(Maybe because they charge a 4% fee, idk.) Parking in front and back at this place. I didn't realize there was parking in back which would have been helpful since it's a bit closer but oh well. There are lots of folding tables around, lots of laundry carts, and lots of TVs though only one seems to have any sound coming from it and it's blaring. You have to prepay on a card and that's used to do the machines and swipe you access to the bathrooms. They sell a ton of options for laundry products and snacks too and have tvs on. They offer laundry service by the pound I think there's a ten pound minimum and I've seen their results and looks like they do a good job. BEAVER alert. The first time I came my bf said let's go out back I want to show you something. We stood my a big rustic fenced in pond by there and he said I saw a beaver back here. I said that's bs but he showed me a pic. We didn't see it walked up front and wandered by the ditch deep water thing that flowed from a tunnel from the pond some hundreds of feet up and there was the BEAVER. Big ass paddle tail and wood collecting. Subsequently we've seen a stoic heron and family of geese with paddle of babies.

The new owners of the past year or so have locked the bathroom, and even turned off the water to the laundry tub by the washers. So if you accidentally spilled the laundry detergent or fabric softener on your hands you can't clean them. Why shut the laundry tub faucet off? The colorful happy mural of blue bubbles on the windows - which actually drew me to the place- are gone too. It's a very sad place now to sit in. Uggh. It was a really nice place before. Pictures on the wall. If you gotta sit for a couple hours all alone...this place is always empty - make it pleasant. I do like the few giant oversized machines and go when blankets, pillows, and comforters need to get done.

Jay pointed out that if I dry my washed laundry in more drying machines, the drying happens quicker. The facility is kept very clean, has a clean washroom, snack machines, and seating. Great!

I didn't see any out of order signs, there were washers and dryers for everyone (not too busy Sunday afternoon), and this time we got smart and brought our own detergent and dryer sheets. There was a worker at the desk to take in laundry and another one was cleaning the lint out of the dryers. It was amazing to see. So much lint. It was like watching Dr Pimple Popper (which I've never done BTW). The high capacity dryers practically dried everything in 10 minutes. It would have been an acceptable level of dryness from my home dryer, but I felt rich and splurged another .25 for another 10 minutes. So easy with the app!
