I've had an evaluation by another oral surgeon who I felt was just in the business of making money. I met with Dr Porter who sat down and talked to me. He reviewed my X-rays with with me and listened to my concerns. We both came to conclusion that one (not all 4) need to come out. I felt comfortable with the decision and appreciated his honesty. The day of surgery, I was very nervous, but the staff was very comforting. Before I knew it, the surgery was over. Dr Porter called me himself later that afternoon to check on me and answer any questions after that the anesthetic wore completely off.
