I have been a customer here for approximately one year. Until a few months an ago! I had a really horrible experience with one of the new stylists. I'll call her D. I played down and she really didn't say much. It would have been nice if she would have introduced herself bc I had never met her before. She starts getting her equipment ready......I played there for awhile before she starts putting the tape on my lashes At this time I noticed that the customer next to me arrived and was apologizing to her stylist for being late. D put too much tape on my eyes and couldn't remove it. After about ten minutes I asked what was going on! She admits that she can't get the tape off my lids. I asked her to get another stylist to help. Thankfully the other stylist whose client was late came over to help! She was able to get the tape off. I asked D how much longer and she said another 10 minutes. By the way the lady who was late is already gone! D prodded around and finally said she was finished. She handed me the mirror to look at her work. You couldn't tell that I had a lash fill. My lashes looked like someone ran an egg beater through them. D said that I could come back for some kind of complementary fill if I wanted too. All I wanted to do was get the heck out of there. You need to train your stylists NOT let them wreck a long time customers lashes. LL even charged e for the botched fill. Customers beware of the untrained stylists who work there. Customer service was horrible. I just moved to town and had lashes on from another artist. I made a consultation appointment to ensure if I needed a fill or removal. I was told by I believe her name was Destiny she cancelled my appointment and let me know they only do phone consultations. Excuse me that's not a consultation. I am a member and previously know what a consultation consists of. I was so disappointed with how rudely I was treated. They definitely lost my business. What a shame. read more

I came here for my last attempt as lashes! I went to a Lash "tech" in Haceinda Heights & always complained of burning in my eyes. She also charged a lot of money for her work, which I didn't mind until I had an issue with my lashes THE NEXT DAY! So, I came to Lash Lounge! This place is absolutely worth every penny! I joined the membership program & overtime you save so much money! It's fast & easy. Two fills per month, 10% off any other service & products. Also DID I MENTION A 72 HOUR POLICY! If you aren't happy or something went wrong as long as you report it in 72 hours they will fix it for you at NO EXTRA CHARGE! I've been blessed to have been given Ashley as my lash tech and she's absolutely amazing! She does my lashes well & im always happy with them. I have been coming to Lash Lounge for years now and can't say enough amazing things about this place. Ashley and Andrea are both fantastic! They are professional, quick and give quality service. My lashes have never been healthier while always looking so good. The lash Lounge owner, Anita, runs a great system that works for women who are on the go. They are flexible and very accommodating with times and appts. They undercharge in my opinion for the quality of service they offer. Finding great service, quality product and reasonable pricing is really hard to find today anywhere! This place is trash. I went to get a fill and booked with the master lash artist hoping to get someone with experience, but that did not happen. I asked her to keep the fill consistent with my prior service and she used 5x lashes instead of the individuals that I had, she also did not separate them properly and within a week the lashes were falling out in clumps. read more

Ok so initially I didn't get what I asked for at the lash lounge and I have to admit I was kind of a wimp about telling them exactly my disappointment before I left. But..they did call me and completely make it right..removing the lashes I trimmed myself and put on the ones I initially wanted. As I said before, everyone at the lash lounge could not have been any nicer..both visits very pleasant and the space is beautiful. I would definitely recommend them and I think my sister is actually going to go in. Thanks lash lounge!! read more

I do not recommend this business at all. If you have a disability, DO NOT GO HERE. They will deny you & your service dog & make you reschedule. I will be filing a lawsuit against this business tomorrow. I have just spoken with my lawyer & I will be filling ASAP. If you have been denied service due to your disability, please contact me through Yelp! Ashely is amazing! If anything, she should launched her own lash business. I will miss her entirely. She's the sweetest person you'll ever meet! Anita only accommodated me once with my service dog only, that was my first ever appointment with Ashely. He sat on the floor and behaved. Ashely can testify to this. Also, her staff always leaves. That's why they cancel your appointments last minute. They don't help you. And they're over priced. My first appointment was done by someone who is fairly new I got the classics. This is not my first time getting lashes I waited two days before taking a shower and followed all the rules no make up Half of them ended up falling out the day of. I even called advised this over the phone and I said I just didn't like their look I was advised to go to a more experienced technician. After my appointment for the refill was finished she said too much of my eyelashs had fallen out and she had run out of time so I had more lashes on one then the other. I went to my sisters graduation looking ridiculous it's unfortunate because the staff is really nice but I don't think I will be going back. Also wish I had known the fact that they don't have separate rooms and all the beds are in one open space. read more

If I were just reviewing my lash tech, Alex, this would be a 5 star review. She was great! Gentle, professional and skilled! Unfortunately the overall experience wasn't amazing. The Manager, Aileen, doesn't seem to have a lot of customer service skills. I wasn't greeted when I walked in, even though it was my first visit, and they are trying to build a client base. I sat for almost 10 min before she said anything. After Alex had done about 6 passes per eye, Aileen had her stop. While they look even, and not sparse, they definitely weren't as full and covered as previous lash extensions I've received! Alex then told me that when I came back in for my complimentary fill in 2 weeks, she would make sure they were more full and finished. When I went back to the desk, Aileen pulled a "bait and switch" on me. She said "oh we're not doing the complimentary fill anymore, but I can add you to a list for becoming a monthly member for 119$ and add an extra fill for the month, you won't need to use it but it will roll over." Which A) Makes no sense, a "bonus" Fill isn't incentive if I'm never going to use it, and B) if your tech tells me a promotion is on going, then you 100% should honor it, and then make sure she knows going forward it isn't. If Alex were to go to another salon I'd follow her, but based on my experience with the manager, I will be seeking another place for my lashes. read more

I made an appointment 3 weeks ago to get my lashes done for graduation. They texted me to confirm and everything. Less than 24 hours before my appointment they cancelled on me and told me to find somewhere else to go. Where do they expect me to go? The day before I want them done? This is absolutely horrible and the lady told me the manger would call me and she hasn't. This place has horrible service and when I was talking on the phone I asked her if my friends was cancelled as well Because we made the appointment together and she said both were cancelled but, when my friend called back she said only mine was cancelled HORRIBLE SERVICE. read more

The lashes: The first go around I had a (somewhat) dramatic set done by Michelle. When I opened my eyes, I looked into the mirror and saw a doll in the reflection... it was me!! Not unlike false lashes you peel off, these new additions brought volume to my lashes, depth to my eyes, and compliments to my features. But, unlike the false lashes you peel off, these new little additions were so purposefully placed that they sat and moved and looked as if I had genuinely grew them out, that they were a blessing I had from my momma instead of from the Lounge. :] As for my second time in, I had a refill with Andrea. Upon orders, it was to be done in a classic-look way. Although Andrea has an affinity to the fuller sets, she did her duty diligently and created a model ready result. I appreciate she was able to abide to the vision that was not her own; yet fulfill the work as if it had been. The classic lashes are actually preferred to those who are starting out, and I am adoring them greatly! In my personal opinion, I would love to see what Andrea would do if I had her unrestrictedly apply her creativity. The Lounge: they upkeep The Lash Lounge to the degree that I could even drop a piece of unwrapped gum on the ground and still think it's okay to eat - that's how sanitary it is in there. The waiting room is chic and open. I adore the little plants they have in places around the room. The temperature is nice - and that matters for when your sets require a length of time. The music is acknowledged yet not in my ear, which is pleasant. The table you lay on during the application is very comfortable and they even provide a cushion that goes under the knees for additional back support and an extremely soft blanket for added comfort. If I could add a third L to The Lash Lounge, it would be "Luxury." The staff: The receptionist who was on staff both visits was beautiful, kind, and professional yet welcoming. I never had any questions or doubts about her competency for she was attentive and aware throughout. I wish I had remembered her name better, but I recall her triple cartilage piercings if that gives any indication to who gave great service. Michelle, my first stylist, was like a big warm hug and I felt as if she was welcoming me into her own home. Sweet and soft spoken, she really aims to do the best job and will adhere to your preferences and requests. Andrea, my next stylist, was a bold, yet comforting, presence and felt like someone you could really laugh with. I wasn't with her as long as I was with Michelle, but I am eager to return to her all the same. The owner, and her daughter, are both hard working women who always have a smile to greet you with and every intent to make your experience an impeccable one. They want to hear your opinions and comments on what you thought was great and what you thought could be altered. Truly awesome to have an owner who welcomes both. The location: The plaza in which it is located in has been recently refurbished, looking nice and well-kept. The parking is extremely generous and the shoppers around are enjoyable company. I haven't been to other locations, but I highly recommend this one! read more

I recently moved to Thousand Oaks and was excited to find The Lash Lounge to help me with my lash lift, which I have been getting for over 1 year now. I originally had an appt when the owner advised me to reschedule my appt for 6 weeks in order for my lashes not to be over processed and suggested I purchase their lash hot iron while I waited, which didn't help with my already straightening lashes. Once my appt came up, Taylor completed my lash lift, and after an hour, my lashes looked exactly the same as before. I was so disappointed and she said my lashes were so thin and processed that she couldn't help me with the lift. I said, "then why did you even try to lift them only for them to look exactly the same?" She called the manager and they said I didn't have to pay for the service only for them to charge me $80 the next day! This is the kind of business the Lash Lounge is. They don't keep their word and they lack customer service and quality. So disappointed and definitely upset about my experience with the owner and Taylor. Please please, try another lash expert that actually can help you with your lash needs and avoid this kind of experience. read more

Absolutely horrible customer service. Canceled my lashes last minute and couldn't help me 4 days prior to leaving for a trip. Anita offered me no help whatsoever, no future discount, and was curt. Now my eyes look terrible as I need a fill and have no where to turn last minute. Also the lashes aren't that great---I was going due to convenience near my house. A friend already stopped going. I tried this place for the first time never seen by anyone here. I filled out a basic intake form. I met my lash lady and I showed her what I wanted. Now with that said, being in the medical field for 30 years and also being a licensed esthetician, I would have expected that my lashes would be assessed , my expectations for the look I wanted would be done before my session and being told if my desire is even possible with the lashes I have and a full explanation of what they have to offer as far as lengths etc.. Nope! Never happened! I basically showed her pictures of what I wanted and she said okay and she started. I laid there for 1.5 hours and once she was done I was handed a mirror. Not once did she tell me what she was going to do with where my lashes were at. When I expressed that they were shorter than the picture and what I wanted she proceeded to now tell me it's because my lashes were short and it's not possible to get the result I wanted. I was pissed! I spent $165 and another $95 to get lash serum. As she suggested because my lashes needed help with growth. I did express my disappointment and reluctantly paid anyway. I drove to target to get individual lashes to achieve what I paid $164 for! I will NEVER waste my money again on lash extensions and especially at this place !! I will be calling Monday to complain about the less than satisfactory service I received. What a waste of time and money!! read more
