I arrived in Philly and was very hungry. My day started at 330am. This was during the Microsoft issue in July '24. The airlines had tons of cancelations and late arrivals. I was supposed to arrive at 9am, but ended up arriving at around 2pm. It's was too late for breakfast at most places. Well, not here. They serve breakfast all day long. This is a big, busy diner. I love these places. This place did not disappoint. I ordered the cornbeef hash, potatoes, and eggs. The meal came out and it was a lot of food. It was probably enough for two people. I was hungry, so I ate it all. Piggy piggy. It was as good or better than i expected. This breakfast at a hotel or some of the other restaurants would have been $20+ . Not at Folcroft. Even with the tip, I didn't go over $20. The wait staff was very attentive, and everyone worked together. The place was nice and clean. Everyone was nice. I will be coming back again.

The service was great! The food was very good! The restaurant was very clean. I had the cream chipped beef which I loved. My husband had a big breakfast with pancakes, french toast, eggs, hash browns, bacon & sausage. He liked everything except the bacon. He said it was too greasy. We will definitely be back.

The Food was amazing. My only problem is that my home fries were not crunchy, everyone else had crunchy home fries, even the toddler. ):

If you leave this place hungry it's not their fault. The Folcroft Diner Serves up exceptional comfort food in a comfortable diner setting. Reasonable prices are the norm here! Service is great. Kind and caring wait staff. Their daily specials are always super tasty at a great price. I sometimes get another meal out of their specials so that's double the fun! You'll never do you wrong coming here for a meal.

JEEZ LOUISE ! This place is Astronomical omg!! You definitely have to try the french toast. I took one bite and almost passed out from excitement !!! The waffle was PACKED with flavor! Talk about 5 star dining! The waitress is someone I'll always remember, super personable and very attentive!

A decent diner but not award winning like I had heard. We took a longer drive to get here than I would've for a basic diner. Tried the stuffed mushrooms they were good but basically crab cakes on a mushroom. Sweet potato veggie was delicious. French onion soup was also good but nothing special.

One of my favorite places to go to is a diner. 90% of the time the food is exactly what you need. It's quick and comes with a coffee that just feels familiar. You sit down in the booth with the paper place mat with the local ads and you are instantly transported to the heart of whatever city you are in. The staff is super friendly and attentive for the fact that it's a busy spot with only about a handful on staff. I got the Cheesesteak Omelette since I'm in Philly and it was great. Exactly what you picture in your mind it is. The home fries are crispy and seasoned well, but ketchup takes it up a notch. If you are looking for a good breakfast spot make this on your list.

Great diner. The breakfast portions are huge. Chicken wings are pretty good, not the tenders. Good waffles. Good coffee. Plenty of parking.

It was very busy during our visit with customers dining in and take-out orders. It's BYOB and the server was helpful with bringing the glasses needed. The menu has plenty to choose from, and all the options sound delicious. We ended up going with the Sweet Thai Chili wings - delicious. The PARTY GRITS. All caps, that's it, that's the review - oh my goodness the grits were sooooooooooo good. From the LUMP crab meat to the salmon, seasoned and grilled to perfection... it was amazing. And to top it off, the side of fried fish (I had the Swai) was awesome. It was nice to meet Chef Reeky and give him his props for the amazing food and great atmosphere. I found this place looking for a brunch spot but it may actually be called Chef Reeky's Cafe & Juice Bar. I was looking for the Rhythm and Brunch sign but didn't see it - I'll leave the same post there too just in case. We found street parking in front. Overall a very positive and memorable experience - to the point where I may have to make it a habit to try something new every time I come visit. Highly recommended.

Both times the food was clearly prepared with care and attention to details. This time, I ordered the Sweetest Taboo Breakfast that came with deliciously flavorful and fluffy waffles, although they were a little chewy. The chicken tenders were clearly cut and breaded by hand, seasoned to perfection! Last time I ordered chicken and waffles, but with wings...they were also good, but had a few little feathers still stuck them. I definitely prefer the tenders. The crispiness of the breakfast potatoes did not survive my short drive home, but they were also seasoned to perfection! And also portioned to share. The last time I ordered these, I added onions which seemed to be cooked on the side, and then just thrown into the box...so again I preferred them without this add on. Finally, the stuffed French toast...which is actually unforgettable. It was delicious both times I had it, crispy on the outside with fluffy cream cheese in the center that balance the sweetness of cinnamon sugar, syrup, berries, and the drizzle on the outside. Once again portioned to share! Basically: Chef Reeky's is a place to get your friends or family together, order anything that looks good and be prepared to make plates and have a bite of everything!

I suppose a restaurant almost has a disadvantage when one has heard endlessly about how fantastic…read moreit is, thus setting one's expectations quite high when making one's reservation. A friend and I came by for a quiet supper to catch up and hopefully have an enjoyable dining experience. To start off, the Caesar salad and focaccia were indeed quite tasty. After being talked into trying the tasting menu, I was disheartened upon taking my first bite of the chicken Parmigiana and accompanying pasta. Both seemed as if they had been sitting for a while and then were unevenly reheated. The pasta, in particular, was lackluster and worse than anything I might have hurriedly boiled at eleven at night upon arriving home after a long trip and finding only packaged pasta and canned tomato sauce in the cupboard. But I could have lived with all of this had it not been for the service. Clearly my friend and I were the afterthought of all afterthoughts to our disinterested waitress. After hounding us to order before we had properly reviewed the menu, she promptly put us on the pay-no-mind list, as dirty dish after dirty dish accumulated at the table from the tasting menu she had so strongly urged me to try. I also abhor cheapness on the part of restaurants. Would it have killed Rosemary to offer us a second piece of focaccia, given that there were two of us and the portion was a better fit for just one? Lest anyone accuse me of having expected the waitstaff to read my mind, I indeed asked. It's not like we weren't spending a pretty penny there. The business could have well afforded to allow each of us a reasonable portion of its much-touted starter. After we finally managed to flag down our waitress amid the plethora of dirty dishes still sporting some of the mediocre food, I paid in cash on account of the restaurant informing me on the bill that a surcharge would be applied to a credit card transaction. Another joy! When the waitress took the note, she said, "Thank you," and that was that. I decided against calling after her to request change since it was one of those borderline instances where the note was close enough to twenty percent that it is a bit awkward to request someone return with change. So she walked off with a 26% or so tip after having left us on the dining equivalent of "read" the entire night. And then there's the issue of price: While not outrageous, everything is 15-20% more expensive than it should be, and after one pauses to think about it, the tasting menu offers barely any deal at all. If one orders the chicken like I did, it is no cheaper than ordering the starter, entrée, and dessert à la carte. If Rosemary had also offered, say, a soup, then it would be a deal. But clearly generosity is not in its owner's purview. The tiramisu, I will say, was excellent, and my friend and I enjoyed every morsel, and for that reason, along with the Caesar salad, I can muster three stars. Had I not walked through the door having heard so many people rave about Rosemary, perhaps I would have found it to be a restaurant with a pleasant ambiance, a good appetizer, and fine dessert despite a thoroughly middling entrée. But a Delco gem it is not.

We ordered the crispy cheese curds (Wisconsin cheddar, smoked guajillo salsa, and charred scallion ranch). These were a unique take on the classic and I was here for it, definitely try these! I then had the wedge salad (blue cheese, nueske's bacon, cherry tomatoes, radish, pepitas, crispy onions, and thai basil goddess). There were no tomatoes on ours, and so we were given sliced avocado instead. This was an interesting attempt but not my favorite take on this dish, I probably would not get this again. However, the shrimp po boy buns came through to round off this meal! (crispy shrimp, smoky aioli, house made choppy chop, dill on two buttered potato rolls.) These were fantastic and absolutely fire. NOTE they are tiny, almost appetizer sized, which didnt bother me because after the salad and cheese curds I was feeling full already but I would go back and get two orders just for myself they were that good.
