Wow what a great first day my son had at Preschool! I toured quite a few schools and found The Learning Experience at Gilbert-Higley to be the best! They are taking extra precautions during this time! They are having the children wash hands frequently, not allowing parents past the vestibule, and only offering limited tours after hours. Many centers do not have these precautions in place at this time. This was a real concern for me. My son had so much fun at Preschool and told me about all the fun activities he did and the new friends he made at The Learning Experience. This is going to be a great fit for our family! read more

Child has been attending since 2 1/2 years old.i will have to say paying $50 for a child to be included in a preschool graduation is absurd. Especially when the kids were not even prepared for the performances. The teachers were even looking cause the kids did not know the lines or dance for 2 songs, why?? DO NOT TRUST THE REVIEWS. The owners and management delete negative reviews. Management also solicits reviews by offering to be put into a raffle for leaving a review. One of the reviewers is the directors husband! A review I left months back was deleted. This is an AWFUL place to leave your children. The front office staff are cold hearted. They do not care about your children they are in it for the money. Neeta is especially scary because she acts so sweet to your face but is a monster behind closed doors. Her and her husband are the greediest people on planet earth. They pick the pockets of parents and will grab every cent they can from you. $10 per child for dropping off even just ONE MINUTE after their 9:30 cut off time. $5 per child for every time you forget to sign in your child. I got charged $20 for dropping offf my children 3 min after the cut off time, I was 8 months pregnant with twins. No sympathy or understanding whatsoever. Towards the end of our time leaving our children there, I stopped doing pick up and drop off because they weren't welcoming and management made me uncomfortable. As I speak to more and more former staff members, I learned that teachers hate it there and most of the good ones who actually cared about the well being of the children got fired because they spoke up for what's right. One teacher was doing drugs in the bathroom and another teacher spoke to management about it and got fired for having an attitude. The meals and snacks being offered to the children are not nutritious at all, they choose the cheapest route possible for food. Meals are microwaved and from cans. PLEASE READ. The most concerning part about our experience at TLE was an incident that happened with our two year old daughter. Our daughter came home with a massive mark on her arm(pictures below). It looked like someone had grabbed her. They called me once, didn't leave a voicemail or anything(lied on the incident report and said they did), didn't try to contact my child's father to report the incident to him after I was unable to answer. When we confronted management about what happened, they stated to us that their cameras do not record so we can't see what happened. They had no idea what happened, blamed this massive mark on another child. The teachers present in the classroom had conflicting stories. Said they didn't see what happened but also said the other child grabbed my daughters arm and twisted it. But I thought no one saw what happened!? For the sake of your family and your children, consider other options. They are not in this business for the love of children. The teachers are so unhappy, overworked, and underpaid it affects the classroom and the children. read more

For the price they are charging you would expect to have better customer service when you enter. Also didn't really feel safe anyone can walk in. I would look for other option. Also the playground in the back all you hear is car noise. read more

Concerns with the business owner and director of your facility in Gilbert AZ on Pecos, I will be posting to all social media regarding the very unprofessional disposition of the business owner Nita (?)when calling to discuss a charge on my credit card, for services your Director Chandlar and Nita (?)determined on April 22, 2022 were no longer available for my granddaughter. I requested refunds for a $150.50 charge that occurred on April 25, 2022 as well as the $300.00 charge on April 1, 2022 for registration in the summer program that, per the business owner and director my granddaughter would not be able to participate in as the center had decided to part ways. Chandlar stated that the 2nd child was welcome, which why would i bring one child to your center when the other is not welcome, who in the right mind would put a child in this type toxic environment. Based on the conversation with both Nita(?) and Chandlar it would appear that this center is missing the nurturing disposition required to work with children. We all know children have different personalities and no one child fits in the same box, however to contact us Friday 4/22/22 without that our granddaughter is no longer welcome and feel that we should have no problem dropping off our other granddaughter is beyond my comprehension. Also since the child is no longer welcome and The Learning Center broke the contract which was to support both children, there should be no additional charges accessed to me or my family. read more

The best daycare ever! We started here with my one-year-old after we had a bad experience with another daycare facility. I had high hopes after seeing the brightly colored interior, the lesson plans, the fun classrooms and my hopes were met! The staff has been incredible! Everyone has been so kind and they make sure to always provide an update when I pick my son up from school. They always send updates throughout the day with usually 3-5 photos each day. They have frequent water days, and my son loves that! After only a few months in their care my son has come home knowing more sign language than I've taught him at home, knows lots of fun children's songs with the dance moves, has started to learn how to share and wait his turn, and has developed a LOVE for his Bubbles (the school's mascot). Every day they spend time on learning colors, letters, numbers, shapes and it shows. It's so evident that the teachers spend so much time involved with the kids instead of just "babysitting" them. There is clearly a lesson plan and structure that the kids thrive in. I would highly recommend! read more

I really appreciate that they have made sure to take good health and wellness precautions during this time and the owner is so kind and always makes sure to answer any questions I had. Not organized at all. The director is very fake ! I wouldn't recommend this place at all. The price is way to high for the care you are getting. They hire off of Craigslist for very young teachers. The place is clean but it's brand new so that's expected. The director was gossiping when I walked in and then pretended to care about a potential family enrolling. We didn't enroll! It's all about making money and enrollment here. You are getting min wage inexperienced teachers off Craigslist for over 250.00 weekly, no thanks. read more

My two and a half year old daughter has been attending The Learning Experience since last September and we absolutely love it. My daughter has learned more than I could have ever imagined while attending this school. Her vocabulary level is a lot higher than most kids her age and I can thank The Learning Experience for that. In the beginning, I had a lot of "mom guilt" dropping my daughter off at school but the staff made me feel so comfortable and would send me pictures through out the day so I could see how much fun she was having. The owner also makes you feel like family and has always answered any questions or concerns I have had within less than an hour. This place is a great place to have your children attend if you want them to learn a lot and enjoy themselves :) read more

SAFETY COMES FIRST my little angel is 13 months old he had 4 Incidents in just three weeks the first one on 2/7/19 there was a big red mark on his left hand (no reason no explanation given no teacher was present to see the incident )the second on 2/11/19 was a big deep severe scratch on his face they said it's from another Classmate(the teacher left them without attendance to do laundry as per Mrs Heather the center manager and they called me after 5 hours ) the third one on 2/11/19 another scratch on his left cheek (again no explanation the teacher didn't see what happened and no one was watching the monitor)and now after just one business day on 2/25/19 he got a third scratch on his face with no reason no explanation no one was watching the monitor as per Mrs Heather , Mrs Jennifer and Mrs Jenanne ... I filled a police report and we are consulting with our lawyer for a legal action! read more

I am very frustrated with this location. This morning I wasn't feeling well. I pay for full time care, but I kept my son home to be careful in case I had a bug. After eating I decided I must have just been over-hungry because I felt fine. At 12:30 I brought my son in and they refused to take him because it was after 10:00. I was so confused... why?!?! She tells me that there's staffing issues. If I am paying for it, WHY is it not staffed REGARDLESS of whether I'm there? It is PAID FOR. She also tells me they are napping and if I have to bring him back to do it at 2:30/3 when nap is over. WHAT?! It's 12:30 and you say nap has already started and could go until 3:00?! They are FIVE!!! Exactly how long is nap that they need until 3:00?! So in my consideration of their health and safety I suddenly can't use the childcare I PAID FOR because they can't staff and they over-nap?! I also lose money because I can't go to work until after 3 now! My son has also complained multiple times about being bullied. In addition Pickup is at 6:00, I usually pick up at 5:30 because I have to be somewhere at 6 some days and 6:15 other days, and with COVID pickup can take up to ten minutes. Pickup has taken so long that I had to change from 5:45 to 5:30 several days because I have been made to be late to my 6:00 MULTIPLE times (which costs me money) because they choose to have conversations with parents at pickup and they take too long. I have never complained about it. ONE time I walk in the building at 6:03 due to traffic (I checked bc I was trying to hurry) and the owner had the audacity to lecture me for not paying for late pickups for being late by THREE minutes! I just stared at her in shock. I even excused it thinking- "Maybe she doesn't know I am always early?" I was already pulling him out but I'm so angry right now. They are going to nickel and dime me over THREE MINUTES and then tell me I can't drop my son off during the HOURS AND HOURS of childcare I PAID for?!?! Where is my refund if you refuse to watch my kid?!?! I have four kids all have had childcare as my son is the youngest, and never have I posted a negative review of one before, even if I left it. My experience with TLE has been amazing. I am a first time mom and spent months looking for the right place for my son. I made sure he was loved, safe, and well taken care of in every way. From the moment we walked through the doors Ms.Heather and Ms.Jennifer welcomed us with open arms. I knew I had found the place for him. The enrollment process was great and the transition from home to daycare was even greater. It was than and still is so personal with every teacher. They all share something special with him.
