I went there one time for grand opening. It is a small store and look like any regular Lego store. Staffs were nice. Everything was fine.

Located in the heart of Malverne's Mom & Pop business district, Rocky's Comics is the rare find…read morethese days of a genuine local comic book store. Dio, the owner, is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet, and his enthusiasm for everything comic-related makes visiting here a great experience always. Upon walking in, there is an entire wall of new comics to choose from (bagged and boarded, which is a nice touch for us collectors) every Wednesday, and a good selection of back issues to comb through as well in the back of the store. Also in the back of the store, there are a few arcade games set up for the kids (or adults, if you're a fan!). Rocky's has a very large selection of collectibles (yup, toys) to browse. Tons of Funko PoPs to find here, from the newest releases to harder to find exclusives from past Comic Cons. In addition, you'll find a variety of comic-based character statues, action figures, Pez dispensers, plushies, you name it. If you don't see it, Dio is always happy to order it for you if possible. The prices on all of the aforementioned collectibles are the final icing on the cake, as everything is priced fairly and usually even lower than you'd find most of these items online or in other stores. As a collector myself, this is very much appreciated! All in all, if you are a fan/collector of comics, super heroes, sci-fi, or anything along those lines, Rocky's Comics is a must visit. It packs in everything you'd find in a mall/chain store, but with the personal touch of an owner who actually cares that you stopped in to visit.

Not only do they have a nice selection of comics, they have an incredible selection of pops. You can't go into Rocky's Comics and not buy a pop lol. Highly recommend especially if you're a first time comic buyer or trying to get back into the comic scene they won't steer you wrong.

It's mostly self checkout, with the occasional one employee at a self checkout station ringing people up. I don't drive so if my husband doesn't take me there I'll take the bus, sometimes stopping there as I'm running errands at other stores. Having the security guard at the door follow me as if I'm going to steal instead of purchase due to the bags I'm carrying from said errands, it makes me feel uncomfortable and almost makes you not want to make the purchase at all. But I still made the purchase to prove that there was no need to follow me around the store like that.

Everyone was very friendly. Having Old Navy located next door is a smart way to lure in shoppers. I stopped in to check out their party supplies and children's games and trinkets. This is a great store for affordable children's gifts, toys and anything fun related. They also have a lot of summer gear from clothing, flip flops, slides to beach chairs all $5 or under $5. The makeup and accessories aisle here takes up the whole back of the store including the fitness section. The home furnishings aisle has a ton of items to make your space cool or zen. Ill definitely be back throughout the summer months scoring some deals. They had some beautiful gallon drink fountains for just $5.

Notebooks, pads, envelopes, pens, planners, tape, scissors, labels, colored pencils, etc. (it is a stationery store after all) Elegant gift bags and gift wraps for every taste and occasion Candy and gum at the counter Helium balloons Lottery games (not Quick Draw) Plenty of little knickknacks and last minute gift ideas, especially for children (but enough for the grownups too) Handy ATM, only $2.00 They carry a great selection of cards, featuring American Greetings and some indie brands. Keep in mind, it's not 'half price cards' -- they are not cheap. It's the kind of card selection you find yourself browsing extensively, and going "ooooh" a lot; maybe you even end up buying 'advance' or 'emergency' cards because you know sooner or later you will need to send something special to someone special. All in all, for a card/stationery store it's about as good as it gets, plus it's a great place to shop small.
