This is exactly what the name describes, its a small round farm stand on a country road. I have…read morebeen coming here for years because they usually have some the best unique produce out in this area. I was sadden to see that the farm was sold to a new owners. But my sadness was quickly laid to rest because the new owners are just as enthusiastic about the farm and their produce as the previous owners. What do I mean by unique? Well, this time I found long bean which is commonly utilized in southeast Asian cuisine. I love adding it to many different types of salads. I simply wash it and cut it up and add it raw. Its delicious and healthy and once again I have never seen this at a mid west farm stand. This farm also produces very good honey. The new owner is also attempting to try growing some grapes for wine making and of course I purchased a bottle of his young red wine that has not been aged.

It was our anniversary. We went to the town ofsawyer, Michigan,to go to our favorite coffee shop…read moreinfusco coffee. Afterwards we decided to walk around this garden center. We were in no hurry on our wedding anniversary. So we walked in and at first it was a farmers market. Nice like most farmers markets. Then you started walking around and saw they had so much more. It was a little grocery, a pet supply area, souvenirs, holiday room, and a huge greenhouse area. We spent so much time here we decided not to go to the beach and head home to plant our flowers. This place was amazing. We talked to Karen back in the nursery about flowers. She was very patient, kind and answered all our questions. We will definitely be back around the holidays because Karen was telling us how amazing the place is decorated.
