Extremely friendly staff lots of washer and dryers and I love that it's one of the few places in that area that have parking so you don't have to worry about finding parking while doing your laundry or while dropping items off. I've dropped my laundry off numerous times and each time there was an issue. From stained sheets, to stained clothes, missing socks, and items coming back with an odor from not being dried properly. I would give less than one star if I could. The owner is running a scam. I dropped a rug off to be cleaned about four months ago. They told me that it would take a few weeks. A few months later. I called to inquire about the rug. The woman who answered the phone said that it wasn't back from State Rug Cleaning, an outfit out of Cranston where they supposedly sent the rug to be professionally cleaned. I was shocked and asked for the owner to call me. Nothing. I got a call back from someone else who assured me that I would have my rug back soon. About two months later, I get a call that my rug was ready. I went to pick it up and it was wrapped in paper and I asked if I could unwrap it to see how it turned out. The rug is a cotton wool blend that had water stains on the bottom edges. They were still there. I asked for a refund of my $35 deposit because the rug was not professionally cleaned. A professional would have been able to get the water stains out. She said that the owner would give me a refund when he came in. She also said that he would be upset because he was out doing deliveries and would not be happy to have to stop what he was doing to come in and give me a refund. She claimed that she could not find the original transaction because it was so long ago. When the owner came in he asked me what was the issue. I told him that I wanted a refund. He asked me if I wanted something for nothing. Considering since I didn't get anything, I thought his comment was pretty low. He told me that he spent a week trying to clean the rug. I thought he was a laundromat owner, not a professional rug cleaner. My feeling is that he said he would send it to a pro, didn't, could not clean it because, he's not a pro. He probably thought I would forget about the rug because who waits patiently for 4 months for anything that was promised to be returned in a few weeks. I'm still astonished, but he will come on here and accuse me of being the problem. What hurt is that the rug is extremely rare and holds very deep meaning for me. He is the worst kind of conman. I hope his business feels the brunt of his poor attitude and lack of integrity. It's Christmas Eve, and he is officially on the naughty list. read more

Would of given less if i could of.Dryers havent been working for at least 6 months.Each time i come in a couple of more are out of order.Today i used 2 dryers,40 min each and the clothes were damp and dryer not even hot to the touch.Same as my last visit.Was told this and the last time she would leave a note.At least 10 dryers are out of order as of today 6/18/24.Been coming here at least 20 years but need to start looking elsewhere. read more

Nice quite place, but basically a DUMP. The washers are visibly rusty inside and have stained my clothes on more than one occasion. My clothes are also routinely left with soap spots all over them because the machines do not sufficiently rinse your clothes post wash. The icing on the cake with this place is the trashy staff. It appears management is sourcing the staff from nearby homeless shelters or neighboring soup kitchens. The most irritating aspect of this place is the cleaning routine pre-close. Hear me out. I'm glad the staff is diligent about cleaning the laundromat at the end of the business day, however why does it need to take place hour(s) before closing? Example: The staff mops the floors at night. When they are mopping the floor they take all the trash cans from around the laundromat and place them up on the FOLDING TABLES!!! I've literally had to take a dirty trash can off of a folding table, so I could use it to fold my freshly washed clothes. How about you do the cleaning after the customers are using the facility?! All time favorite experience here: Watched the gross women working the front desk smoke out the whole place with a cigarette, effectively stinking up the very clothes I just washed there. Business owners beware! I was never informed that there was a minimum charge for laundry that is below a certain weight. Was charged 21.60 for 2 sheets and 2 small towels. When I spoke to the owner he had attitude. (Always an attitude) There was no email, sign or notification otherwise I'd have never brought in this very small bit of laundry. Also was being charged for pickup and delivery for years even though I dropped it off myself. He is charging for delivery 1/2 mile from his business. The prices are very high $2.00 a pound in addition. Lost my business of 3 years. Song and Michelle are nice and hard workers. Freeway laundry right over the bridge on Waterman East Providence is $1.30 a pound. read more

I like the sitting area and the space doesn't feel cramped. The people who work there are indeed friendly. My problem is that laundry drop off is exponentially more expensive than other laundromats. For me to drop off a set of sheets and two towels at a neighborhood Place is six dollars. The laundry club charged $13 for the same weight. That is their minimum price. Additionally, when I got a shirt dry cleaned I was informed that a woman shirt cost more to clean then a man's shirt. That's bull crap. read more

The Coin machine is definitely broken. It always over charges me. The price of the cleaning is not cheap. There's no reason for them to charge me through this way. I told the staff, some of them are kind and return my money back, but last time the staff refused to admit the machine problem and play a very good hand trick to prove the machine is working. I know what money I have in my pocket and I saw that in the machine. They just don't admit that. I don't really care about 10 dollars but I don't want to be foolish by their arrogant behavior. I am seriously disappointed in this place. I've used it for twenty years, with a break during COVID. Going in again after this break, I started to load a machine after work, at 6:30 pm. I was told I couldn't-that it was too late. I expressed surprise. The nan in charge said they had changed their hours recently. I said I didn't know and removed my clothes. I asked if I could st least use the change machine. He said no. I left then, but heard him say to another customer, "wow, people are coming in so late". I called back that I had just gotten out of work, I worked all day. He said something back which I didn't catch but the time was disparaging. There was ONE person in the whole place at 6:30 pm. This business is not customer focused in its hours, nor friendly to customers. I was very turned off by the attitude of the man there, aside from not being able to do my laundry or use the change machine. He was just a mean guy. read more

Having only two washers and two dryers that's not even in the same building as me, placed a damper on my laundry needs. When my landlord decided to raise the washer and dryer to $1.75 each and sometimes they don't even work, I decided to give The Laundry Club a chance since it was less than a minute walking distance from my apartment building. First impressions was wow, I got plenty of washers and dryers so no need to fight though parking can get a bit limited as there's only 5 dedicated parking spots for the place while the others are reserved for other stores. Having laundry that had piled up from two weeks it took some getting use to finding which washer and dryer would give me the best bang for my quarters. The on-duty attendant was very helpful and pointed me to the large washers ($4.25) designed for 35+ lbs of clothes and there was even a scale for me to use to weigh it out. There was a 50+lbs washer ($6.25) right next to them in case I ever really wanted to stretch my laundry washing for another week or so. Wash took a good 45 minutes to wash and there was two separate wash cycles so my clothes got extra clean. Drying there was two large 50+lb dryer and the regular size 35+lb dryer. I dumped all my clothes in the 50+ dryer and put in $4.25. It took a good hour and a half but all my clothes were dry to the bone. Overall, my first experience was grand and I went there 3 more times after that with the same great experience. Plenty of washers and dryers (though the large ones were usually taken, but the regular size ones did just the trick), a very helpful on-duty staff, and just the ease and vicinity for me to just walk over and move my clothes from washer and dryer makes this my new laundry hotspot. Oh and there's free wifi, plenty of chairs and tables, and even a dry cleaning service. Also when you go there's a laundry club card that I recommend everyone gets if you plan to go there alot. Each visit you make, you can get one stamp and on your tenth stamp you can get a free full service triple wash and dry. Can't wait to get it since the staff looks like they do a pretty good job of washing, drying, folding, and packing up everyone's clothes :D read more

This place is wonderful. The staff is always nice and helpful, and they do their best to make the turnaround for your clothes fit your schedule. On top of that, their prices are very reasonable--so reasonable a poor hungry graduate student can afford to get her laundry wash dried and folded and save the precious time that takes up. Oh, did I mention the student discount?? Yes there is a student discount. It's so worth my time and money to get my clothes done here. I saw a couple of negative reviews of this place and was appalled! I can't imagine any of the staff I know here doing any of the things these negative reviews described. My parents and sister visit from out of state often-- our whole family loves this place and the people there, especially the owner! They have upped their laundry game! These new washers not only require half the soap the old ones needed they weigh your clothes to use the proper amount of water. No waste. Also, my clothes came out dryer than usual so less time in the dryer. Plus this place is always clean with friendly staff. read more

Horrible service. Claimed to be experts at dry cleaning. Left my one thousand dollar LV scarf to be cleaned and it came back with a hole. I got connected through a fellow wellness practitioner and am so happy I started using them. They have saved me so much time, back aches and stress with this service. Dirty in - clean out Unlike other area cleaners they do not shrink your clothes, nor do they use a detergent that is so overly perfumed that you smell like your the victim of a Yankee Candle industrial accident. Their rate is a hair higher than other laundromat soft wash-dry-fold however they turn around drop-offs much quicker than most and if you are the type who is self serve they have wifi and a large seating area. I live on the west side of the city. A 20 minute bus ride to the east side of the city where they are located. I don't drive but it's 1000% worth the travel... the place is always extremely neat and clean (one if the places near me is filthy. Empty chip bags. Paper McDonald's cups laying around inside)... but this place is spotless. They have food and drink vending machines. As well as for the little boxes of detergent.. 75 cents a little box. I do my own laundry in the machines. Fully washed and dried is $4 plus the 75 cents. If you go week day like I do. In out and done in less than an hour. I'm not really sure how to say this and I mean no offense but my first time there I had questions about how it all works. The staff took their time helping me and forgive me spoke English (I live in a heavy ethnic area)... I go to this place every few weeks and highly recommend. read more

I have started to come here to wash & dry my over sized comforters. The largest washer and dryer they have is HUGE!! It eats up somewhere between $6-$7 in quarters , luckily on the wall is a change machine also a detergent & softener dispenser if you forget your soap for a small price. The staff have been friendly and helpful by providing tennis balls for the dryer so my comforters dry evenly. The laundry mat is clean and bright. The machines are well maintained and spotless. There is a sitting area with magazines to help you pass the time if you are waiting it out. I also started dropping my dry cleaning off. I love the hours here and that helped me to decide to switch dry cleaners. I can swing by after work and not be worried I won't make it in time. Every time I drop off or pick up they are always open and ready to help me! Plus my dry cleaning bill looks a little less. read more

This is my backup laundromat. I happen to frequent one that has closed unexpectedly before for a day or two, so when that happens, I go to the Laundry Club. Laundry Club is clean, bright, airy, and has free WiFi. Aside from the sunny cafe-style seating area in the front, there is also a little spot tucked away in the back where you can kind of hide, set your laptop up, and while away the hour until it's time to fold. There is ALWAY staff working here. They are pleasant and helpful. Here's why I don't frequent this place: it is EXPENSIVE. While the dryers are the standard .25 for 8 minutes, their washers are tiny for the amount of quarters they require. I can put twice the amount of laundry in for half the price at my regular laundromat. I do laundry every two weeks normally. This costs me less than 10 at my normal joint. At the Laundry Club, it's about $16-$18. Ridic. Also, finding parking here can totally blow. So three stars, for being a solid second-choice. read more

This really is as good as it gets. The owners are fantastic and the staff are really nice. I called freaking out about the possibility of bed bugs and they calmly walked me through a solution. Not only were they able to deal with my problem professionally and efficiently, the good news is that it was a false alarm. Regardless, I can vouch for the thoroughness - if I'd had bed bugs, their procedure for washing and drying protects other customers' clothes and gets to the root of the problem. Due to extenuating circumstances, my husband and I have been getting our laundry done here regularly for the past few months, and we have had an awesome experience. It's reasonable, too, for the service they provide. We utilize their laundry pick up and drop off service and it's insanely convenient; getting our laundry picked up at our apartment and then dropped off a few days later. The clothes are always well cared for: items that should be pressed and hung are, and everything else arrives folded up neatly in bags. One day we'll go back to doing our laundry regularly at home, but we'll still be sure to bring by big loads and dry cleaning to the Laundry Club. read more

I have coin op laundry in my apartment building but would much prefer to come here. The facility is nice and clean and there is an abundance of machines as well as seating for while you wait. I so badly want to give The Laundry Club a glowing review after coming here for a little over a year, but I simply can't. If you are the first person to use one of the washers on any given day, the machine fills with rusty, red water that will fully stain everything you've put in the machine. While the staff offers "rust remover powder" to such unlucky clients, the powder is largely ineffective. They assume no responsibility for the damage because it isn't damage caused by "their machines," but rather the water. Go figure. Additionally, I've used their wash and fold service before. I got a new, beloved mint green blouse back with a massive cream colored splash across the shoulder and back of it, obviously from a bleach spill. They denied that they had used bleach on my products and said that it had been there before they even started. I knew this wasn't true because it was the first time that the blouse had even been washed. Long story short, this business is almost completely incapable of taking responsibility for their damages and I would certainly NOT recommend them to anyone. read more

Now I take my reviews very serious. I've been on yelp for awhile. So when I say this is a cesspool of an establishment I don't want to mislead you into thinking the place is better than it is. It would take me longer than it's worth to go into complete details but I just finished a load of laundry here last night and this morning I noticed all soap spots still on my clothes. The real issue for me, while I'm folding my clothes on a dirty folding table, covered with lint and dirt, there is some employee literally smoking tobacco inside the laundromat and getting that gross smell imbedded in the clothes I just washed. What an idiot, seriously. Then when you think it couldn't get worse- the employee puts the cigarette out and packs a lip of skoal and starts spitting the juice into an empty coke bottle, when I asked for help finding another folding table to use, this employee tripped and spilled all that lip packing juice all over my freshly washed mizzen and main dress shirt. Had to resist backhanding them and exploding that lip of skoal out of their mouth. read more

I'm surprised to see all the negative reviews on here! My husband and I sometimes drop off our laundry for their wash dry fold service, and sometimes do our laundry here ourselves, depending on our schedules. We always get our laundry back nicely hung or folded when we drop it off. When we do our own, there are plenty of machines available and a nice little area to sit with (current) magazines to read. The staff is all very polite and friendly. The only reason I wouldn't give it a 5-star review is that to do your own laundry is actually pretty expensive ($2.75 to wash!). read more

If it weren't for the people and the kind customer service I get, the occasional mix ups and burned clothes I am not sure I would come here but they do exactly as I ask for hang drying, washing blankets, adding dryer sheets etc. and it's easy drop off and pick up for me. I've been going to Laundry Club for say... 10 years or so and use their wash-dry-fold service. While their prices have gone up over the years (not too badly), their service is priceless when it comes to time saved and convenience. They're open every day (except major holidays I think), 8 am - 9 pm. On a weekday, I typically drop my laundry off when they open at 8 am on my way to work, and pick it up on my way home. Weekends, when I roll in late, I can drop it off around noon and again, pick it up later on in the evening. Priceless. read more

This is not a review of the self-service facility. We have been dropping off and picking up our laundry here for about a year now. We live in a building with coin-op washer and dryer in the basement. I think these machines are from the 80s. Suffice it to say that paying twice as much for the Laundry Club's wash-dry-fold service is SO. WORTH. IT. - Clothes are carefully folded, organized, and packed into a reusable bag - They have great instincts about which things to air dry and hang--I haven't had any sweaters shrink or lose their shape - Turnaround time is so fast - if you drop off first thing in the morning you can pick up in the evening - Staff are helpful and friendly, and get to know you if you're a regular - Location right in Wayland Square is a plus--and dedicated PARKING! 5-minute spot for people dropping off/picking up - Free candy Unless and until we have laundry in unit someday, we will be doing all our laundry here. read more
