Located inside the Hilton Philadelphia Airport, The Landing is the place you're stuck with if you're staying at the hotel and have no transportation. It's not terrible if you're a business traveler familiar with airport restaurants but otherwise if you have a choice, you should choose somewhere else. The staff is so-so. My needs were met but they made me feel like I was eating at Denny's. $25 entrees should mean you get service with a smile. The tables are all too high or the chairs too low. I'm not short and I felt like I was sitting at the kids table. The bread wasn't very good and the butter tasted funny. I ordered a filet mignon and it was mediocre but acceptable. During the week this place will be filled with business travelers, many of whom are alone and seem to enjoy an opportunity to break the "no loud cell phone conversations" unspoken rule at restaurants. I learned about poor Katie who isn't meeting her sales quota and will be fired soon from the loudmouth at the table beside me. The expletives made that projected conversation extra classy. Happy hour near the back of the restaurant was filled with lots of noisy travelers revealing too much as they downed more alcohol. It seems like a bad idea to become inebriated with coworkers and/or clients. I wouldn't choose to go here but if you're stuck and have to go here for a meal, it's acceptable but not desirable, in my opinion.

The ridiculously oversized crouton which I suspect is leftover poundcake, from a caesar salad. Meh.

Because I had to stay near the airport at the Philadelphia Hilton this was my only dining option as it is onsite. The staff gave me the impression that they didn't want to be there. Not rude, but kind of indifferent. I have to say that overall it was average. The caesar salad was wilty so I am guessing it was made 12 hours before. The croutons were impossibly huge and they tasted like leftover poundcake (not kidding!). I will upload a picture to make the point. My entree was a delicious chicken marsala pasta dish with kalamata olives so that helped this restaurant redeem itself from being pretty subpar. The ambiance was decent with nice lighting with warm wood colors all round. Overall it beats your typical Chilis or Applebees fare but if I had the choice I again I would walk to one of the other nearby hotels to try out their restaurants.

You are offerred two options for breakfast, order off the menu or the buffet bar. I went for the buffet since I wanted to order different items from the bar. For an omlete you order that through with the waiter. The buffetline has different breads, muffins, fruit, yogurt, scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes and waffles. The peaches I had a funny taste and I never tasted that before. So I have to give the place a 3 instead of a 4 or 5 star rating.

Room service took more than 1 hour, food was cold and my drink was in a tiny glass. Never again

Today was no exception. Their grilled chicken sandwich was not what I hoped for. On the plus side, it was a generous portion of chicken, most of which I took home. As a negative -- at least for me -- I like a flat filet, with grill marks. This was "chunky," rendering it clumsy to eat. It simply didn't taste grilled at all. And the chicken was dry. T ordered a country omelet that was filled with breakfast meats, cheddar and peppers. Though not my thing, I agreed it was pretty good. His grits were creamy, buttery and delicious. Coffee is strong and served in the old-fashioned heavy mugs that I favor. Our server was friendly. ("Where are you from?" she asked, picking up on my Brooklyn accent.) I asked if Greek lemon soup is ever on the menu. She said that the owners are Turkish, then gave me a rundown of their specialties, all of which sound delish. (Alas, no avgolemono.) I wouldn't hesitate to return to Folcroft. The menu is diverse, the restaurant is clean -- as pointed out by another Yelper AND our waitress. If you order the right thing, you'll no doubt be pleased.

They serve you fresh waster (Drinks to order include Hanks, Boylan's, Harney and Sons, Teas etc.) and will serve you at the table or you can walk up and order at the counter. Their menu has a great mix of deli, steak, "chicken" steak, meatball, sausage and cutlet sandwiches with interesting flavor combos. You can also get breakfast (till 11AM) or a salad. They also have sides that include - tots, fried pickle chips, onion rings, fries, fried mozzarella and Zayda's pickle spears, chips and cherry pepper shooters. They have a couple of vegan options and GF rolls for extra $$. The staff was more than happy to give recommendations and their favs. My first lunch was The Eye - $15 Ribeye steak, Cooper Sharp American, fried onions came on a seeded Liscio's roll. If you enjoy the somewhat newer Cooper sharp style that's out there you'll like theirs. The Cooper sharp was gooey, mixed in well with the meat and on the heavier side. The ribeye was thin cut, delicious and the portion was pretty hefty. Second visit I went with - The Nad - $15 Chicken cutlet, fresh mozzarella, prosciutto, arugula, Mike's Hot Honey that came on an unseeded Liscio's roll. The portion size was good, chicken was fresh with good breading, the hot honey was a tad on the heavy side, but the flavors all came together pretty good on this one. Sweet, salty, light bitterness from the arugula and some heat from the hot honey. I added Thin Cut Idaho fries to make it a combo for $3 extra and I have to say they were delicious. They smelled like McD's and tasted similar. They are cash only, but have an ATM on site. You can use a card if you order online. The one bathroom they have was pretty clean and organized. I will certainly stop back for a visit if I'm in the area to try out more of their menu. Thanks guys!

We asked for the toppings on the side because, you know, kids, but WOW. The vodka sauce was delicious, and the pickled tomato concoction that came with them? I could've bathed in it. The calamari was perfectly crisp and came with the unexpected bonus of onion rings, which were ever-so-lightly battered and perfectly crunchy. And once again, the sauces were superb. The boys shared a cheese pizza, half pepperoni, and really enjoyed it. My husband ordered the burger, and yes, I stole a bite--and yes, to no one's surprise, it was amazing. We also ordered the charred broccoli after seeing everyone rave about it online. They were NOT wrong. Creamy, smoky, charred perfection. And finally... drumroll please... the 10 oz. smoked Duroc pork chop! OH. EM. GEEE. Perfectly charred on the outside and incredibly juicy inside, sitting in the most delicious smoky morita-apricot glaze and topped with a bright cucumber-melon salad with mint and blue basil. The contrast was perfection! The rich, smoky pork, the sweet and slightly spicy glaze, and that cool, fresh salad on top. Every bite had the perfect combination of flavors and textures. Easily one of the best pork chops I've ever had. As wonderful as the food was, the service somehow made the experience even better. From the minute we arrived, we were treated like family coming home for the holidays. Warm, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. What an absolute joy of a restaurant. Darling Jack's, I WILL be back!
