Visited this store shortly after renovation and reopening. It's a great Lego store with plenty of things I found which were backordered online. I especially appreciate the customer service I received from everyone, but especially Nate. Nate helped me out with an insider point issue with my account. My family and I decided to stop by the Lego store while at the mall. We walked in and were greeted by a friendly worker. The store was clean and bright. They had displays spread out around the store which were very cool to look at. I found two Legos that I wanted to build. At checkout I talked with the friendly woman at the register. She talked to me about creating an account for coupons so I did that. I had a very positive experience. Overall the store had some cool displays, the workers were all very friendly and they have a variety of Lego builds to choose from. read more

I live in the west side of the city so I generally go to the LEGO store in Galleria. However, in recent months I had the opportunity to visit the LEGO store here at Baybrook Mall twice. Just based on my two visits, I already like it much better than the one at the Galleria mall. The store itself here is much bigger than the one at Galleria. If I have to guess I would say it's at least twice as big. Both times I went on weekdays and there were barely anyone in the store so it felt nice. For some reason my impression is the Galleria store is always crowded, maybe it's due to its small size. The employees at all LEGO stores are generally friendly and helpful but I feel like the ones here at Bayrbook mall are especially so. I much prefer the Build a Mini tower here as well as both times they had more interesting parts. If you live in the area, I would definitely recommend coming here. Even if you live farther away, it's still worth a visit to this location. I just wish LEGO would open a store in the west side already, maybe in Memorial City Mall? read more

This Lego store is probably my kid's favorite store in this mall. I have to tell them beforehand that im not buying anything. Greedy little heathens would spend all my money here if I let them. What they really like is the "open play" that they have. When you first walk in they have a section of mostly grey and black Legos. They let the kids play with these and my son loves it. He somehow always builds some crazy car or gun and will play with it for an hour if I let him. They also have the Lego Duplo "open play" area that my heathen daughter likes. She doesn't really build stuff, she just likes to stack them up but she enjoys it nonetheless. The Legos are sorted by age, on the far left it starts with the Duplo big blocks then the ages go up. One thing I don't care for is that they have separated what they think are girl Legos from the boy Legos. I guess all stores do that, for some reason it just irks me, feminist at heart I guess. They're toys, doesn't matter what color the blocks are. Meh. Anyway, the back wall they have the loose Legos and tubs you can get. That's another of my daughter's favorite. She just likes to stick her hands and feel them. She has sensory processing disorder and those blocks seem calm her down a bit. We manage to walk in this Lego store and spend 30mins in there and spend zero dollars. That's a win to me :) read more

I really don't like going to the mall. I avoid it like the plague, and if my daughter had asked me instead of her father about buying some Jurassic Park Legos, I would have taken her to Target and been done with it. Sigh. She did not. After our movie at SGC we trekked to the mall to check out the LEGO store. This was my first time visiting this store, and despite the fact I wanted to be anywhere else, the store is pretty awesome. The employees were super nice, almost too nice. The store was clean. And, even better, there are places to play with LEGO's! Yeah. The adult possibly had more fun than the overwhelmed kid who couldn't make a deduction, forced us to walk the mall, only to decide an hour later and make us go back for what we encouraged her to get the first time. What's not to love about a store that only sells Legos? Downside- if you are a man over the age of 12 you will look/feel like... A) a huge nerd B) a child predator C) every adult in the store thinks something is wrong with you for bouncing around the store saying "Wow look at that (30+ year old childhood non-Lego franchise... I.E. Starwars, Simpson's, Ghostbusters) item they now make as a Lego set!" D) All of the above Upside- Take your kid as a cover to the real reason you're there, ...grown man in The Lego Store. = D Upside/Downside- Wall of Legos doesn't flow into giant Lego pit you can swim around in Scrooge McDuck style. So... Some dignity saved, I guess... Reason for 4 vs. 5 stars... Damn... everything not on sale is so expensive. A few kits were $ 200+ and some much more than that, ...seriously... They are small pieces of plastic in a cellophane bag, inside a cardboard box, there isn't that much to it. read more

This is one of those stores for bringing out the kid in you! Legos, Legos, Legos of all types. Any color, size, shape and any kit you could possibly imagine. Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Marvel Comics characters, Chimera, Ninjaga and so. Inch more can be found here. Impressive kits that stood out to us were the large Tower of Orthank, the full size Ewok Village and the Millennium Falcon among others. The back wall that featured Legos in a vast array of colors and shapes was so cool. If you're missing any Lego pieces in sets of your own, this is a good place to come looking for replacements. The sets also make super gifts for the kids of all sizes in your life or even yourself. The store is organized well and it's fun to look around and see all the awesome displays and imagine building them for yourself. It's hard not to leave empty handed from this place. Associates are friendly and helpful and seem to enjoy their jobs and that makes this place more enjoyable and fun. This Lego store is a definite must return. I've never had so much fun shopping in my life! My fiancée and I went in for a board to use my old Legos to build something and left with 100.00 worth of Legos... Jared was super sweet and so much fun he showed us all kinds of new sets and even gave me some ideas for my old ones. Kuddos to this location for having the friendliest staff ever.
