparently "this happens when booking through booking.com". Completely shocked this happened and after going back and forth with the employee to push for her to figure out a solution, as it is their responsibility, she finally mentioned there was 1 room available but for Friday only. The employee then proceeded to say she would work to get us a hotel for Saturday in addition to a gift card in the amount of $50 for their restaurant. The hotel they put us in was not just a downgrade, it was disgusting, dirty and the room was tiny. I have reached out numerous times with my frustration and have yet to receive a response. In addition to the lack of professionalism in follow through and customer service, the "solutions" they offered were completely ridiculous. I should have received a complimentary weekend stay and instead they gave us a dirty hotel and offered a gift card that could maybe buy a bottle of wine (which they never even gave us). I would not recommend this place unless you're willing to roll the dice in having reservation issues and being potentially stranded or put in a dumpy hotel. read more

Just stayed at The Landing Hotel for 2 nights. Costing $300 a night. Lovely room but on our first morning there we could only get cold water so no shower. owner explained later we need to let faucets run for awhile to help with older plumbing circulate water properly. It worked some hours later. The 2nd morning we couldn't get any hot water, the opposite to previous morning. I let all the faucets run water for 40 mins or more as owner had told us too & still could not get hot water. Continued to check faucets for the next couple of hours but still no hot water. So no shower again. Since they dont have a front desk you have to call a number and knowing from previous day that takes time for them to return call we left hotel very disappointed. I cant imagine we are the only guests this has happened too. At $300 a night I do feel we were duped. I did call the phone number provided & explained what happened again. She said she will get back to me in a day or two which is not what I expected to hear. If there was a front desk person I could have dealt in person i know this could have been dealt with immediately read more
