This place is, unfortunately, a mess…read more During my visit, staff openly criticized the owner in front of customers--twice. They also spoke negatively about other customers to people standing nearby. Regardless of internal issues, that kind of conversation is wildly unprofessional and uncomfortable to witness. If working conditions are truly that bad, it raises the question of why those concerns aren't handled privately or addressed through proper channels. Management makes a point of repeatedly announcing their title, which feels unnecessary and performative rather than reassuring. Overall, the dynamic among staff appears dysfunctional and overly reliant, giving the impression that basic operations struggle without constant overlap. The physical condition of the business is equally concerning. The space is cluttered and poorly maintained: excessive dust, numerous houseplants taking over the floor area, visibly dirty fish tanks, and handwritten signs covering nearly every available surface. It's unclear whether this is meant to be a professional business, a storage space, or something else entirely. The lack of cleanliness and organization is hard to ignore--and easy to document. I only stopped in because the location was convenient and allowed me to avoid nearby construction. Convenience was the sole reason for my visit. The one positive note: they do offer a laundry service. Unfortunately, that is the only redeeming quality I experienced.

Lava Wash Laundromat - Seven loads of laundry at one time. Commercial washer and dryer! I'm getting it done in 2 hours!

Close to Subway, Wendy's, Dairy Queen and Great Wall Chinese to name a few places to grab some food while you do your laundry. The change machine takes cash only, yet takes up to a $20 bill, which is helpful for those of us who have to go to an ATM to get cash. This place may look a little out of date, yet the washers and dryers are of commercial quality (which is better than what you have at home)! There is soft music playing and benches, chairs and a table with four padded seat and back chairs. I've grabbed Subway a few times and eaten at the table. I only come here when things aren't normal. In the past it was due to no washer/dryer, losing electricity. This time it's because laundry has built up with my hubby in rehabilitation after triple bypass surgery. Whatever excuse you need, this is the place to get your loads of laundry to done in record time compared to four loads wash and dry at home for example!

I stopped by on a Saturday a little after 12PM. They are open until 2PM. I asked if I could drop my laundry off -no hurry. in a nutshell, I was told "#1. We are getting ready to close" #2. You probably won't even get it Monday.". #3 We don't even really do that."- what?! By the time she said it was $25/load, YES! she gave me a price with a I had done bailed, and done with all the excuses. I left for work. within 10 minutes after getting to work, I gave this lady a call. what time do you close? 2PM. What?!?! She just didn't want to fool with me. I reminded of her of the $20 tip I gave her at one time for doing my laundry. "Oh! you can come back. we are open. our computer system was down". WHY DID YOU NOT TELL ME THAT IN THE FIRST PLACE?! It may be out of the way, but I'll be stopping at BRITE AND CLEAN on Douglas Ave. They wash, fold, stack and wrap your laundry up in protective plastic for you. And don't run you off with excuses.

Their dryers are high efficiency units that dry very fast. Their prices were reasonable with a 20lb wash costing $3.75 and dry being 25 cents for 6 minutes. I only spent $2 to completely dry two full loads! I was there on a day when there wasn't very many people doing laundry so I was in and out pretty fast. It could be cramped on busy days so plan accordingly. They're open 24 / 7 / 365 BTW. Vending machines have a nice selection of chips and sodas. Prices are very reasonable. Great location with a Walmart, DQ, Mexican, Hibachi and a Domino's all very close. They have a purified drinking water station. available, just bring your own containers with you. It's currently 25 cents per gallon so its much cheaper than Walmart or Kroger. Parking is a breeze and it's in a safe, well lit area. A good business! I'll definitely give them some more of my business soon.

Our family absolutely LOVES the water dispenser addition however the right side dispenses about 5.5 gallons and the left side about 4.75 gallons when filling. For clarification, this is not a biggie but caught me off guard when my jug overflowed - $1.25 definitely worth not waiting in line forever at the alternative town locations!

Will ruin your wardrobe etc:…read more had to wash a good amount of clothing here one night. My things were in a storage unit while I waited for my house to finish being built. First, 3$/load, I was fine- thinking it would be good. Dryers are 25c/ 4 minutes- ridiculous! my 175$ comforter, that I cannot wash at home, and never had an issue with any where else- burnt, along with another blanket and a sweater and salvageable plaid pants that I have adored because they mean a lot to me- as I got them on a trip with a friend. they only had a small patch I think I can make the best of. All of these items were in separate dryers. I'm livid- I put 2$ in one dryer and my stuff was still wet. I had to put in more money- making it an average of 7-9$/ load. I was doing about 8-9 loads- with hopes to run more- but never again will I utilize this facility. between the price, unpredictable equipment and the roaches- I can't overlook it. I'm all for supporting small businesses- but this is a warning for anyone in the area- it's cheaper to drive to Columbus, do your laundry and come back. yes, a longer drive, but trust me- it's not worth ruining your things. I left my items that were ruined at the facility. Also, not the biggest deal- but their change machine only gives back on 1$ and 5$ bills. Buddy, with 3$+ prices- if you choose to dry your clothes here? Pop a 20$ slot in there for some quarters. A suggestion. Nothing bad there- but a suggestion- because the local gas stations will not give change for people using this facility.
