I cannot believe I have not written a review sooner. I have been going to Audra, The Wax Whisperer, for 5+ years; she is AMAZING!! At my very first visit, she made me feel at ease instantly, and walked me through everything. I see her every 6 weeks or so, and she's always open to my input on my brows. Booking is very easy (I do it online), she's always been on time, her space has always been very clean/relaxing, and she's very professional . Audra is amazing! I went to her for a Brazilian wax and it was a really great experience, like many other reviewers have said, it was virtually painless. She's very thorough, which is great, I hate getting a wax only to find out they missed spots later! You also get a complimentary take home bag with all of the aftercare stuff you need post-wax. I really appreciated that she didn't try to sell me on extra products after the wax. It can always be an awkward experience to have someone pushing product on you as you're trying to leave. She was very professional! My only "complaint" would be that it was kind of hard to find the office, so leave with a couple extra minutes so you have time to wander a bit. read more

After recently moving across the country, finding a new esthetician has been a little daunting. After meeting Audra, my nerves are now put to ease. Audra is so kind, patient and really listens to what you want. She will check in with you to make sure you're taken care of (the wax temperature, the brow shape, etc.). Once I got home, my husband noticed my on fleek eyebrows and mentioned how happy I was. Yes, I was literally so happy because Audra was able to tame my wonky different height eyebrows! I have been a client of Audra's for about two years, receiving a number of both her waxing and spa services. I agree with other reviewers that her waxing services are top-notch, clean, quick, and as painless as possible; but a lot of clients I think are missing out by not splurging on a facial! Audra's spa facials are so relaxing that you do not want to get up when she's finished! She is definitely very skilled at massage and does not skimp on using the same Skin Scripts products she promotes. In fact I enjoyed them so much that I purchased some of the products which was my idea - pressure for product sales is something you will not experience with Audra. She does sometimes (quarterly?) send emails with specials on both products and services and always puts her best effort forward in every aspect of her business. That all being said, my favorite thing about Audra is how personable she is. She seems to truly enjoy getting to know me and always picks up on conversations where they left off before. Today 5/20/15, was my first time with Audra. Very nice lady! She was professional and seemed to completely evaluate my brows. We all know how nail spas will just zip zip and there goes the integrity of your brows lol. So originally I came in for the brow design because I have sparse eyebrows. They are also shaped differently. It's just cruel! Anyway, I put my complete trust in her hands because based off the good word of my fellow yelpers, she is the one to go to! I also have been growing them out since december which seemed to shock her lol. We ended up tinting with a wax. With what my eyebrows gave her to work with and how they turned out, I am satisfied. In a couple days I'll get to see how the tinting really turned out. She left my eyebrows looking thicker than most places I've been and hopefully with some practice and her tips she offered on filling, I'll have some nice eyebrows for my friend's wedding this weekend. Let me start out by saying Audra is absolutely amazing. I got my brows, lip and a Brazilian wax. I wanted to get my legs but Audra was honest and said to save my money and let them grow out a bit longer. During my Brazilian Audra was extremely professional and made me feel at ease. I never leave reviews for anything but had to make an exception for this experience. First off, as a male who hates having a lot of hair but is horrible at shaving, I had to just man up to make the appointment after months of thinking how convenient waxing would be. This was literally the hardest part of the whole process. When I first walked in for my appointment, I was a nervous wreck. However, after spending less than 5 minutes talking to Audra, she turned out to be very charming and personable. I really feared the worst for nothing. Audra's professionalism and relaxed vibe made me forget how nervous I was. As far as pain goes, the majority of the wax did not hurt. I will say however, a few of the pulls in certain areas made me have to tense up quite a bit (the male way of avoiding saying something hurt haha), but thankfully Audra made it as comfortable as possible and was even kind enough to let me digest the couple seconds of pain before continuing.
