I had a great experience here. The ladies were lovely. My eyebrows looked fabulous after a threading and tint. I did get some pimples after the face threading. The only suggestion would be to fully sanitize the face after and before, so no bacteria gets into the skin. read more

I usually like what Parul does, but I haven't seen her in a while. My last two threading experiences were not good, and the very last one was in fact, quite awful. I have somewhat thick brows that are kind of thin towards the unibrow. This person (I think she's new) hacked off the majority of it and my brows are EXTREMELY uneven and have two entirely different shapes. I look like a clown with a constantly vexed expression. I tried telling the lady that she took off too much, but she misunderstood and came at me with more thread, at which point I figured I was close to losing my patience, so I said enough and left. I didn't want to tip, but felt like I had to despite my dissatisfaction. I don't think I'll come here anymore. read more

I'm hoping this was a one off time but the last time I came here the lady did a poor job. She probably spent about 2.5 mins on my brows and missed a lot. The lighting is quite poor inside so I didn't see how bad of a job it was when I looked in the handheld mirror until I left and was in my car. I had already tipped and someone else had been waiting after me so there was no point in going back inside. I have seen these around and thought I'd try it yesterday. I will never go to one of these places again after my experience. During the threading I felt some pain and then on each of my eyes I heard this snapping noise and then my lids started stinging. I paid and left a $5 tip and my husband turned to me and from the look on his face I could tell something was wrong. My lids were both bleeding and swollen. Today- my lids are still super swollen and have dots of broken blood vessels. Obviously the skin got stuck between the threads. She also removed wayyy to much of my ends and I have these tiny eyebrows that I must now pencil in so it can look normal. read more

This is the only place I'll go to for eyebrow threading, I honestly don't trust my thick, unruly brows with anyone else. I ask for either Parul or Sweetie when I go in; they're both very helpful and attentive. Before they begin, we talk about how I would like my brows to be shaped - either cleaned up or thick with an arch. They'll stop partly through to show you the progress and ask you whether or not you like it so far, which is really helpful. Once they're done with the threading process, they'll apply a cooling aloe Vera gel on the areas in which they removed hair from. This is my absolute favorite part and makes all of the pain worthwhile lol. They also only charge $10 for eyebrows, so make sure to leave a good tip! read more

I have been to many places for threading, (I'm super picky :|) even other Layla locations, and by far this is the best place to have your eyebrows done. Parul is the best!!!! Before I continue with my review, I would like to mention that I had never gotten threaded before meeting Parul and I will never see anyone else other than her! I have lived as far as Valley Village and would still travel the distance to have her thread me. I fully trust in her and we have gotten to build a closer relationship with each other in the past 3+ years. My eyebrows are naturally uneven and one of the brows grows in a different direction than the other (the saying that your eyebrows are sisters and not twins - this is me!) but Parul works her magic on me and turns me into a woman (inside joke with her is that I come in all hairy like a man and then she turns me into a woman again). She's quick and thorough with her threading skills. I highly recommend that you see Parul for your threading needs - she will change your life! read more
