Great place to watch a football game. The nachos were great. Also the Hawaiian burger was delicious.

we were cruisin around Mazatlan, which was a quick stop for our Disney Cruise…read more.. we are definitely not the type to book excursions through the cruise line...if i want to see the town i'll get off the ship and walk a bit then hire a cab to take me around. on this day we talked to the cops when we got off the ship and they said that the old town was less than a mile...there was even a blue line painted on the street for us to follow! hell ya! this sounds like my kind of day... we followed the blue line through a quiet neighborhood... eventually we reached an intersection where the line stopped...another cop hurried over to assist (i guess our clueless faces were apparent) ... he walked us across the street and directed us towards the cathedral we saw from afar. walked through a really cute part of old town..to the cathedral...super duper! then we headed back...i needed to use the bathroom and i wanted a drink...i saw a sports bar across the street.. i guess this is our stop! myself, hubby and our 13 year old boy ...we ordered a round of drinks. I ordered a giant marg and hubby ordered a giant paloma. i went to use the restroom...it was not very clean but not horrible... boys said that their bathroom had a giant pee trough...haha! love it we then ordered shots of tequila (not for the 13 year old)...he stuck with his bottled water from the ship. as we were ready to leave they brought us another shot each..yum! our total bill was like $15 the bartender did not speak much English..but the other guy there did...they were super duper friendly and helpful! there was also a food cart outside and came in to take orders...but we weren't hungry at all...wish i would have tried something though. we were the only customers in the place ( i don't think they were actually open yet...but they weren't going to turn away customers)... if you want to go were all the tourists are...then this may not be your spot... if you want a pretty darn good drink with good service then you will like it here

We were looking for non banda music type bar and club since the gay bars were closed during the…read moreweekday. Choice one, Rosalia was closed too. So our pulmonia driver recommended Cheers, a full service bar that was about 5 minutes away. We gave it a try and within 10 minutes, a live band started playing. The band began playing ranchero like music, not the genre we wanted to hear. However, being the good sport we were, we stayed a good 45 minutes and ordered drinks. All staff were polite, helpful and accommodating. Servers definitely worked the room. There were lots of chairs to choose from, front and back but decided to sit at the very back area of the bar. No offense to the band, but we preferred not too close as we were not feeling the music already, unfortunately. Lesson learned, we should have asked the hostess what kind of music the band was going to play for the evening. How did we miss that. Cheers had tons of tables and chairs to choose from, especially for large groups. There was even a private room. The ambience was perfect, giant TV, good service, basically a good package. We would definitely come back to Cheers if DJ (or band) if hip hop, reggaeton, 70s/80s/90s pop dance were being played. We would even come for Ibiza sounds just so we can get out of resort to chill for the evening. We ended up finishing our night at Gus Gus, half a mile down the street.

Servers were super nice and karaoke was fun, not too lively with dancing but fun with a group of…read morefriends. Micheladas and tamarindo drinks were our favorite.
