First time eating here. We were happy with the meal. The waitress was not attentive to us but the place was busy. Only saw her when she finally took our order, and then waited a long time for our ticket to pay. Never got a refill on drink or anything else we might need. Will go back again in spite of bad service, next time would like to try their breakfast and hope waitress will be better. Also to note while waiting in line to be seated saw a waitress drop a cup. Instead of getting a clean one, she used the dropped cup filled it, and gave the drink to someone seated outside :-( Not a good thing! read more

Went in for breakfast this morning. They have always been a go to place. I'm guessing new ownership. The portions were smaller and not as tasty as before. Seems like they have a lot of new people and new systems in place. Our server did ok. Was friendly and got the order correct. Just not the same vibe as before. Typical greasy spoon food. They are under new management with some new faces. Lots of positive changes are happening. We love it because it's on the airport with a nice view of the happenings. I do wish they would update their menu and class it up a bit. Maybe a little different food than every other spot in town. read more

Unfortunately we had a really bad experience. Our waitress was struggling and took 20 minutes to even get to our drink order. Then the food came and it was incorrect PLUS, well... see the photo. I love the idea of an airport restaurant and gave a star because there is potential. I just won't ever be coming back :/ read more

Fantastic location to watch planes on the runway while enjoying a delicious meal. Restaurant is uniquely located within a regional airport. We went for breakfast and it was delicious. Highly recommend the biscuits and gravy. Omelette are great, too. Service is friendly and fantastic. Can't wait to return. Was lucky enough to be able to tour the hangar next door to the restaurant. read more

The worst service ever. We got there at 10:45 told at 10:55 that breakfast stops at 11:00. Asked the waitress to bring us lunch menus. Never got them, I had to go get them myself. Another table sits down next to us at 11:15 and a different waitress is already asking them for their order. We never saw or waitress again. We walked out after that. No one stopped us to ask what the issue was or nothing. Several wait staff were sitting at the bar eating breakfast. read more

I've been a few times, always great food and service. Sundays are always packed, but what place isn't that serves breakfast.

We've been eating there since they opened. The food and service have been very good. But, here lately, the food has been not so good. Today I ordered the Open Face pork roast with the gravy on the side. The pork came out loaded with fat and grease. Wow, good thing I got the gravy on the side. It was so over-loaded with salt I could not eat it. It also had an overpowering taste of celery. I wonder if the cook spilled the celery salt shaker in it? I will not go back! read more

The wait was worth the food. I feel like Sundays are usually pretty busy anywhere especially for breakfast. The waitress we had must've been having a hard day and it was pretty busy. I think if it wasn't too hectic we would've gotten attended a lot sooner and would've had been out pretty quick. The place was great the booths were comfy and the view we happened to have we were able to see planes take off and land but we mainly saw some just stationed. Aside from it being my first time in there I would definitely go back in person but also would do carry out. read more

We unfortunately arrived after they stopped serving breakfast. Service was not great and most of the staff just gathered around the entrance rather than attending to customers. They called our waitress (who was in the room with the door closed next to the host stand) three times that our food was ready. Rather than someone else bringing it to our table they just let it set in the window and kept calling her. The food was not at all what I expected. I had the chicken fried steak and am sure it's the same that I get in a box at Sam's. I had been looking forward to a new restaurant in town but looks like we can scratch this one off the list. read more

Really good food but the service is so-so. If you have Brandy as your server, find another station. Worst and rudest server I have ever had. Even people at other tables complained to their servers on how we were being treated. Really like the food and the atmosphere. Would love to go back and eat there but Brandy ruined the experience for us. read more

I frequently fly into Jefferson City airport for breakfast or lunch at the Landing Zone. I enjoy the food and atmosphere, but on multiple occasions, within an hour of closing at lunch time, several of the staff members made it very obvious they want to be done working for the day. I know they work hard, and are tired, but expressing their desire to be done, when customers can hear this, is awkward. I took it in stride, but an elderly couple at another table was clearly offended by this. I want this restaurant to succeed, but the attitudes of a few will likely result in the loss of some regular customers. Regular customers are needed for these airport restaurants to survive. read more

Stopped in here for breakfast a couple weeks ago and was not disappointed: very personable service and perfectly cooked food. Each of us had the 2-egg, meat, taters & toast combo (me with bacon & he with sausage). Three thick cut large pieces of crisp bacon and my egg order (broken yolk & cooked hard) was perfect. Over medium eggs runny yolk Ed & hot. We both got hash browns (too crispy for me) but will order home fries next time. Place was 3/4 full by 8:15 on a dreary Saturday morning but plenty of additional covered deck seating for warmer weather. Very reasonable prices and so much tastier than chain restaurants in area. read more
